"You heard the boss, hand all your money over."
Ember tried to think of something quick.
"Here all the money I have, just don't hurt the boy he sick and just recover."
Frey hand over all the money she had to the 3 robbers.
"Hurry up boy, where your money?"
"I don't have any money."
"Empty your pocket and we'll see if you have anything."
Ember empties his pants pocket and robe.
*ding*
"Look like we hit the jackpot men."
Ember didn't think that items from the past could travel with him.
"What a shiny emerald ring, this will fetch a fortune."
That the ring Ember parents give him to give to his future wife one day.
"Can I please get that back, it's really important to me."
*laughs*
"Haha… you want it back, I might give it back if you kneel on the ground and kiss my shoe."
"Nice one boss."
So the man in front must be their boss.
Ember slowly got down to his knees and bend over.
As he bends over, a sense of magic was active but doesn't know where.
"Ember doesn't do it, you can always get another ring."
"Shut it, old lady."
One of the robbers took Frey cane and she struggles to stand and leans the countertop.
"Give that ba…"
Before Ember could finish his sentence a magic enhancement was active.
The boss swings his leg back then at Ember stomach, sending him through the window to outside.
"EMBER!"
Ember can hear Frey yelling his name.
Wait that kick didn't hurt much.
Ember quickly realizes his body is still the same as before he travels here and magic does still exist in this world.
That kick was enhanced by his magic to give it more power.
Ember got back up and look around, there were people staring at me.
"Can someone call the guards here please, there 3 robbers inside."
A man responding…
"Do you mean police?"
Ember doesn't know what the word police was an act as he knew.
"Yes, that… and tell them they can use mag…"
(Ember) Wait should I tell them the 3 guys can use magic enhancement or is it not a common thing.
"Did you say they can use magic?"
"Ahh yes…"
Ember noticed the way the man said it as if magic was a common thing and didn't sound surprised at all.
"I'll call the NHQ right away."
Ember didn't know what NHQ was but hope it some nation guard clan.
Now Ember was sure that magic is a common thing at this time and age but does his skills stay with him when the time travel.

"Sir, we got a call about a robbery going at Krain Urban Shopping District about 3 robbers in a store."

A receptionist goes get on the radio…
"Attention all available C-Rank or higher officer we need at least 3 to report to Krain Urban Shopping District asap we have a potential Code Blue!"
(over the radio)
"This is Steel B-Rank, 4 minutes to site."
"This is Aria C-Rank, 3 minutes to site."
"This is Geeia A-Rank, 3 minutes to site."
"Thanks for responding, over"

"Hey, boss did you feel that presence?"
Ember walks back into the store.
"Did you come back for another whooping boy?"
"Turn yourself in, the NHQ will be here soon."
"Guess we can't leave any witness alive than."
The boss runs towards me full speed.
Ember quickly extends his arm outward toward.
"Nightmare"
The boss stops and looks at me.
"So you're a mentalist caster huh. It's too weak to work on me."
The other 2 robbers grab a bag full of money from the cashier.
"Let get-going boss we got the money."
"MOVE IT, LADY!"
Pushing Frey to the ground, the 2 men walk towards the door.
"OHH MY...ow ow ow."
The cashier walks around the counter to Frey.
"Let me help you, mam."
Ember got angry from seeing Frey push to the ground.
"Apologize for push Frey and return the money."
"Haha, you boys hear that he want us to apologize and put the money back."
The boss robber slowly walks toward Ember and pat him on the head.

"Be a good boy and die."
The man swings his hand back and throws his punch.
His hand swing to his face stopping 2 inches away.
"Boss is everything okay?"
"Something is stopping me from hitting this little trash."
Ember looks at the robbery boss in the eye.
"Mind Break"
"What did you say ki-"
Dropping down to his knees and looking down towards the ground.
"Boss what are you doing?"
No response…
"Boss…?"
The boss looks up at Ember.
"W-who are you… where am I…?"

"Sir, we detected magic at Krain Urban Shopping District, this time it's a bit stronger than before."
"How much stronger?"
"It's about 1.5 times stronger than before."
"Can we determine if it's the same person or two people?"

"Turn the warning to Code Yellow."
A receptionist gets on the radio…
"The event in Krain Urban Shopping District has been upgraded to a Code Yellow, I repeat Code Yellow."
"This is Geeia 1 minutes to site."
"This is Steel 1:30 minutes to site."
"This is Aria 1 minutes to site."
"Remember citizen safety comes first."

"Boss, what happen to you?"
The boss looks at the two-man confused.
"Are you talking to me, I don't remember being anyone boss,"
Both two man pull out their knife.
Both men extended their left hand out toward Ember.
A mark symbol on the back of their hands glows white.
Two snakes begin to emerge from the man's hand.
Both men yelling…
"KILL HIM!"
Both the snake fly through the air toward Ember.*swoosh* Both snakes evaporate 3 inches before hitting Ember.
"What happens to our snake?"
"Let me show you one of my spirit monsters."
Ember put his right hand on the ground…
"Arise"
Thick black smoke slowly emerges from the floor. Slowly one by one ghost soul emerges from the walls, ceiling, and ground.
*crack*
A small black crack appears in thin air. *cr-crack* The crack gets bigger by the second, a pair of skeleton hands pops from inside the black crack and grabbing hold of the crack. *crack* The hands pull the crack bigger… wider. *cr-crack-CRACK* The crack has become 10 feet tall from the floor to the ceiling.
The pair of skeleton hands stop pulling and slowly goes back into the black rift it open.
Ember looks at the two scared confused men.
*DING… DING… DING*
"Your death rings at your doorstep, will you answer it or wait for it to force itself inside?"
Both man shaking in fear.
*DING… DING... *
"Looks like your out of time to think."
Stepping out from the black rift a skeleton in a black robe holding a scythe in one hand and a lantern in the other hand.
"Behold the Reaper himself."

*SIREN*
"EMERGENCY SIR, we have an unknown entity in Krain Urban Shopping District and it's in the same spot as the robbery."
"What rank entity is it, we can check?"
"Running scan check right now sir…"
"Get every A and S rank officer and leader on…"
"IT'S GONE, SIR!"
The chief commander looks over at the monitor.
"What do you mean GONE?"
"It just disappears sir, but our scanner said that the entity was probably around an S Rank monster."
Radio control officer looks at the chief commander.
"Do you still want to call in all available A and S rank personal to the scene sir?"
"... it's fine to thank you"
(Chief Commander) Who is at the shopping district causing such a ruckus.
-Shopping Store-
Frey looks at Ember in shook.
"That enough Ember you can stop now, there no need for any more violence."
Ember looks at Frey and smiles.

"Don't worry Frey I'm not going to kill anyone, it was just for intimidation."
Ember snaps his finger, both Reaper and the rift portal evaporate into black smoke and disappear.
*DUMB*
"NEXUS OFFICER DON'T MOVE!"
Ember turns around seeing a female with brown hair, green hair holding a magic bow aiming toward him.
"I SAID DON'T MOVE!"
Ember gives off a little chuckle laugh…
"I think your misun…"
*SWOOSH-BOOM*
The stranger fires a magic arrow at Ember feet.
"The next one won't miss."
(Female Stranger) He didn't even flinch an inch.
The store lady runs up in front of Ember.
"STOP, the people you want are those three guys inside."
"Who are you?"
"I am the owner of the store"
The female stranger lowers her magic bow down and vanishing into magic particles.
The stranger brings her arm to her mouth and speaks into it-
"Geeia reporting in, the problem seems to be already been taken care of by some else."
(Chief Commander) "There was someone there that had some decent amount of power, can you see around if there anyone capable of being one."
Geeia closing her eyes trying to sense any magic emitting from anyone.
"I'm not sensing any magic sir"
"Is anyone there that look strong to you?"
Looking around the crime scene.
"There a boy, old lady, store clerk, and the robbers. But my best guest that look strong are the 3 robbers but they were defeat. I'll go ask the clerk who stopped the robbery."
"Okay, report back when you're done."
Another female and male arrive at the crime scene.
(Both person) "Hey Geeia"
"Hey Aria and Steel"
Steel looks around… "So who do you think stop the robbery?"
"I don't know but I'm going to ask the store clerk and meanwhile can you two take the 3 guys on the ground there back to HQ."
(Aria/Steel) "Yes ma'am"
Aria and Steel putting magic bracelet cuff on the three robbers.
Meanwhile, Ember and Frey continue with their purchase on their stuff at the counter.
"I'm giving you a 100% discount for stopping the robbery."
Frey *shock*
"N-n-no you don't have to do that, I'll pay for what I can get only."
"Please, I insist you take it."
"I don't know what to say… thank you."
"Thanks to your boy I didn't lose any money."
Frey *laugh* "hehe… he, not my son, I just happen to come across him on the street and tag along."
"Ember right…?"
"Yes?"
"Thank you very much, you are always welcome here and if you need anything in the future all you have to do is ask okay."

Ember and Frey grab the bags and leaves the store.
"Ember would you like to come over for dinner?"
Might be rude if I don't accept after all I have done.
"Sure that would be lovely"
Frey smile and both begin to walk home to Frey home.
Geeia goes to the clerk…
"Can you tell me who took out those three guys?"
"Ohh… the boy who was here earlier took care of them, I thought he was a Nexus officer like you guys."
"Sorry I don't know him, but he's maybe a new recruit I didn't know but did you get his name?"
"His name was Ember."
"Did he seem strong to you?"
Store clerk chuckles a laugh…
"Strong ~psst~ he seems like an S Rank Veteran to me even though he is so young."
"How so can you explain?"
"Well… he was able to withstand a strong kick to the body and out my window and came back inside like it was nothing, he was also a Spirit Caster and summon a monster that was very frightening."
"Can you describe how the monster look?"
"Of course, I still can't get the image out of my head. It was a skeleton in a black hooded robe holding a scythe and a lantern."

Geeia leaves the store…
"Reporting in… it seems that the boy was responsible for handling the 3 criminal, can you run a background check on someone name Ember around 15 years old."
"Good work Geeia we'll check on him right away, is there anything else?"
"Yes it seems that the boy is a Spirit Summoner, also run a database on a spirit monster skeleton in a black hooded robe holding a scythe and lantern."
"Seems like an interesting boy, we will run checks on the boy and spirit. If possible I would like to give you the mission to watch the boy movement and action, if you can't do it that fine will get someone else."
"I don't mind watching him since I don't have any plans for tonight."
"Thank you Geeia, I'll make sure to put in good word for your help."
"I'll report back in tomorrow afternoon on the boy, over and out."
