12 Freya and Aizawa

"Why am I with you?" Aizawa grumbled when she noticed she and Freya had teleported to the same place.

"Shut up kid, it's not like I'm jumping with joy either." Freya responded sounding slightly peeved.

"You can't call me a kid, we're only one year apart."

"Quiet! Do you hear that?"

"Hear what? Oh wait I hear it now. What is that?!" Aizawa yelled as she saw the towering Aegis.

Aegis's were bad news as they were divine beings but were often unpredictable and were known to vaporise people for no particular reason. It's was rectangular in shape with a big blue eye in the centre which had a metallic ring surrounding it. It's two wings were made from goldenium which was a divine alloy with gold and other divine metals.

It peered down at the duo from the sky and slowly started to descend. The blue eye in the middle started to flash and gleam.

"Run it's going to attack!" Freya screamed to snap Aizawa out of her daze. It was Aizawas first time fighting against an A class monster.

"Don't worry an Aegis is pretty easy to handle," Freya tried to reassure Aizawa.

"I'm not scared at all," Aizawa replied defensively.

"That's the proper attitude," Freya said with a small smile.

"Don't you dare patronise me,"

"Okaaay, now you wanna beat this thing or not?"

"Let's do it."

Aizawa manifested her blazer, "come Korygi." And her blue coloured short sword manifested itself.  Freya on the other hand had already manifested her blazers which were two rings with sapphires set in them.

"Kay, here's the plan. I will make about a dozen or so super sharp ice lances, and you will use your ability to pull the aegis towards us and , my ice lances towards it, got it?" Freya told her patiently.

"Got it, I'm ready when you are."

"Well let's do it then."

Freya launched the ice lances towards the celestial beast and Aizawa swung her side in its direction the ice lances sped up and the aegis got pulled towards them just as quickly. The dozen ice lances cracked the metallic exterior of the aegis leaving only the fragile spirit inside. The spirit flew towardsD the sky before Aizawa could pull it to her blade.

"Well done kid, not bad" Freya complimented Aizawa.

"Don't call me a kid! What's gonna happen to the Aegis now?"

"It'll be fine an Aegis can regenerate the metallic exterior just from its spirit core."

"Oh that's good to hear, by the way when can we get back to the academy?"

"I just checked with Asahi there seems to be some sort of interference with the teleportals no one can use them, rest assured the tech division is trying their best to solve the problem, by the way the whole of Dubai was evacuated by someone pretty amazing huh?"

"Huh I wonder who it is , but more importantly I wonder how my idiot brother is doing."

"Knowing Aizen he'll be fine somehow, I guess it's lucky that we all got transported away from the danger zone especially for him, anyway while we're here you wanna do some sightseeing?"

"Sure!"

And the two girls walked of to the nearest tourist guide they could find.
