1 It all started with a simple message

Lin remember when she was seven years old, she was on her way back home after school when she saw a weak old man with pale white face.

She saw the old man waving his hands and shouting, but those who stand in front of him, seems to not see him at all. In fact, they are not even looking at him! Curious, Lin approached the man and asked him whether he needs help.

The old man seems to be surprised that Lin was able to see him but ended up quite relieved. He asked Lin for a favour and whispered with cold air into her ears, asking her to transfer his message to a man who was sitting with his legs crossed and his face in anger.

"DONT YOU WISHED FOR MY INHERITANCE, YOU UNFILIAL SON! I LEFT YOU NOTHIING!"

The man's face turned black and stood up from his seat and raised his hands at Lin.

"You bloody child! How dare you talked to me like that! Who do you think you are?" The man shouted at Lin.

Many hearded the commotion and was up to grab the man and stop him from slapping Lin.

Suddenly, the man screamed in fear and fell backwards. Before he faint, he was murmuring, "A Pa! A Pa! I know I was wrong! Please forgive me! Please forgive me!" He rolled his eyes and started foaming, eventually seizuring.

He was sent to the hospital and lin later found out from her mother that the man, A Heng was the son of the old man she met and that he abused his father in order to get the money his father saved for a lifetime.

Lin never heard from him after that but that night, the old man handed Lin a red packet and sachet. He spoke in a low and calming voice, " Dear child, you are gifted. Thank you for your help." and vanished.

Lin woke up with her forehead full of sweat and in her hands, she hold the red packet and sachet.
