6 Chapter 06 - Ancestral Aura

Le Chang's body was covered in a blue flame.

'But... How?' Thought Seiryuu, perplexed by the vision in front of him.

'It should take months to get some results...'

The Path of the Dragon God was divided into five parts, each corresponding to one of the five transformations of the elements.

Dragons were divine beings who possessed an intelligence far superior to that of humans.

While humanity was fit for one or two transformations, with rare exceptions for some geniuses who had aptitude for three transformations, the Dragons were able to dominate the five and thereby achieve a supreme power.

'That's impossible.' - Seiryuu.

Le Chang should only be able to use one of the transformations in the 7th Degree of the Dao of Integration, but there he was with his body wrapped in a dark flame without even letting burn his clothes.

'This boy... Who is this boy.'

Two more days have passed...

Le Chang calmly opened his eyes and a small transformation was visible in his body.

His eyes before honey color had slight shades of red, his hair was black as the night sky, his body emanated a slight pressure, like a sleeping dragon.

His white skin glowed due to the blue flame, the air around him was extremely warm.

"How did you manage to do that?" Seiryuu asked Le Chang astonished.

"I don't know... I just felt the Inheritance as if it were my body... It took me ten days to find a way to control it, so at the end of this period I felt an energy running through my body and tried to channel it to my Qi Core." – Le Chang

'Can he feel the power of Inheritance being in the Integration Dao? Only people in the Dao of the Spirit can feel it. Heritage is like the Spirit of a Magic Beast, it's your life... Who is this boy? Does it have anything to do with the energy in your body?' – Seiryuu

"All right, I think it's time to get out of here, isn't it?" - Le Chang.

"Of course... let's see what you're capable of." Answered Seiryuu perplexed.

Le Chang quickly came out of the fissure and headed to the point where he had spotted the Serpent of The Icy Fire.

The Magic Beast was still there, feeding on a small pack of gray wolves.

Le Chang took a new breath and quickly headed towards her.

The Serpent quickly felt him and his body began to emanage blood sheds because Le Chang had escaped, the cold aura of his body freezing the grass around him.

Le Chang closed his eyes and concentrated for a moment, until powerful flames appeared on his body.

In the midst of the darkness of the cave, it was possible to see a powerful and warm blue light. The heat of the flame created a fine mist when it encountered the freezing air coming from the snake.

'Fist of the Dragon Fighter God.' He thought of Le Chang before a Dragon Claw made of Qi appeared on his hands.

The flame involved Claw, who quickly underwent changes. The Claw, which was once red, was now of a soft blue like the sky and its power had increased exponentially.

The Serpent quickly attacked Le Chang.

Throwing his powerful tail at his opponent, the speed was so absurd that Le Chang barely had time to defend himself.

Putting his arms on his right flank to hold the impact, Le Chang was eventually thrown tens of yards away.

The Serpent gave him no rest and immediately jumped with his mouth open toward him, which jumped to the left and punched the Beast in the jaw.

A cracking glass sound can be heard and a small crack appeared in the Serpent's head, but that only made her angrier.

Her tail came again against Le Chang who jumped up and deflected the powerful blow. Taking advantage of the fall he gave a powerful kick over the Serpent's body. His leg was engulfed in flames and so he inflicted much more damage than usual.

Another large crack appeared on the animal's body.

The Serpent then felt threatened and released all his bloodshed, causing Le Chang to tremble. After all, he was still a boy and had never fought such a powerful being. But as soon as he was about to give up, a slight aura ran through his body, calmed his senses and reinforced his flames.

"Thank you Seiryuu" – Le Chang.

"N... N... It wasn't me." - Seiryuu.

"Who fo..." Read Chang was prevented from finishing the sentence by a huge tail coming his way.

The tail hit him so hard that his body was thrown tens of meters away, stopping only as it crashed into a stone wall.

'It's a beast about to become a Level Three Magic Beast... Damn how I didn't notice that... the boy will die that way.' - Seiryuu.

Le Chang felt some broken bones, his Qi was in chaos and blood flowed through the corner of his mouth.

Again the aura ran through his body and calmed him, clearing his thoughts.

"Get up and fight." Le Chang heard a whisper in his ear.

He realized it wasn't Seiryuu, but something different, older, more powerful.

The Serpent again jumped into Le Chang with his jaw open and about to swallow him.

Quickly Le Chang swerved to the side, the Serpent crashed into the wall causing the whole area to tremble.

Le Chang quickly shouted "Dragon Fighter God Kick", while his leg was slapbered by a dragon paw of pure blue Qi.

'Understood the second part of the Martial Base Technique: [Fist of the Dragon Fighter God*]... Very good... Very good..." - Seiryuu.

As soon as the blow reached the Serpent's left flank, she was flung a few feet away along with the sound of glass breaking.

In the end she was still an animal and her instinct dominated her, again she jumped blindly towards Le Chang.

He quickly ran close to the stone wall and as soon as he was a few feet from the Serpent, he jumped against the wall and used it as a base to jump into the air toward the Beast's head, throwing a powerful punch at the Serpent of The Icy Fire.

'Clack… Clack… Clack…'

A few seconds later the Magic Beast coffed into small chunks of ice.

"What was that... That voice... That aura." Le Chang spoke panting.

"Seiryuu, do you know what that was?" – Le Chang

"I... I really don't know... it's something older than dragons... What is inside your Qi Core is something that only you can discover." – Seiryuu.

'Something older than us... What the hell is in this kid... Is that why your body was so damaged? You couldn't stand the presence of this ancient aura? ...' - Seiryuu.

"All right, kid, take the Magic Crystal and let's get out of here..." - Seiryuu.

"All right" - Le Chang.

Amid the ice, he collected a small white sphere the size of a fist.

Using a torn piece of his robe he made a bag to carry the Magic Crystals.

"It's time to leave." - Le Chang.
