3 Altäir's Story

"So who you fought Altäir?"Aguilar said.

"Well I fought the Assassin's in when I was 50 years old ".I said

-But what happened to you to fight your brothers?

-It's a long story.My mentor was cursed by the Apple of Eden, he was planning to wipe out Masyaf village and the assassins in the castle.I killed him to save the people,but the conflict started after his death. I burned his body to make sure he doesn't return.

-Do you mean that he came out of his death.

-Many times yes; my friend Abass didn't appreciate what I did. He ordered his followers to attack mine, I tried to not kill anyone only disarming them.Abass showed up holding the Apple at high point as if he know how to control this weapon. It started to send it attacks. I started to climb on the structure where Abass was after falling several times from the Apple until I arrived to the top and took the Apple from his hand.It stopped attacking when I held it and he asked for forgiveness for what he did .

-Did he learned from this lesson?

-I thought that, but his head is harder than rock;he led the the brotherhood when I left Masyaf after the incident. After 10 years, I returned with my wife Maria to home,hoping that the people will be glad to see me;but they're not.

I walked in the castle a bit with her to where Abass was standing.

He insisted to give him the Apple until I planned to kill the Assassins around me.He ordered one of his men to take the Apple and he told me:"When I killed your son, I told him that you ordered the Assassins to kill him.He died believing that his father ordered his death."I put the Apple near his head, he fell immediately on his knees. Maria tried to stop me but that filthy guy killed her; I removed the Apple from his head and put it in my bag. I get out my blade and kill him with all strength,and escaped from the castle.

Darim my son was waiting on the gate of the castle; we killed all the Assassins that were standing in our, until we got out of the village and Abass told me that he'll have the Apple and my head for all what I've done to his family and his Assassins.

-But how did you regain their trust back after all what you've done to them.

- After 30 years, I began to be an old guy that can't climb properly;Masyaf changed a lot, I drunk some water from a group of Assassins sitting around a fire. One of them left when he saw me, while the others stood in their place and they told me that they hate Abass more than me because of his treatment to them like slaves.We planed to kill him an free the castle from his rules. They attacked the castle from behind I walked telling the Assassins the truth about Abass;I saw him, I kept my throwing knife ready,until he closed his moth and threw it at his heart, he felt dead.

-So that's how it happened right?

-Yes it is, I hid the Apple in the library close it on myself and died there according how Ezio saw it.
