6 Ch.6 FIGHT!
The muscular man turns around and sees Ember.
"It's Ember right?..."
"Yes I'm Ember, what your name, I'm new around here today my first time here at nexus"
"Sorry for the late introduction but I'm Joe and I'm the security for this facility"
"If your security then why didn't you get him off the training dummy"?
"The sign about the 30 min limit is not an official rule and put there as a generosity to people to share and don't hog"
(Ember) I see now that why Joe can't do anything about it and is only about to stop a fight from happening.
"Anyway Ember, are you really going to fight him?"
"Of course I'm going to fight him, I'm a man of his word and doesn't back out. Also, tell me more about him"
"Well to start off his name is Stan and this isn't the first time he has tried starting a fight with others, and I'm pretty sure you heard his ranking just a moment ago too"
"HEY LITTLE BOY, YOU SAID YOU WANT TO CHALLENGE ME?" *HAHA*
Joe whispers to Ember "I think you meant to mock battle him not challenge right?
"What the differences?"
Geeia interrupts… "Let me explain. A mock battle is like a free fight where nothing is bet but when you challenge someone you both put in something of the same value or something to agree upon"
"I see...okay I got it"
"YES I WAS THE ONE WHO CHALLENGES YOU TO A DUEL"
*HAHA* "LITTLE BOY GOT JOKES HE WANTED A CHALLENGE. YOU SURE YOUR NOT GOING TO GO HOME CRYING TO MOMMY FOR MONEY WHEN YOU LOSE" *HAHA*
The room was quiet in suspense waiting on Ember response.
"Ember maybe you should think this over"
"Thank for your concern Geeia but I should be more concerned about him more"
"What…?" Geeia was puzzled by what Ember said.
"Stan here my proposal to the challenge, the loser will never ever step foot into this training facility again"
Joe grabs Ember shoulder… "Your talking about getting banned from a facility and if you lose you will never be able to come back here again, plus there is only 3 training facility in this building"
"You two are a worried cat, like I said earlier, don't worry about me, worry about him"
Stan overheard what Ember said just now, "You talk big for a little kid who about to go home crying or worst might never be able to see home again" Stan responded.
"Ohh I can't wait to fight you in the arena"
"WELL WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR… LET GO TO THE ARENA"
"Come on Ember it still not too late to back out now or just do a mock battle"
"Geeia what did I say about a man word of honor?"
"Aww there no point to arguing with you, your thick dumb stone head doesn't listen"
"Ember this will be the last time I ask you, are you sure you want to go through this?"
"Yes Joe I'm 100 percent sure"
"Alright then give me your ID then please"
"What for?"
"To put you into the computer register you as the challenger"
Ember takes out his ID and gives it to Joe. Joe walks over to Stan.
"Stan do you agree with the current terms Ember just set on the table if so give me your ID please"
"Of course here take it… (takes out ID and purposely drop his ID) oops looks like I dropped it, you can get it right?" *hehe*
Joe picks up the ID and walks toward the front entrance of the facility and puts the two competitors in.
After a short moment, an announcement came over the loudspeakers which were announced throughout the entire Nexus building…
"ATTENTION ALL PERSONALS THERE HAS BEEN A CHALLENGE INITIATIVE DUE IN 1 HOUR FROM NOW HELD IN STADIUMS 1, OPEN TO ALL OBSERVERS TO WATCH. I REPEAT… ATTENTION ALL PERSONALS THERE HAS…"
"Wait Geeia, no one told me that this is going to be open view match…"
"Ohh what happen to... (trying to impersonate Ember) I am a man of his word blah-blah-blah crap huh?" *haha*
"Whatever I guess I'll just have to hold back in the match"
"What… hold back your ability for what reason"
"That doesn't matter Geeia let's go to wherever this stadium 1 is, your leading by the way I'm still new here"
"You will give me an answer first then we will go there…"
"Okay I guess I'll walk around and find it myself and ask for directions or just don't show up and I'll get an auto disqualification then bye"
"Fine… I'll lead but after you will explain okay…?"
"No promises"
Ember looked around for Stan but he was nowhere to be seen.
Ember and Geeia began there a way to the stadium leaving the training facility and into the long hallway. Ember and Geeia walked down the hall using the moving walkway, upon passing the woman bathroom Ivy opens the door moments after they pass the door.
Ivy looks around after coming out of the restroom and saw Ember with another female both talking to each other. Ivy fellow the both of them and notice that they were both going to the stadium.
(Ivy) Are they both going to watch the fighting… is this a dd-date. What am I doing following them for, it has nothing to do with me, just to be sure I'll follow them just in case.
Ember and Geeia went through a sky bridge that was connecting the Nexus building and the stadium which was next block over.
Upon reaching the stadium, it was huge able to hold over 50,000 people. Ember saw that the stadium had plenty of people at least three thousand people minimal.
"That a lot of people… did all the people from the Nexus building come to just watch the fight?"
"Of course not… most of the people are probably from around the street"
"Wait… you are saying it was broadcast throughout the city"
"Of course not dummy… it was announced inside the building and outside the front entrance of the Nexus building. Unless it a major event then it will be announced throughout the street and on television"
Ivy caught up to Ember and Geeia.
Ember and Geeia continue there a way to the preparation room. Ivy tries to follow both of them but lost track of them in the midst of the crowd.
(Ivy) Crap I lost them, where could they possibly go off to. I'll go and have a look around the stadium seat for them.
Geeia continues to lead Ember the way…
"This way should lead us to the preparation room"
Upon reaching the room there was a guard standing outside the prep room. Ember and Geeia approach the guard…
"Hey, we're here to check in…"
The guard takes out a tablet…
"Name?"
"Ember Hallow"
The guard looks down on the tablet at the picture and then at Ember to make sure there the same person.
"Okay you can come in"
Ember walks in but as Geeia walks in the guard stop her…
"Only participator can come in sorry mam"
Ember turns around…
"It's okay Geeia, you go and have a seat and enjoy the show"
"Okay see you in the arena and make sure to kick that ass out there"
"Of course I will"
Geeia walks back the way they came and goes toward the stadium seats. Meanwhile, Ember walks in and sees Stan already there inside.
"Hello there small fry"
Ember goes toward the couch and sits down.
"Hey, I'm talking to you brat…"
Ember sits down and closes his eyes and begins to gather energy for the match.
"Going to sleep are we, don't worry I'll make you sleep in front of hundreds of people"
-30 Minutes Later-
The guard from outside the door comes in…
"Your fight about to begin to start making your way to the field"
Stan gets up and leaves right away. While Ember still sits down.
"Sir, your match will-"
"I know just give a minute please"
The guard leaves and closed the door behind him.
Ember opens his eyes…
"Void Storage"
A black hole appears in front of Ember. Reaching into the black hole Ember pulls out a fox mask.
(Ember) This should hide my face. Now there shouldn't be any problem holding back.
Ember walks out of the room and the guard sees a mask on his face. Ember continues toward the battlefield and sees the tunnel into the arena.
An announcer comes out…
"WELCOME LADY AND GENTLEMAN TODAY WE HAVE AN UNEXPECTED CHALLENGE MATCH. THE TERMS OF THIS CHALLENGE WAS A LOCATIONAL BANNED AGREED BY BOTH PARTY. BUT WITHOUT FURTHER ADIEU. LET ME INTRODUCE YOUR COMPETITOR… A RANK 27, TIER C AND CLASS TYPE WARRIOR ITSSS- STAN!"
Stan walking from the tunnel into the arena stage. The stage got loud and started screaming out his name.
"OUR NEXT COMPETITOR IS…"
Ember walks into the stage without an introduction to who he was and walks up to the announcer. The stage got quiet and everyone was looking at Ember.
(Geeia) WTF is that brat doing and why is he wearing a mask.
(Ivy) Who the guy in the mask and why does his posture look so familiar.
Ember whisper at the announcer… "Don't include my name in the introduction"
"SORRY LADY AND GENTLEMAN BUT OUR SECOND COMPETITOR WOULD RATHER STAY ANONYMOUS ABOUT HIS NAME…"
"BOO" the stage got angry and started booing.
(Geeia & Ivy) What an idiot.
"THIS MAN IS RANK… AHH… 479… TIER F, CLASS NONE"
"HAHA" the stage begins to laugh loudly and so did Stan.
(Ivy) This guy got some balls to fight someone who is higher in the food chain than him, the match is already predetermined who already going to win.
"Continue to please announcer" Ember tells the man.
"NOW THAT YOU HAVE YOUR COMPETITOR LET BEGIN THE DUEL. THE RULES ARE SIMPLE, KNOCKOUT YOUR OPPONENT OR MAKE THEM SURRENDER. NOW COMPETITOR GET TO YOUR CORNER"
Ember walks towards one corner and Stan goes to the opposite side.
The announcer uses a levitate spell and flies away from the stage.
"3… 2… 1… FIGHT!"
Stan cast his magic spell and making his greatsword come out.
(Ember) Let test out his sword skills.
Ember cast his own magic creation and makes a spear.
Stan yells across the stage "WHAT A TRASH WEAPON OF CHOICE"
Ember gets into a sprint thrust stances waiting for Stans attack.
"READY OR NOT CAUSE IM GOING ALL OUT"
Stan cast body enhancement *STRENGTH* *AGILITY* *FOCUS*.
The stage got excited and watches Stan next moves.
Stan full sprint forward toward Ember. As Stan sprint forward he vanishes midway toward Ember-
(Ember) NOW!
Ember burst from his stance and vanishes forward into the middle of the stage, and Stan standing where Ember was. The fight was over in a second.
The stage was quiet and confused about what happened. Only a few people really saw what happened in a split second moment, where Stan was full power sprinting at Ember which made him look like Stand vanish for a moment but Ember was ready from the stances and also sprinted forward toward Stan but at the faster movement.
(Ivy) What happened…
(Geeia) Your one hell of a little monster isn't you Ember.
In the stage, Stan coughs out blood and collapsed to the ground.
The announcer comes back into the stage…
"AHH WE HAVE A WINNER, THE MASK FOX. WOULD OUR WINNER LIKE TO SAY A FEW WORDS…?"
Ember leaves the stage without saying anything and leaves the audience confused.
Geeia leaves view podium and heads toward Ember.
