18 The Gods

Helix Common Realm of the Gods. 

Sets PoV

All of the Overgods had gathered for a meeting on the helix. The meeting was about my defeat at the hands of a 'mere' human. I was at the centre of the council, which was in a circle save for one throne, which was a little further from the other and directly through the centre. This throne was twice as large as all of the others and was made of gold with dozens of wings sticking out from the side. All of the Olympians had appeared with the exceptions of Dionysus and Hestia. Zeus glared at me, thinking I wasn't worthy enough to be a 'lesser' Overgod.

Here's an easy way to explain the hierarchy between gods: (descending order)(obviously there are way more in each category)

Primordials: Ouranous, Nyx, Neith, Geb, Purusha, Chaos (these guys aren't gods and are above the Mobius class)

Greater Overgods: Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Ra, Vishnu, Odin

Mid Overgods: Osiris, Indra, Thor

Lesser Overgods:Me(Set),Horus,Demeter,Aphrodite,Isis,Agni,Apollo

Gods: Hermes, Sif, Loki

Minor gods: Hecate, Aclepsius, Babi

Neo gods: below the Mobius class which means they are normally celestial class beings and have copies of themselves in parallel universes, they are almost always mortals who were blessed with godly powers.

Either way, back to the present. Zeus glowered at me and then looked away, Ra just shook his head and went back to his conversation with Ameratsu, the old flirt. This meeting was only for Overgods and Zeus had called for it. "Now I know you're all wondering why I've set this meeting, it's to discuss Sets performance against that mortal," Zeus waved his hand and a picture of my battle against Aizen came up. "I've been thinking that Set should be stripped of his title as an Overgod, and be demoted to a minor god, no god should ever lose to a mortal, least of all an Overgod!" He rumbled. Many of the other gods murmured in agreement, Horus smiled at me no doubt happy about the situation I was in.

"Hey, why don't you guys forget about this, I'm not allowing you to demote Set," a smooth confident voice said. "Silence! Who dares to-, "Zeus stopped as he saw who was speaking.

"Well Zeus would you like to challenge my authority?" the voice asked in a tone that meant Zeus would get vaporized if he didn't agree. The person who spoke was him, the same being who had saved me earlier.

"Let me explain why Set lost, I amplified the boys power by a huge amount and drained Set of his power, that is why he lost, the purpose of this was to teach him and the rest of you some humility. This discussion is over. You're all dismissed," He said as he turned into pure light and teleported away.

I was rather shocked at his confession, it turned out he not only helped the boy against me but an A rank as well! I gave Zeus one last look and then teleported away. I'd try to take my revenge on him some other time. However all of the gods got the hint, DONT ATTACK THE MORTAL WORLD. That was his Unspoken order.
