1 Prologue

January 2020

As the sunlight stream gently, cold winter wind blowing, and the flowers blossoms on this day, a man dressed in a simple long white shirt and blue jean is walking in a park surrounded in both side by trees reading the latest manga chapter of 'One Piece'.

He is a handsome man with a short black hairstyle as David Beckham, not too thick eyebrow with sharp eyes. His name is Sky Embra, an IT manager with decent pay who lives alone in an apartment. Closing the book and sitting on the nearby bench, he muttered,

"Man, that was epic.. journey of Roger and Oden... Laugh Tale huh?... I really want to know why you would say like that? Well, that's not my place to ask anyway... Arr...a I also want to go on an adventure... Hm? What is that? " (Embra)

He just finished reading the manga and muttering but he suddenly stopped and looked beside him as he saw something in the corner of his vision.

"Hm? Did someone forget? Hmm.. there is no one here..whatever, let's hand it over to the police.." (Embra)

What he saw is a book with a little dusty leather cover, rope wrapped around it. So, you can say that it is a book, no, a diary at that. On the leather cover is a symbol he hadn't seen it before. He exclaims his thoughts out loud,

"What a gorgeous symbol! And it is good to hold too. It must've been really expensive . Well, come let's get you to the police station.. so, your owner can get you.." (Embra)

He picks up the diary, warps the rope, and goes to the nearest police station to give the book to L&F Dept. (Lost and found department). The sun is getting low and he went back to his apartment before buying foods for dinner.

The apartment has 1 huge living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, and 1 bathroom. Though Embra is living alone in this apartment, it has enough space for a family of four people to live. He showered and read manga on the sofa with a cup of green tea after having dinner he made himself. As he is about to turn a page, the electricity goes out and he can't see anything suddenly...

"Hmm.. I didn't hear that electricity will go out tonight.. I hope it is not long. " (Embra)

Complaining, he walks up to the window and is about to open the curtain to let the moonlight in. But then, he heard a sound, more specifically a sound like a bird flapping its wings. He turns back and sees something or rather someone unbelievably beautiful with white wings...

'Can I marry you?' (Embra's thought)

Is the first thought he had in his mind when he sees her. Straight flowing blue, platinum hair, thin eyebrow, and mesmerizing eye that seems like gazing at a clear blue sky with curves at right places, wearing a white dress with blue rune pattern at the edge and accessories across it. She wears a necklace made of a sliver small chain: in the middle is a large blue crystal-like object that is deemed to be made for her only to adore. An angel with the appearance of a Chinese young lady in the middle 20s...

"Hmph.. How rude, is it the first question you should ask when you see someone the first time..? Well, considering it is the great and beautiful me, there is no helping, is there..Ha.."(The Angel)

She puffs her chest and says with pride in her tone.

'Wow... Angelic. Wait. she is an angel. She is pretty.., I think I'm falling for her'. (Embra's thought)

But, he suddenly gets a sense of Deja Vu..(He just read the last chapter of 'Seven Deadly Sins'). He coughed to gather the scattered thoughts and concentrate on the matter at hand.

'I can no longer hear the car horns or any noises. It is really quiet in here. What is this? Supernatural event? FOr now, let's tread lightly. Priority is to get out alive.' (Embra's thought)

After thinking about the situation and forcibly getting himself used to the unknown situation, Embra thinks of the best way he can get out of this alive.

"*Taking a deep breath* So, what can I do for you, beautiful angel..?" (Embra)

He smiled and asked her calmly.

"Wow, you are taking it easy huh?"(The angel)

Amused by the emotions of the human in front of her, the angel asked.

"Well, duh even if in the off chance that you came here to take my life, I would gladly concede without question. In fact, all I will ever feel for you are gratitude for freeing me from this boring black and white life." (Embra)

'I mean. Looks at those feathers... I don't have a holographic device in this living room and this.. aura? She feels so divine too. I am just a normal human with no special power anyway.' (Embra's thought)

"Ho. ho. That is new. Why? Why do you think like that? You do know that there are people more miserable than you, people, who are envious of your current life exist somewhere out there, right?"

"Of course I know. I maybe not the poorest but I also am not the richest but what I mean is this life, you know, is meaningless to me. All I can see in the end is the same boring ending like other people. I want to travel, see the beauty of nature in its glory, and if possible, I want to meet with someone who can truly understand me, someone who will stay by my side.". (Embra)

The angel read Embra's thought and see that he is not lying when he said, he is not afraid to die. She is interested to see that the human in front of her is not afraid to die, or rather, feel pleasant about it. So, she asks a question to know him better as Embra, who has the mindset of not afraid to die, piqued her interest.

The angel P.O.V

I arrived here to retrieve something that do not belong in this lower world and I took it upon myself to personally come and get it. What I saw surprised me as I saw ' this thing' had already decided its owner.

I searched for the owner and soon found him in this small apartment. My first impression is a simple place to live in. I see nothing of value here except for a family photo of four. And there he is, reading a book and drinking tea. I can almost see the silhouette of an old man. Maybe just my imagination...

Time to meet him with. Be awed, mortal. First of all, [Isolate Space], so no one can notice what is happening in this little room. This is still his home but, he is disconnected from the outside world now.

I unfurled my wings in its full length. And last not but least [Parade of an angel]. A skill granted to the high-ranking angel, scattering shining feathers, made of divinity, randomly in a certain radius of me. It is also my favorite skill.

*Hmph..* How is it mortal.. seeing the divine aura of this great me. Are you going to worship me?

"Can I marry u?" (Embra)

Ha, ha.. of course you shall wor..ship.. me ....?

*Stare*

Did he just... say .. ' marry me '?

This mortal...

What a rude thing to say. Is your heart that full of lust? *Sigh* Every man.

After a brief conversation with him, I become a little interested in him.

'Same boring end as other people huh?'

Curious, I asked him,

"Then what do you want to do? What are you desire ? Tell me."(The angel)

He answered something I didn't expect. I thought he would wish for Money, an artifact to hypnosis people to do his bidding or an absurd skill. But he answered...

"I want to see something that I have not seen. Travels to places I have not been to and if possible I want to travels to places that people can only imagine." (Embra)

*Curl up my lips* Oh? Didn't expect that.

"Places that can only be imagined huh? So, you want to travel to imaginary places? Like in books? Do you desire to be a protagonist of some story?" (The angel)

"Hell no, I just want to be a bystander and witness the legends, stories, and if possible live under the same sun as them. " (Embra)

Oh? Look at him, exaggerating. *Smiling* Hm. This might not be bad. I am not proficient in memory reading but, as far as I can see in his memory, he is interesting. Alright then. I am bored anyway. So, how about this.

"At first, I am here to kill you, or rather, take your soul out from your body and take the item bound to your soul but I changed my mind... If you truly want to do what you have just said, I will give you a chance." (The angel)

P.O.V changed

"You are going to do ...What!!! .. wait ..A Chance ?" (Embra)

Embra was scared out of his wits by the words that the angel in front of him said casually. In his mind, he is thinking about how it would have felt for his soul to be ripped apart. He shakes his head and focuses on her again.

"Yes.., that book .. I will give you that in exchange, show me something that is not boring... "(The angel)

"Whatever book are you talking about?" (Embra)

"That" (The angel)

At first, Embra is confused but, he feels something in his body as soon as the angel points her finger at him. He feels something come out of his body.

'Woo .. that's weird and sick .. wait isn't that diary I left in the police station what is it doing in my body?' (Embra's thought)

Looking at the floating diary in front of him, he remembered that it is the diary he left in the police station. But, before he asks something, the angel speaks first while looking at him straight.

"I will give you this book. This is a book that contains a power or accurately, a system I made as an experiment but it is a failure as it didn't live up to my expectations and I threw it away but my dear subordinate is nagging me that I should find it as it fell on a mortal world. And here I am to take that book but after hearing you and your thoughts, I changed my mind. So, instead, I will give you this book." (The angel)

"... Wait. If I am not wrong, you said something along the line of 'a system' ?" (Embra)

Unsure of a word he thinks he heard, Embra asked the angel to be sure.

"Yes but it is not som-." (The angel)

The angel answered matter-of-factly but, her words were cut short by the sudden exclamation of Embra.

"NANI !!!! Is what you said the truth?" (Embra)

Embra exclaimed out loud and he unconsciously came closer near her face.

*Closing her ears with a finger each in and backing off*

"Shut up and get away from me, you ignorant fool" (The angel)

The angel backed off and said with a stern voice while looking at him with daggers in her eyes.

"Sorry, That was rude of me *cough*" (Embra)

Embra also backed off and smiled embarrassingly while scratching his head.

' Wow.. she smells amazing... Is that Lilly I smell..?' (Embra's thought)

But, in his mind, he is thinking about the natural floral scent he got when he gets near her.

"Of course You are.. how excited can you be to shout so loud like that?" (The angel)

"Come on! It is the system... Since I have read about it in novels across the Internet , I have always wanted one." (Embra)

Embra answered honestly to his feeling. Although excitement can be seen clearly in his eye.

"That means .. you will take it?? Are you sure?" (The angel)

She felt doubted that the man wants something that simple, something that is a defective product to her. So, she asked him again to be sure.

"Never been sure than ever.., my lady." (Embra)

"Very well, I, Keinnayi Dewi, one of the guardian goddess and keeper of Universe ***, creator of the book, hereby recognize, Sky Embra, as the owner of "The guide system" . Do you swear to never abuse its power, Sky Embra?" (The angel)

"Yes, I swear" (Embra)

Not understanding all of them but, clearly excited at the angel's serious words and the fact that he is going to get a system, Embra answered with respect and put his fisht on his heart.

"Good, then, from this moment on till the book is extract out from your soul, it is yours to keep."(The angel)

The angel made a hand sign of pushing the diary and it went back towards Embra's body.
