This story is about a boy named " SUN" that was born in a cultivation world where the cultivators were respected and admired as gods. Since the day he saw a cultivator fly away on his sword , he had made up his mind that one day he will also join their ranks but alas fate and life is never as easy and dreamy as one expects.

SUN was born in a normal middle class family in which there has never been a cultivator because the resources and background required were way too high for a normal family to achieve . Mostly the nobles or some geniuses that were selected by the elders of the prestigious families on a fateful encounter were given the opportunity to cultivate. But SUN's parents loved him a lot and for his happiness they were ready to go to any extremes. Every kid's martial talent was tested at an age of 14 but the fees was quite high and usually only they nobles could afford it . Somehow SUN's father managed the money to get SUN inspected for his Martial talent , when one of the prominent " Glory Sect " came for recruitments.

The talents were ranked in 5 categories.

Yellow

Green

Red

Blue

Violet

With Yellow being the lowest and Violet being the best.

INSTRUCTOR : All those that are below the age of 14 can come and get yourself tested if they have the token . The test is nothing but checking your aptitudes , all you have to do is place you hand on this Mystical Translucent Tablet . This tablet can judge which tier of talent you have .

THE TOKEN WAS WHAT WHICH WAS GIVEN BY THE CITY LORD TO THE CANDIDATES FAMILIES THAT WANTED TO GET THERE KIDS TESTED FOR THE SECT'S TEST .

SUN TOOK THE TOKEN FROM HIS PARENTS AND ALSO JOINED THE GROUP OF KIDS THAT WERE STANDING AND WAITING FOR THEIR TURNS TO TEST.

SUN was looked down upon by the other noble kids , but though he was only 14 at age , his mind was more mature than kids of his age . He realised the efforts of his parents and wanted to prove himself to be worthy of their unconditional love . One by one kids went to test their martial talent on the Mystical Translucent Tablet . Because nobles had fed their children with elixirs and medicines from the beginning , most of the kids had martial talent of atleast Yellow or Green rank. The 1st class noble family's son Wen Shao came to test his talent , he was too proud of himself and his background , he looked down on the other kids and was a spoiled rich brat . He touched the tablet and the Tablet turned to RED . This gave him a one more reason to look down on others , Sun ignored him and waited for his turn patiently .

Then came the chance of City lords daughter Xia , everyone was in awe in seeing such a cute and beautiful lady. She touched the tablet and it instantly showed Blue colour , everyone was happy but she did not let go of the tablet and the tablet slowly started changing colour and it became Violet . It was after 200 years that their has been a person whose talent was in Violet rank . Sun also saw this and was happy for her and her family.

The other kids also came to test , all the kids of 5 prominent families managed to pass the test but no one from poor background had managed to passed yet . SUN was the last to go to test ,  he was mature kid for his age , but still he was just a 14 yr old kid , he felt the cold gazes of the nobles that wanted him to fail miserably . He ignored them. and only concentrated on the opportunity in front of him . He touched the tablet but nothing happened ... the crowd of nobles started laughing and demoralising him and his family but Sun still had his hand on the tablet , he thought about the expectations of his parents and all the people that he loves and suddenly the tablet started glowing , but the light it gave was not seen ever . It gave a Yellow light but it kept on brightening till the tablet became gold and shattered to pieces.

All thought that because their has never been a golden light it must be just a yellow light and the colour changed a bit because there was some fault in the Tablet as the shattering of the tablet was also unheard of . But this didnt mean much to his parents , they were happy , because their son could now join the sect and fulfill his wishes.

No one knew what happened . Even the instructor was just the Inner Disciple of the Glory Sect . He did not knew what to do so he marked Sun as " Passed " with the other selected students . And announced that these children will be taken by him to the sect.

AROUND 30 KIDS HAD PARTICIPATED IN THE TEST BUT ONLY 7 KIDS WERE SELECTED INCLUDING SUN

INSTRUCTOR : We will leave after 1 hour , you all can go and say farewell to your friends and family .

SUN went towards his family and started crying. Seeing him cry , his parents also started crying. Thier tears were of both joy and sorrow . They were sad about the parting but happy about SUN starting to take steps towards his dream.

AFTER AN HOUR THE KIDS GATHERED NEAR THE TESTING GROUNDS AND WERE WAITING FOR THE INSTRUCTOR TO COME AND PICK THEM UP.

SOON THEY FELT FAST WINDS FLOW NEAR THEM THAT WERE COMING FROM ABOVE. AS THEY ALL LOOKED UP THEY SAW INSTRUCTOR ON A LARGE WHITE - RED BIRD .
