In the next few days, Marcus stayed in the forest. Learning how to track was difficult, but with Es's help, he was getting better every day. During the first few days, he hunted many normal animals and rank one spiritual beast. After killing rank one spiritual beasts he collected their blood and absorbed the energy from within it. He decided that instead of settling in the city he will stay in the forest. Finding a plan of a tree-house in the library, Marcus made a list of what he needs. Taking parts from a spiritual beast, Marcus walked to hundred temples city.

Walking into Hunters Guild, Cheng Gang was not at the reception. Instead it a young girl, a few years older than him. Not bothering about it too much he walked up.

"Good afternoon, how can I help you?"

So much nicer then Cheng Gang…

"Hi, I want to sell some parts."

"Of course, can I see your hunter card?"

"Hunter card? Cheng Gang didn't say anything about it."

"Branch leader? Oh, You must be Marcus!"

"That's right."

"Wait a moment I will go get the branch leader."

What's with all the hustle? He just wanted to sell some things.

Soon Cheng Gang showed up.

"Marcus! We were worried! You haven't shown up for days, what happened?"

"I was just hunting."

"Just hunting? Don't tell me you were sleeping in the forest?"

Marcus just ignored the question; he had no idea of what was wrong with Cheng Gang.

Noticing that Marcus wasn't his question Cheng Gang give up. He needed to build a good relationship with Marcus if he wanted to send him to the headquarters.

"Show me what you got there."

Marcus took out two rank one spiritual beast pieces of leather and a bunch of fangs and claws. This was only a part of what he got, the rest he would use for practice in crafting. Ever since making his shirt making things became his hobby. This was also a part of why he wanted to build a tree-house.

"Not bad, you can get around 36 silvers for it, but since it's well processed, I will give you 40. What do you think?"

"Deal."

"Perfect, give me a second, and I will take care of it."

Ten or so minutes later Cheng Gang came back with a small pouch and a card.

"There you go. Here is your hunter card as well, it shows that you are registered hunter and will make it easier for you to sell in any branch of the hunters guild."

"Thank you."

Leaving the hunters guild, Marcus walked for a while, and after asking for directions multiple times, he found a small blacksmith shop, where he spent almost all of his money. A proper knife, ax, nails, and other tools he will need to process wood. With this, he went back to the forest.

Days went by and soon a month passed. During this month Marcus did many things. First, he finished his house, hidden high in the crowns of trees it's spacious enough to fit in a bed and allow him to store all of his possessions. During this time he also went to the city many times, and met with Zhi Ruo and Cheng Gang as well as bought many things that he wasn't able to make himself. But his biggest gain was his strength.

All of his stats rose, thanks to spiritual beast blood his body became stronger. And because of his daily practice, his energy was steadily rising. Es also explained to him many things, such as how people rank their strength in this world. They start at Dantian nourishing, it has nine stages and in each of them they will strengthen their Dantian and gather Qi in them, it's similar to his core but unlike his core, it required a very strong body to hold. So to advance further they have to strengthen their physical bodies. The next stage after Dantian nourishing, was Body reconstruction, which also had nine stages where the practitioner had to completely remodel their body in order to hold greater amounts of Qi. However to accomplish this feat they needed a large quantity of Qi already stored within their bodies which is why it came second.

When comparing himself to others, he has many advantages as well as disadvantages. His powerful attacks don't require any complicated techniques or rigorous training, for the defense he could surround his body with lightning, and if someone comes near they would get hit. But in a direct fight, he would lose to a Dantian nourishing stage two expert. This was a huge flaw that he noticed yesterday, and because Es taught him to first try to find a solution himself, he spent hours before realizing he can just look it up in the library!

In there he found many ways to do so, but one that fitted him the most was the Divine Body Modeling. After getting a confirmation from Es, Marcus went ahead and found the manual in the cultivation section.

It was… complicated, it had so many steps he wasn't able to read all of them in one go. Compared to Basic energy gathering (lightning) and Energy wave scanner it was a nightmare. Just reading it gave him a headache.

Not sure if he should continue, he went back to the library…

Going back to the divine body modeling manually he again started to read it. The very beginning required him to absorb the energy from the environment, sensing it was not the problem, he could do it from the day sir Ethan give him Es, but since it was so small when compared to the void dimension, he never paid any attention to it. But since his own energy couldn't be used for this technique, he just had to go with it.
