23 Chapter 21 : As a mortal (3)

I and Lady Keinnayi are cleaning the penthouse before lunch. Seriously, this is not an easy work to do. Luckily, we finished doing house chores just before 1 p.m, a perfect time for lunch. Today lunch is fried noodle with shrimp and a couple of side dishes. Simple as it may sound, for the two of us, this is the best choice. After lunch, we two are laying down on the couch, resting.

Lady Keinnayi complains about how she is beginning to used to this that it is not bad at all. I have to disagree a little bit but, well, what kind of subordinate will I be if I cannot even do what my Lady can do. I reminded myself again while lying down on the couch and listening to the music show on the television.

Soon, Embra messages us that he is coming back. I wonder why, though? Usually, he comes back at 4 in the evening. Not half an hour later, he arrived and there is a huge smile on him. While the two of us are looking strangely at the widely smiling Embra, he suddenly jumps. He is doing a weird dance unfit for his age that we two unconsciously hug each other. We doubt for a moment whether the dancing Embra is the same as the Embra we know. Did he eat something strange?

Anyway, after calming him down, he looks at us strangely and shows his usual smile, the Joker Smile. I really can't get used to it. It sends me to chill whenever I see his smile. I thought I get used to it but..,

"Finally... Finally. One of the three things I ever wanted to do. The second most item: Getting my hands on Nuclear technology. At last, I am gonna get my hands on the nuclear technology that no one has discovered yet. Keinnayi, Sethar, I am gonna be busy for the next few months. So, I deposit a few hundred millions to your cards and order the three maids, Hanako, Sachiko and Chie to come here. If there is anything you want to do, just tell them. Alright?" (Embra)

Well, Well, Well, the most dangerous man in this world is going to get his hands on nuclear technology? Oh, dear. Be that as it may, we do not have the right to stop him or say anything to him. So, all we could tell him is to take care. For that evening, we three go shopping and eat dinner outside while relaxing as we can. And, early next morning before the sunrise, we go to the airport together with him.

This time we are driving customized 'Defender 2021', his taste. As usual, we wait among the planes and when we see his plane arriving, we drive as close to the plane as possible. The three maids come down from the plane and greet us. It is been a while seeing them, so, we talk for a few minutes while Embra is organizing his things on the plane.

Half an hour later, Embra finished with his preparation and the plane takes off. For a moment, I think I saw a lonely and worried face on Lady Keinnayi, who is looking at the plane. But, it was just for a moment. She immediately turns to the three maids and ready to go home, like the previous expressions are a lie.

"Sethar, what are you doing? Let's go home. You are driving, okay." (Keinnayi)

Well, this is not the time nor place to ask Lady Keinnayi. I will ask her at a later time when it looks appropriate. I get on the car and was going to drive but, Hanako informs us that there is a perfect place nearby if we want to view the sunrise. Lady Keinnayi immediately agrees and now, here we are at the airport rooftop decks. We spend a bit of time here talking and enjoying the sunrise that before we know it, it is almost 7 a.m in the morning. Time to start a new day.

A month passed by in the blink of an eye and today Embra calls us to visit the UAE countries if we want to. He said he will meet us there. Immediately, Lady Keinnayi prepares for the trip. I and the three servants also prepare for the trip after informing the administration office at Embra's island 'Rain' that we will be absent at the work for a month.

We have been working from here by using the stimulator rooms that are built at this penthouse since the new year passed. Of course, if we want to, we can quit our work too. We already have a few hundred million in our hand but, Lady Keinnayi refuse to quit and so, we have been working. But, hearing the trip, she immediately prepare for the trip that I am a little surprise.

Eight hours later, at 11:00 p.m, we arrived at the airport. A new plane is waiting for us and it seems it is Embra recently bought this. The interior is so spacious and luxurious that there is even a dining room and a spa here. We could not deny Embra's goodwill now, can we? So, we enjoy all the luxury on the plane without holding back. It seems it would take us more than ten hours to get there.

Next morning, we arrived in Dubai before noon and there is already a woman guide waiting for us at the airport. We first take a rest at the hotel till the afternoon. When we get out, the guide is already there to take us around the city. We take her offer and for the whole afternoon, we go around places looking around and buying a few things. I think I am gonna like this city because nearly all the cars here are sports car. That evening, we bought a car to drive around the city and customize the car for a few changes.

It seems the car's security will be upgraded and few new security will be installed including bulletproof glasses and other stuff. It is definitely Embra. *sigh* Because the car will only be ready by next morning, we are driving around with the 'escalade' that Embra prepared for us. It seems it would take us a few more days before we can meet with Embra. I am not particularly looking forward to it but, it seems Lady Keinnayi does.

That night before dinner, we are contacted by the administration office from 'Rain' Island about the car we left at the Island and Tokyo. It seems all the car are ready to transport to Dubai and she is asking us which car we want. It is the great news for me but, not so for Lady Keinnayi. Well, I am a fan of supercar and sports car. But, Lady Keinnayi is just opposite of me. As long as the car is safe, quiet and comfortable to ride, she is all for it.

So, I chose my Lambo that I myself customized after learning about the cars in the car workshop. I have to left it on the island because it is not safe to drive around Tokyo in that car. But, now, I will get to drive it again. Yay. Lady Keinnayi chose the Maybach Exelero that Embra customized for her especially. That car is also left on the island because of the circumstances.

Now that we will get to drive or ride them again, we are in a good mood when we go to bed. Next morning, we get to the factory, a little bit outside of the city and get our car. Hmm... I thought this yesterday when we were buying this car but, now that it is been upgraded, it is cooler than ever. The car in front of us is 'Karlmann King 2021' that has been upgraded around the exterior for bulletproof and armour.

The exterior design immediately attracted me while Lady Keinnayi is expecting for the interior. Well, as expected, the white and gold interior is more luxurious than my imagination that I mistake for a second whether the interior is made purely of white gold. As big as the car is, there are only two seats for passengers and combined that with two seats in the front, there are only four seats with little to no room for packages and travel bags at the back.

But, the two seats behind can transform for us to lay down and we can put the luggage in another car, so no complain here. Lady Keinnayi ask me to drive this now and without further ado, I drive the car around while Lady Keinnayi sits at the back. After a few round of driving, we come back and the manager at the factory ask us whether we need any adjustments. I tell him a few of my idea but, Lady Keinnayi is very much satisfied it seems.

The car is resistant to heat and great crash test too beside the luxury interior. There has been something bothering me so when I ask Hanako, I get to know that Embra wants us to drive this to next city where he is. So, we have to drive this for a long journey? Hmm... I have not driven a long journey before. So, it is not a bad idea I think.

To prepare for a long journey, it seems the two cars, Escalade and Karlmann, will go through final preparation. So, at the earliest, we will depart at night. The two cars from the island will also be also waiting for us at the destination. So, no problem here. We got a substitute SUV for a day from the factory while our cars are being prepared. So, we went shopping, mainly for the long Journey.

Finally, a call from the factory come that the cars are ready. We were sleeping for two hours in preparation for the journey and as soon as the call comes, we checkout from the hotel. After giving the substitute SUV back, I and Lady Keinnayi get into Karlmann while the three girls get onto the Escalade with the guide woman. I drive at the front after confirming the road we will take. Now then, let's start this long night journey.
