1 Chapter 0 "Prologue"

"Under the light of Lumiere, you emissary of Darkness shall be eradicated!" The Priest chanted as he swung his mace towards the Undead Knight.

The Undead Knight retaliated by swinging his bastard sword, trying to block the mace coming in his direction.

*Clang*

Their weapon clashes and the sound of their weapon fills the room. A smile could be seen on the Priest's face.

"O' creatures of the dark! You shall return to where you belong, to the depth of darkness!" The Priest roared as his mace shone.

The Undead Knight could feel something wrong from how he saw the mace illuminates.

Before he could retract his sword, the Priest prayed once more.

"Illuminate!" The Priest's mace turned into a stick of light as it shone through the darkness of the creature's body.

"ARGH!" The Undead screamed.

The decayed hand of the Undead slowly fell, and a hole bore through his body as the light shone through.

Slowly, all his limbs detached from his body as he reached for the Priest.

"Th-thank you... Hu---" The Undead Knight said in a distorted voice. One could barely hear anything from his coarse voice.

"Rest peacefully, O' remnant of the Empire. Lumiere shall guide you to the afterlife!" The Priest made a praying sign as he approached the decaying Knight.

A light appeared on the Undead as his body dispersed; a blinding light filled the dark room.

A spirit appeared as the Knight's body dispersed, a gallant figure of once was the proud Knight of the Empire.

He smiled at the Priest while saluting; a few moments later, the spirit's body ascended to heaven.

Once room illuminated with a holy light, returned to once the gloomy room.

"This is a mere start, I swear on Goddess Lumiere's name. I, Gregorio Arbale, shall continue Father Xaverius's journey and find help from the other world, the remnant of the old Empire will soon rest as we eradicate the corrupt power in this world," The Priest proudly said.

He picked a few stones and pieces of debris, stacking them on top of the others, trying to make a grave as a sign honoring the Knight.

He pierced the ground on top of the newly made grave with the Knight's sword.

Continuing his journey, he opened the decrepit gate in front of him.

A monolith stands in the middle of the room, a blue crystal covered with moss and vines. Signs of the visit from the God of Time himself.

As the Priest approached the monolith, it glows...

The crystal vibrates, and the ground beneath the crystal starts to crack.

"By Lumiere name! What on Earth is happening?" The Priest panics.

The pedestal of jewelry pierced from beneath the ground, bringing along the monolith.

Runes appeared on the monolith, the ancient language of once the advanced civilization.

"Master... Your guidance shall bring forward the prosperity this turmoil-filled land had wished for long."

The Priest approaches the stairs formed from the glossy sapphire leading to the pedestal of the monolith.

"These runes... Part of it could be read by me, but I still need the help of Master's notes." The Priest said.

He reached inside his robe; he took a leather book. As he opened the book, the pages were all yellow and torn here and there.

"Il Iru---" The Priest stopped before he continued reading the runes.

"This isn't it... I need to read it with my language, not the origin runic..."

The Priest closed his eyes and kneeled, "Father Xaverius, guide me. O' Goddess Lumiere, shone my way!"

He prayed zealously for a moment before finally standing up and making a sign to finish his prayer.

He touched the monolith before starting to read the rune from the top.

"The thread of universe shall merge as one, two fate of the world intertwined, as the future approaches both worlds shall benefit and reap the fruit of each harvest."

As the Priest finished his chant, the monolith started cracking, and seven colors of the rainbow took turns shining from inside the monolith.

As it crumbles, the fabric of dimension ripped inside the crystal.

"My job is finally done... Master--- no, Father. Our duty has come to an end; I shall return to the Holy Land once again and guide the people once more."

...

With this, the prologue of our story comes to an end, witness as the fate of the two worlds collide.

Will it bring prosperity as it was prophecied? Or would the land be filled with more chaotic energy?
