"Marcus, Xiao Mei. If you remember I'm Lieutenant Rick Garey, you can call me Rick. I just got off the phone with Admiral Kong, if you follow me, I will give you a quick look around."

"Rick, before that… I'm starving so if it's fine can we get something to eat before that." It was a few hours now, and ever since he got the Everlasting Soma, he had a hard time to eat his full.

Rick's phone started to vibrate, seeing that it is Admiral Kong he got up and walked away, then he answered it.

"Admiral Kong."

"Lieutenant Garey, there was a small change of plans. Your assignment is still to take care of Marcus and Xiao Mei, but it was decided that we will show them how our world is. So your new assignment is to take them to Gaia. If it's not a problem, they can stay at your house. The army will take care of all the expenses, and you will have more time to spend with your family."

"But…"

"There is no but, after they have their powers tested, you will take them to register into the population database and buy phones, clothes and all of that. I believe you will do great."

Going back he saw both Xiao Mei and Marcus finished their meals. He was gone for less than five minutes and what would take him ten minutes to eat was gone.

"Yes, it is s pleasure to talk to you, and yes I will wait. I'm sure Lieutenant Garey wouldn't mind me waiting here. Isn't that right?"

"We can get you a room to wait in." For some reason, Marcus had an impression that these two don't like each other. But that's none of his business.

They soon arrived at an open field, people in white coats moving around busily, and soldiers patrolling around the area. Soon both Marcus and Xiao Mei were plastered with some wired apparatus and asked to use their powers. They wanted them to go full out and hit a puppet made of metal that was standing in the middle of the field.

"What is it? That puppet." Asking one of the people in white coats, Marcus wanted to know more about it. Ever since they went off the ship, Marcus saw more things that he never saw before.

"Puppet? You mean that robot? It's a testing robot equipped with a lot of sensor's; it will let us measure the effect of your power. You don't have to worry about destroying it; it was made out of the strongest alloy in the solar system. You would have to send it to the sun to destroy it." The man answered him, but he still doesn't know what a robot is. But he said it would be hard to destroy… we'll see about that.

"Xiao Mei, they said that we wouldn't be able to destroy that puppet over there." Marcus went ahead and found Xiao Mei, he whispered to her and looked. Looked at the sadistic smile of hers. He knew that if this crazy woman hears that, she will do everything she can to destroy that thing.

And with no delay, she made her way to the puppet and stood in front of it. "Can we start?" She asked in an arrogant voice, standing there Xiao Mei looked like a fierce tiger that will shred your pieces if you move an inch.

"Yes, go ahead" with a nod one of the white coats gave the green light to Xiao Mei. Taking a big breath, she gathered her energy in the lungs, more and more until she couldn't hold it anymore. She leaned forward spewing flames from her mouth, her fire was sweltering, the heat melted the ground, while the flash assaulted the robot. The robot stood no chance and was almost completely melted.
