Chapter 6 Wilderness

The day of the wilderness field trip arrived, and Bhoj High School buzzed with excitement. Students, armed with their talents and combat skills, gathered at the school entrance. Karn, determined to venture into the wilderness alone, stood apart from the groups forming around him.

Duryodhan, concerned for his friend's safety, approached Karn again. "Karn, reconsider going alone. It's too dangerous out there, and having a team can be crucial for survival."

Karn, resolute in his decision, replied, "I appreciate your concern, Duryodhan, but I want to test my abilities on my own. I believe in my strength and I have already reached tier 1 middle."

Duryodhan sighed, realizing he couldn't change Karn's mind. "Just be careful, alright? We'll meet back at the city gates before returning to school."

As the students set out for the wilderness, Karn felt a mix of anticipation and nervousness. The vast expanse beyond the city walls awaited, filled with unknown creatures and challenges. 

The city walls are made of a special alloy developed by pioneering scientist Dr. C. Sasikumar. His research led to the creation of this durable material ideal for defending against monsters. These walls can withstand attacks from monsters up to tier 5 in strength.

 Even in higher level cities, more advanced walls are used to defend against stronger monsters. The school had provided them with a map indicating different zones for monster hunting, and Karn decided to head toward a less populated area to test his abilities without interference.

As the students prepared to exit the city gates, the principal of Bhoj High School offered some words of caution. 

"Out in the wilderness, you must all be vigilant and stick together," he advised. "The wilderness does not follow city rules - it follows the law of the jungle. So you must watch out for one another and provide aid when needed." 

He continued, "Soldiers will be present to assist you, but you too must exercise great care."

The principal implored the students to support each other and remain alert in the unpredictable wilderness beyond the city walls. Though protected by soldiers, the students bore responsibility for their own safety as well.

Walking through the thick foliage of wilderness, Karn sensed the change in atmosphere. The sounds of the city were replaced by the rustling of leaves and occasional distant roars of monsters. He unsheathed his Qinglong sword and mentally prepared for any encounter.

Karn suddenly found himself surrounded by a pack of wolf-like monsters that emerged from the shadows. Attracted by his presence, the tier 1 low shadow wolves readied themselves to attack.

'Name - Shadow wolves

 Realm - Tier 1 low

 Description - A ferocious canine beast of wolf species. they attack together when seeing any weak species. And fear the strong and fled. looks likes they think you are weak heehee'

This attribute panel was also one of system function it can be used on everyone.

"You picked the wrong target," Karn stated calmly as electricity began crackling around him.

With lightning reflexes, he engaged the monsters in combat, his Thunder abilities sizzling through the air.

Karn fluidly incorporated sword techniques into his onslaught of attacks. 

The monsters tried in vain to withstand the combination of lightning and masterful swordplay.

Recognizing Karn as a formidable opponent, the cunning wolves quickly changed their strategy. Circling around him, they prepared to attack as a coordinated pack, intending to overwhelm Karn with their numbers. 

"Snarl"

Snarling and snapping their jaws, the wolves closed in. Karn gripped his sword tightly as the wolves pounced, slashing at him with their razor-sharp claws from all directions. 

Effortlessly, Karn pivoted and spun, cutting down each wolf as they came at him. His lightning-fast reflexes and sword skills proved too great for the pack to overpower. 

Within minutes, the coordinated attack was thwarted. Surrounded by the unmoving bodies of the wolves, Karn stood victorious.

One by one they fell to Karn's barrage until none were left standing.

The successful encounter boosted Karn's confidence. He continued deeper into the wilderness. As he ventured further into the untamed expanse, the landscape underwent a gradual transformation. The once sparse surroundings began to give way to a riot of colors and textures. 

Lush vegetation sprawled across the terrain, creating a vibrant tapestry of greens, reds, and purples. The air was filled with the heady scent of blooming flowers and the earthy aroma of damp soil.

Karn's surroundings became a symphony of life, with the melodious chirping of birds overhead and the gentle rustling of leaves in the wind. The wilderness, once foreboding and enigmatic, now beckoned to him with an invitation to explore its hidden wonders.

As he roamed through this verdant haven, Karn discovered an abundance of exotic plants, each with unique shapes and colors. Towering trees with canopies that seemed to touch the sky cast dappled shadows on the forest floor. Vibrant wildflowers carpeted the ground, attracting a kaleidoscope of butterflies and bees.

As he goes near this exotic plant, suddenly a curtain of light appeared in front of him

AS he said that, he receives exotic plant into its storage space of system. As he moved deeper into the enchanted forest, Karn encountered a variety of wild creatures, each more formidable than the last. Giant spiders tier 1 middle grade monster with iridescent webs, agile forest nymphs, and territorial tree spirits tested his combat skills and quick thinking. 

The Qinglong sword danced through the air, accompanied by the crackling power of Thunder abilities, as Karn faced the challenges head-on.

The Qinglong sword, an extension of Karn's determination, moved with a grace that belied its deadly intent. With every swing, it cleaved through the air, leaving shimmering trails in its wake. The blade responded to Karn's every thought, an extension of his will that mirrored the intricacies of a well-practiced art. 

The patterns of his movements, honed through tireless training, flowed effortlessly as he faced the formidable challenges posed by the forest denizens.

Karn suddenly found himself face-to-face with a cluster of giant spiders as their shimmering webs became visible in the speckled sunlight filtering through the trees. With predatory speed, the spiders lunged at Karn, intent on making him their next meal. 

Karn reacted swiftly, anticipating their movements as if performing an elaborate dance. He twirled and sidestepped with effortless agility, evading the spiders' attempts to entrap him in their webs. 

"Your webs hold no power over me," Karn stated calmly as the spiders surrounded him.

Wielding the Qinglong sword, he became a blur of motion. With finesse and strength, he parried each assault, the sword becoming an extension of his body. The spiders were no match for his speed and skill. One by one, he dismantled the web cluster, leaving the spiders with no place left to mount a counterattack.

Soon, not a single spider remained alive, their iridescent webs collapsing to the forest floor in tattered ruins. Karn lowered his sword, ready for whatever this wilderness dared throw at him next.

After dealing with giant spider, Karn moves near the corpse of giant spider and started collecting various materials from his body.

One of main materials is their beast core, it has various use it is use to refine aura from it for cultivation. These materials are useful in various medicines and weapons like spider web are used for making armor of tier 1 low grade. So basically, all parts of exhibits a useful use. Collecting all materials from giant spider, Karn started moving forward again.

He was moving around the wilderness here and there encountering many tiers 1 beast and killing them. Suddenly he hears a sound, "boom!" "Boom!" Karn was startled and move towards the sound and found that few of his classmate are running towards him and behind them is a large wild monster The thunder leopard, a majestic yet ferocious beast, roared with electrifying power as it pursued Karn's classmates. 

Panic and fear gripped the group as they desperately tried to outpace the relentless predator. Karn, quick to assess the situation, leaped into action.

With the Qinglong sword in hand, Karn sprinted towards the thunder leopard. His Thunder abilities crackled, creating an aura of anticipation in the air. The leopard, sensing Karn's approach, turned its attention away from the fleeing students and fixated its fierce gaze on him.

The battle that ensued was a spectacle of lightning and steel. Karn seamlessly blended his Thunder manipulation with the fluid movements of the Qinglong sword. The electrified blade sliced through the air, creating streaks of lightning that clashed with the thunder leopard's attacks. Each clash echoed through the wilderness, a testament to the intensity of the encounter.
