32 Them again?

Them again?

After having short fun sightseeing and buying snacks for my siblings, we finally arrived at the entrance of New Dawn College.

Just like others, it followed the medieval trend.

But what confused me though, was the appearance of the school building that I had to ask lily if we were in the right location twice.

Because what I saw was not a school building, instead it was a f**ck*ng castle palace.

What extravagance.

And here I thought I was already living the life of a salted fish.

'It appears am still naive to think am already rich', I shook my head as I thought of this.

"Adrea?" lily called me.

Turning my attention to her with my brows raised, I asked her why she called me.

Replying me with her right hand pointing in one direction, she asked in an uncertain tone.

"Is it just me or do they look like Chris and Christina?"

Hearing the familiar names, I looked at the direction she pointed at.

Straining my eyes a little just to be sure, I realized it was actually Chris and his sister.

Chris again?

At first, I was planning to ignore their entire existence since I did put my nose into his personal matters, and it's weird to meet eye to eye with someone who spoiled your whole plans because of busy body.

'But you can't blame me!!!!, THE SYSTEM TEMPTED ME WITH A MISSION!!!! AM HUMAN, SO OF COURSE, I WON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOUR OPINION IF AM BENEFITTING!'

As I was having these useless and unmeaningful thoughts in my head, lily hit me with her elbow, hinting at me with her eyebrow that Chris and his sister were coming to our direction.

A little confused as to why he would come to our direction when we were somewhat enemies, especially I that flopped his plans, I was a little suspicious.

When the distance between us was only a little less than 2 meters did he stop and looked at us with an emotionless face.

Giving him the same emotionless face, we stared at each other like we having a staring competition but I was already on the losing side from the beginning.

This guy looks is quite creepy from the way he stares at me.

At first, I was able to bear it, but I couldn't bear it seconds later, as I was about to ask him what's up, I sense another person coming to our direction.

Using this opportunity to ignore Chris's existence, I looked at the new intruder.

A youth that appears to be 16 years of age at most, and power level at the peak of bronze mortal, came to our direction, and when he was close enough, di he speck.

"Good day juniors, I assume you guys are here for your registration right?" He asked.

After finding out the new intruder was actually a senior from the school, Lily, Chris, Christina, and I all answered him with a yes.

It was easy to guess his identity since he came out of the school gate, but because he was not in uniform, he didn't appear to be a student studying here.

"Great, then let's go. With you guys and the other ones that were already here, you wouldn't have to wait for long before you get registered." the senior said.

Nodding our heads to him as a response, we followed him in.

Using the opportunity to observe the surroundings when I was already in, I noticed that the school was quite deserted.

Maybe because he noticed me curiously observing everything, the senior took it as his responsibility to kindly explain.

"Am sure you've noticed the school looks quite deserted now. That's because every student is either completing the mission they've been assigned to or are hunting," he said and continued. " And besides, it's the end of the semester, not everyone will come to school when they have something to do", the senior said.

Nodding our heads again to tell him that we understand and saying thanks, we continued following him.

Since the school compound was quite big, the distance was long, fortunately, I had my siblings and lily to help relieve my boredom, while Chris was talking to his sister.

Now that I think about it, I couldn't help but ask lily a question.

"Lily", I called her, "Just asking, Chris and Christiana, are they twins by any chance?" I asked.

"Yes they are", she answered me.

Cleaning the doubts of them being step-siblings or twins, I looked at my siblings.

Though they had a lot of fun and spent quality time with me today, they were quite tired.

After all, they're just kids, they need to rest.

"Don't worry, according to my father, the registration process doesn't take long, so we should be able to go home quickly and let your siblings rest", lily said to me.

It was then we stopped in front of a building.

"Let's get this thing done with", lily said and we made our way in with the senior.
