3 Chapter 03 - Renewed

The glow was extremely obnoxand a sense of warmth ran through Le Chang's body.

After the light faded the majestic dragon gave way to the image of a gentleman with gray hair, long white beard, who wore a white robe, but on his chest there was a hole the size of a fist that went through his entire body.

Le Chang looked stunned at you in front of you.

"How... hope you're not a dragon? How did you get hurt like that?"

"Ai, ai, humans, humans. It's still not time for you to know how I was hurt. Listen boy I'm a Dragon and a special good, when we reach a level of power we manage to change our appearance to other life forms. Come here and climb the altar."

Without hesitation Le Chang took a leap, but he did not expect his body to be so strong after those injuries and ended up jumping five meters in the air almost going face to face on the stone disc.

Le Chang looked dazed at his body, but did not have time to inspect it as his front had something more important.

"What's your name?" Said the Dragon.

"I am Le Chang, " he answered.

The Dragon stared at him and thought, "This boy is strange, surviving this fall is the least, but when he was healing his body I felt an extremely old aura, it could be considered on the same level as mine or even stronger. He still has an interesting character and a commendable personality, it seems that I found who I had been waiting for thousands of years."

"Le Chang, I have a proposition for you. What do you say you make a contract with me?"

"Of what kind?"

"Well, the contract is called the Inheritance Contract. With it I will put in your body my essence of life and how this you will have a much more powerful body, but I must tell you that the risk is great and few human beings have survived the Contract of Inheritance of a Dragon, even more of my Level."

"I accept! No matter what pain I need to endure, I need to become strong to give pride and joy to my parents, plus there are some problems to be solved." Le Chang clenched his fist and a slight murderous aura leaked from his body.

'Determined... very good, very good.'

"Come sit over there." The old man pointed to the middle of the altar.

Le Chang sat in lotus position.

The old man then approached Le Chang and put his hand on his head and said, "I the Lord of Dragons, the King of all magical Beasts, the Sovereign of A Thousand Worlds, the Holy Dragon, I grant Le Chang my Essence of Life, we will become one and one will be. Our enemies will be one and our allies will be one. Le Chang do you accept my Inheritance Contract?"

"I accept." As soon as Le Chang spoke the flame that was on the ceiling came out of his spot and how a meteor went toward his body.

As soon as the flame struck him and covered his entire body, his robes were incinerated and his skin began to burn, Le Chang's screams echoed in the cave that had returned to its original pitch.

"Hang on boy, if you go through this, amazing things await you." I said a voice in your head.

Le Chang felt his body burn, his eyebrows disappeared, his hair disappeared, his skin was in living flesh, but as the flame burned it she also healed him. New skin appeared and was incinerated soon after, the hair and eyebrows grew, but were transformed into ashes instantly.

The pain was distressing, but Le Chang remained like a mountain and did not move an inch.

After his body was burned and regenerated by the flame for about an hour, his white skin and his black hair as darkness shone amid the pitch of the cave, in his eyes there were golden rays and an ancient aura emanated from his body.

The flame that was around Le Chang's body still burning, but it did nothing to him.

"We went through the first phase, kid, first we needed to temper this fragile human body of yours to receive my power." The voice sounded imposing inside Le Chang.

As soon as the voice ceased the flame began to be absorbed by his body, his blood began to boil and his bones snapred like burning wood.

Blood spilled on his skin, but evaporated soon after.

An excruciating pain struck Le Chang again, his teeth creaky and tears flowed from his eyes.

"Hang in there, kid."

The pain was unalike, but Le Chang kept repeating in his mind the image of his father and mother arguing with the elders of the Le Clan so they would give them money to care for their son. The smile of his mother Lin Bo, his honey-colored eyes and his long brown hair, the loving look of his father Le Shen to him, even knowing that his son could never cultivate.

The flame burning his body was ancient and powerful, but the flame that burned inside Le Chang's heart was renewed every second for the love of his parents.

After a day the insanas treamy went on.

"His blood and bones were transformed, just like his Qi Channels and meridians."

"Now we will enter the most important part, your Qi Core. The pain will now be much stronger and if you give yourself to it your Qi Core will explode and kill you instantly." The voice again sat in his head.

Le Chang nodded.

The flames, which looked more like burning lava, began to enter Le Chang's Qi Channels and as dragons headed for his head.

All Qi Channels converge on the Qi Core that sits in the center of a human's head.

Le Chang's Core was empty and there was not a drop of Qi.

Immediately as a black hole sucking energy from a star, Le Chang's Qi Core began sucking the flame.

A river of energy flowed into the Le Chang Core, immediately a boom was heard followed by something insane.

'What's going on?' Thought the old man.
