17 Hunters Guild

The capital city in front of Marcus was enormous, and he couldn't see the end of it as it extended over the horizon. Coming closer to it he felt oppressed by the size of the city walls high for hundreds of meter and thick for at least thirty. City walls of Hundred Temples city are nothing in comparison.

Entering the city, Marcus saw an endless sea of people; he used to believe that Hundred Temples city was busy. Now he understood how little he saw.

Because of so many people, the carriage slowed down by a lot, and it took an entire hour to get to the Hunters Guild headquarters. The building was much more magnificent than the one in the Hundred Temples city.

This was their objective in the capital city, Cheng Gang gave him a letter of recommendation, and with it, he will be given a chance to enter Hunters Guild training program at World Tree Academy.

It will make him able to fight multiple enemies at the same time because it didn't matter where they will attack from he can always counter. Additionally, every time he will be hit, the armor will deal some damage to the enemy upon contact.

The only problem is that after almost two months it's still not complete. He will need at least one more month to finish it. And if he wants to put a coil around it will take at least a year. This is because of the complexity of the pathway. It looks like tree branches coming out of his core and connecting to his skin. Since it had to cover his whole body, and currently, he finished legs, torso and half of his arms, with only the forearms and his head to cover. But those two will be unique; he will have to create a shape that won't cover his mouth nose and eyes, his forearms he wants to modify it so he can use them more actively for the offensive.

In his palms, he will create a semicircle that ends go to his knuckles. The effect will be that first he will be producing the rest of the circle with his energy outside his hands. He can already use it like this, every one of his punches will be able to destroy everything that it touches.

It may be a bit of exaggeration, but it will still be impressive. The lighting will be dealing damage with every contact that his fists make. But with his current control of energy, he is only able to create the circle at his knuckles. It will take him a long time before he can make a plasma sword.

Cracking his neck, Marcus calmed down his excitement from thinking about the future and focused on the entrance of the hunters guild.

Walking in, Marcus saw many people in armors or distinguished clothes, parts of spiritual beasts were everywhere, members of staff were checking their quality and negotiated the prices with the hunters.

At the very back of the hall was a reception desk, there Marcus saw a middle-aged man in simple clothes.

Not knowing what was going through guild leader mind Marcus started to get nervous. Is he going to reject him? Is he not good enough?

Opening his eyes guild leader stood up and spoke.
