7 Author's Note I

[Chapter Releases:]

In regards to releasing chapters, I will be mainly releasing chapters after completing an Arc, which should be about 5 - 7 chapters per arc. This is, for the most part, in order to avoid cliffhangers and ensure that if I have to go on hiatus, at least a significant portion of the plotline is covered for the present arc.

[Main Character:]

Erlend will be overpowered, there's no denying it. But he has to be subtle about it, he's not just saving Westeros, he aims to build a legacy for his children, and descendants, and he can't do that if everyone keeps sending assassins left and right on them while they're still weak and vulnerable. This doesn't mean he won't use magic, he'll definitely do so, and won't have any complications in silencing witnesses, at least not until the Dynasty is secure. Atitiude-wise, he won't be a paragon of virtue, he's a morally grey character and hasn't shied away from death as you've already seen and will see in the future

[Underused Abilities:]

Erlend is quite overpowered as mentioned before, but I've actually not gone more in-depth with his adaptability power, this will be showcased during Arc 4 and moving from then. Passively over the years, he's already passed Superhuman levels, getting closer to as divine as a body can get in the world of ASOIAF.

[ASOIAF or GoT:]

Primarily ASOIAF, but there will be a bit of GoT in it, I'll do my best to put to use the provided source material, but this is an Alternative Universe. So there will be my own spin on things, as for what they are... well you just have to keep reading.

[Love Interests:]

Four have already been confirmed, only one will actually get married to him, and she will give birth to his heir. While the MC could bend the laws, it would undermine the rule of his future heir. Most fics that tend to have their MC marry multiple women, seem to forget that they are leaving their Kingdom in a very chaotic situation after their deaths. Of course, just having multiple kids, means they're bound to be in conflict in the future, so Erlend will introduce both legal and magical means to avoid it.
