13 Taking Down a God

Set walked away from Aizens charred skeleton somewhat pleased with himself.

"I showed him didn't I?" I said aloud to no one in particular. I then heard a crackiling sound and I looked back. The skeleton had started to heal its bones mended itself and the charred parts fell off only to reveal gleaming while bones. Then the skeleton starting from the feet started to cover itself with veins and arteries next came the nerves and then the muscles covered them the skin started to cover the entire body and the clothes regenerated themselves. Last came the head and when it was completely healed he just looked at me and said "Well it's been a while since I had to heal myself,of course I could have healed within seconds but I wanted to let you feel the taste of victory, seeing as you might never taste it again."

"You talk big, boy. But there's one big difference between us I'm a god and you are a mere mortal, it's just a difference of class."

"You're right. It is a difference of class." He said.

"Feel honoured, I will now turn into my true form that only a few mortals have ever laid eyes on." I felt my body heat up and glow as my facial features turned into that of the set animal. My sacred animal. I pushed out my hands and my weapon of choice an iron rod appeared.

"Foolish mortal an Overgod like me can destroy an entire galaxy if I put my mind to it, now repent!" The sky turned red from the hundreds of millions of chaos missiles I sent at him. He didn't even try to dodge. They all hit him,but after the first twenty or so missiles hit him he stopped healing. In fact the rest of the missiles had no effect on him at all! He just absorbed them and they became a part of his enormous amount of zen, that was so huge I couldn't even begin to comprehend it. Here I was bragging about being able to destroy a galaxy when he could easily destroy a universe or two.

He looked at me agin and this time his sclera was black and his iris was white. The sheer force of his zen was crushing me! Me, a god who was known for his power. The sky rumbled and dozens of lightning bolts came crashing down on me. My body was wracked with pain. I fell straight to the earth where dozens of metal blades erupted and stabbed me throughout my body. Then he pulled me to the sky with the sheer force of his telekinesis, and punched me straight into outer space.

"Like you said , it's a sheer difference in class," he remarked dryly.

"Now then it's time I nearly destroyed you, I won't kill you but I'll make sure you won't even think about challenging earth again," he told me in a serious voice that had no trace of humour in it.

I tried to attack him with my staff, which had enough force to cause several earthquakes but he shrugged it off like a pebble. He pointed at me and rays of pure light pieced through every inch on my body, only adding to my injuries. At this point I could barely even move. Out of nowhere a stream of asteroids hit me straight towards mercury. When I landed there in my own little crater the gravity on the planet pushed me straight down. I looked up for a second and there he was, he punched me right through the core and I came out on the other side.

"Alright enough of going easy on you, I'll finish this with the next attack" he said as he raised his blade and pointed it at me. I could not feel anything but fear, if this was going easy what did he consider a finishing move?
