At the end of her line of sight, something odd at the alley's entrance interrupted her wandering thoughts.
In that corner enshrouded in dimness, clumps of nauseating black matter surged forth, seeping from the nearby ground and wall surfaces like thick grease overflowing from pipes. Amid the sickening sounds of oozing, the mud-like substances almost instantly began taking on human-like forms and cast hostile glances at Agatha.
"They really are relentless…"
Agatha couldn't help but let out a soft sigh, but her movements didn't hesitate for a moment—before the mud had time to fully coalesce, she had already raised her wand towards the closest mass.
