49 Chapter 49

You split off from Norman pretty quickly. He ended being called to the Professor's lounge to deal with a few rowdy students, and left the search for you.

Growlithe led you through the school for quite a while, right down to the ground floor and then all the way through and out one of the exits. Once you got outside though, Growlithe perked up, narrowing his eyes and began to trot forward at a faster pace, leading you towards one of the gymnasium buildings, and around tot he back of it, where moments alter you heard loud shouting voices.

"Leave me alone!" one voice rose above the others.

Walking around the building with Growlithe at your side, the first thing you saw was three girls in the academy uniform, one, with bright red hair and the tallest in the centre, with two lighter haired girls flanking her.

They surrounded another girl, who you couldn't quite make it. And to make things worse, each of the girls had a pokemon at their side.

"No!" the red haired girl snarled to the one who shouted first, "I'm so sick and tired of watching you walk around this academy like you own the place. A talentless fat chested bitch like you doesn't belong here!"

The Vileplume at her side snickered, alongside the two light haired girls.

"Yeah," the smallest of the girls on the left leaned forward, "A loser like you that doesn't have any pokemon should just disappear!" the dark furred Persian at her side, mockingly purred.

The final girl, who had a snarling Nidorina by her side thrust her hand out and you caught sight of her pushing the girl they surrounded, "I'm sick of all the guys paying attention to you just cuz you have a pair of tits that belong on a Miltank," she shouted angrily, "We'll see how pretty the guys think you are when Nidorina is through slashing up that plain Jane face of yours!"

You saw the girl they surrounded take a hesitant step backwards from them, as the three pokemon began to crowd around the girl.

Your own lips began to pull back into a snarl, at the same time Growlithe's did. What disgusting attitudes!

"Get between them and blow them away with Dragon Rage." you ordered, biting back the rage building within you.

It wasn't time to unleash your own rage.

There was a surprised chorus of shouts as Growlithe bounded over and leaped over them, getting in front of the victim in the blink of an eye.

Then, before the trio of bullies and their pokemon could do anything, Growlithe rose his chin into the air and howled!

A massive cyan blue tornado of draconic energy swirled into existence in front of your pokemon and shot forward, picking up the three bully girls and their pokemon and tossing them through the air. The three girls got off lucky, being released from the attack at low altitudes, but their pokemon were shot out like bullets after taking the brunt of the energy within the attack and slammed into the building to your side, hard.

They fell limply to the ground moments later.

The cool thing about Dragon Rage, was that different pokemon had different ways of using it. Because it was the embodiment of the dragon typing, and dragon's generally had control over the main elements, it could manifest in any number of ways, and in the Growlithe line in particular, they could fire it off as draconic flames, or conjure a tornado with it.

It was really quite awesome.

When the tornado died down, and the bullies bounced to a stop, pitifully groaning at your feet you stepped forward towards Growlithe and got your first look at the victim, and who you supposed was May Maple, Norman's daughter.

Dressed in a loose white and blue skirt, and an airy sleeveless red top, she did look like she was dressed for travelling through the tropics. But then, Misty who was born and bred in Kanto wore much less in comparison, so you supposed there wasn't much room to needle about was there?

She was a pretty thing, lithe, but curvy, and rather tall, about the same height as you. Her lovely brown hair with two bangs hanging out, was covered under a red bandanna, and you had to admit it was an interesting fashion style choice.

The thing that stood out to you the most though, funnily enough wasn't her large, voluptuous chest, but rather a pair of startling, dark blue eyes that glittered like a pair of sapphire's.

Huh, no wonder the guys at this school were so eager for her attention. She wasn't the same type of beautiful as Giselle, who was a model tier beauty who looked like she belonged on fashion magazines, rather she was more off a down to earth, girl next door type of beauty.

And the look worked for it.

"W-what the?" she blinked in shock, looking at her bullies and their pokemon strewn about, before looking passed Growlithe who trotted up to you proudly.

"You're May right?" you asked, petting Growlithe as he stepped into line with you, "Norman's daughter."

"Y-yeah that's me," May nodded with a stutter, looking around still in a bit of bewilderment, "Why did you...?" she asked, giving a look around her again as her question.

You shrugged, "Your dad asked me to help find you, and their harpy voices were annoying me, I couldn't be bothered to listen to them go on and on about how jealous they are of how much better looking you are," you replied, "Plus, tensions are high enough between Kanto and the other regions as is, I wasn't going to let a bunch of idiotic rich girls make things worse between the regions because they were petty."

"Oh." May blinked.

"Yeah, oh." you chuckled, before giving a look to Growlithe and nodding at May.

With an affirmative bark, Growlithe bounded over, and before May could do anything, the large canine ran through her legs and caught her on his back, hefting her up into the air. "H-hey!" the brunette girl complained, "What are you doing?" she demanded, gloved hands fisting into Growlithe's fur to stop herself from falling.

"You seemed in a bit of shock," you shrugged again, smiling jokingly, "Plus, I wanted to see your reaction."

"My reaction to what?" May scowled, finding her balance on Growlithe's back and crossing her arms under her impressive bust.

"To Growlithe," you answered easily as you began making your way back towards the school Growlithe trotting along with May on his back at your side, "I'd heard you didn't have any pokemon and why from your dad. Was just curious if you were afraid of pokemon entirely or not."

"Oh!" May huffed, rolling her eyes, she sighed before shaking her head, "I don't have anything against pokemon in general, I just don't really care for them. I grew up around tons of pokemon that my dad has, that took care of me when I was younger, no way I'd suddenly be afraid of them just because of some stupid Tentacool group that surrounded me wanted to play when I was younger."

"You still want to travel though." you pointed out.

"Well yeah, I love travelling. Seeing the new sights, how different people dress, the local popular food, it's to die for," May answered with a shrug of her own, "All this battling and gym crap everyone is so hyped up for, it really isn't for me."
