1 - The beginning

-General POV-

At the top of a mountain, a red-haired woman was standing there with a suitcase and binoculars while looking at a bus full of high school students that was driving on a mountain path. Suddenly, a voice came from a radio that the woman had on her waist.

"Everything is ready."

Then, the woman smiled.

"Start."

Booom-

And with that word, a part of the bus exploded and crashed against the side of the mountain.

After seeing that, the woman's smile grew as she started going down the mountain towards the bus.

-??? POV-

I don't know what happened. Everything was normal, we were going on a trip to celebrate the start of summer vacation, but suddenly, I heard an explosion and screams, and the next thing I knew was that the bus had crashed against the mountain.

I keep hearing screams but I can't focus on them. My whole body hurts like hell and my head is throbbing. Right now I am doing my best to stay conscious, but a sound takes me away from my focus, and with the little force that I have left I turn my head to the right and see a woman walking toward the bus.

When the woman reached the bus, she stopped, looked around at the students lying on the ground, and then started walking again toward a student in particular. It was a girl with black hair, although due to the smoke and dust I couldn't identify who it was.

While I was trying to identify both the woman and the girl, a group of people arrived behind the woman.

"Take her."

With that, a man took the girl and started leaving with the rest behind. But before the woman left I gathered my remaining strength and spoke to her.

"...help..."

The woman turned around with surprised eyes and an amused smile appeared on her face as she spoke.

"You are still alive, huh? Well, lucky you. Take him too."

And with those words, my consciousness finally slipped away.

When I opened my eyes...

'A different ceiling...'

I have always wanted to say that. But now seriously, where am I? I started looking around the room but with the sudden move, my whole body started hurting as if I had an accident. With that thought, I remembered what had happened earlier and tried to get up too quickly but the only thing I got was an insupportable pain.

"You should stay still. I will tell the doctor that you are awake."

I turned my head toward the voice and saw a boy that seemed to be about 15 years old, like me. He was dressed in some type of gray military uniform, with black hair and blue eyes, you could describe him as handsome. But the important thing right now is to gather information.

"Who are you?"

"Code 07."

What type of name is that? I need to know more about where I am.

"...alright. What is this place?"

"This is the infirmary."

Well, that is not exactly very informative, but now that I look around the room it looks like an infirmary. The whole room is white and there is several medical equipment.

"I will go and tell the doctor that you are awake."

"Ah! Wai-"

Slam-

But before I could even finish he had already left the room. I still have no clue where I am or who these people are. Could they be terrorists? Or an organization of some type?

Clac-

The sound of the door opening interrupted my thoughts and what I saw was a woman with a lab robe. The woman could only be described as gorgeous. She has honey brown hair and amber eyes. She appeared to be in her mid-twenties. She also has a good face and body.

"My my, you are going to make me blush."

"...who are you?"

"Fufu, call me Rebecca."

I was expecting another code, but it seems I was wrong. As if she could hear my thoughts she spoke.

"You thought my name was a code like 07 earlier right? Well, only some selected people have that type of name. But anyways, it is good to see that you are okay, Aaron."

With the mention of my name, my eyes widened in surprise.

"How do you know my name?!"

"Fufu, did you expect us to bring some random guy without knowing anything about him, Aaron Lynder? You lived your first years in Germany but at the age of 4, you moved with your parents and your sister to the United States. You have always been a good student and got to enter a good university."

How do they know all of that? I am getting more nervous every second I stay here, but again my thoughts are interrupted by her.

"But don't worry too much. We aren't going to do anything bad to you, yet. Right now your priority is resting and later you will meet with the Boss. Well then, have a good rest, Aaron."

And like that, she left the room, and even though I tried to get some answers, I only ended up with more questions. For the moment, I think this is some sort of organization, and this supposed organization knows about me. And this "Boss", who is he or she?

"There is no way of knowing right now, so I will go to sleep and get more answers when I meet the Boss."

Then, I lay down in bed and fell asleep quickly.

-General POV-

In another room of the same building, there could be seen two people watching various cameras, and in one of those cameras was Aaron sleeping, and in other was a black-haired girl that seemed to be unconscious.

"I understand why you took the girl, after all, she was the objective of the mission, but why the boy?"

The person who said that could have been recognized by Aaron as the doctor, Rebecca. And the other woman was the red-haired one that took Aaron and the girl.

"Well, there is no specific reason. It is just that several things about him made him quite interesting."

"...if you say so. I don't complain, he is cute."

"Anyways, I expect big things from him. When he wakes up again, bring him to me."

Saying that sentence, the red-haired woman got out of the room.

"Well, Aaron, if the Boss expects big things from you, I will do the same."

With that, Rebecca went out behind the Boss.
