1 Prolouge

In a dark room a throne-like seat can be seen basking in the moonlight and within that seat sat a figure leaning to with eyes closed.

Tak! Tak! Tak!

The sound of someone walking echoed as a tall and lean figure appeared wearing a black trench coat and a fedora hat as he walks slowly the figure suddenly opened his eyes revealing a blue crystal clear eyes that looked straight at the hat-wearing figure and said "what is it this time Oscar?" In a calm tone.

And Oscar said as he stood in front of him holding a wine bottle "My dear brother I was just wondering why would you not accept Merlin's offer of being the right-hand man everyone in the Runeguard had already pledged their loyalty to him, I'm sure it won't be long till they make a move." Then he pours the wine into two wine glass and gave the other to his brother.

The figure took a sip and said "Is he worthy? I don't think so, I Leo have been crowned as the king of assassins and a king will never bow down to someone unworthy."

"But brother I am sure that if Merlin cant get he will dispose of you as you are the biggest threat in his world domination for world peace," said Oscar with a trace of worry.

Leo laughs "What bullshit of world peace are you talking about hahahahaha that was just his show to fool everyone because there is no such thing as world peace as long as humans exist greed will never cease to make war" and with that, he downed his glass of wine.

"But Brother-" before Oscar even finished speaking Leo said "enough of this I'm heading back to my room to rest" then he stood up and walked slowly into the darkness not seeing the mocking smile in Oscars face.

"My foolish brother its time for you to rest being the king now,hahaha you would have never expected me being an alchemist" and he downed his glass of wine and followed his brother disappearing in the darkness.

In an empty hallway a figure can be seen walking under the moonlight that is lighting up every step he made as if making a path for him.

The figure suddenly stop by a nearby mirror and looked at the peaceful lives of villagers and said "If I can just live my life just like how they" then a sudden dizziness hit him he massages his temples and said "I'm tired ahh being always chased and framed its too tiring to live a life like this, reaching the peak while being treated like this is really not worth it ahhhhh, I'm so stupid."

But as he was about to take a step he felt a sudden nausea and numbness of his body he tried to walk but his body suddenly fell down the floor twitching and as he was trying to stand up a figure suddenly appeared walking in his direction.

As the figure walks closer the moonlight revealed who it was and the figure twitching suddenly felt hope and said while struggling "Oscar help me quick!"

But his hope was instantly shattered when Oscar said "hahahaha look at you now brother the once as the king of assassins now twitching on the floor powerless hahaha this would have never happened if you just listened to me and pledged with Merlin."

Leo gashed his teeth and said "even if we're not related I treated you and raised you as my own flesh brother, why? How can you do this to me?" Oscar just laughs at him and said "If you want to blame anyone blames your self for thinking only about yourself, If Merlin really wanted to dispose of you who will he use as a hostage me? Or let's say he will kill me first before killing you, Brother you are not a god".

Leo anger turned into a gentle smile then he looked at Oscar and said "I see, I never knew you'd grow up much I never noticed hahaha, Thank you my and will always be loved little brother I'm glad you made the right decision this time" And with that his heart suddenly stopped beating completely.

Then Oscar suddenly rushed to his brother with tears in his eyes and said "I'm sorry brother but I've got to do this to survive, Thank you for all of your care and love that I can never repay, Don't worry I will never forget to avenge you" After mourning he gave his brothers dead body a proper burial and left never turning back again

And the whole world rejoice as the so-called evil king of assassin was finally slain.
