12 Chapter 11 - Jupiter

"HADES HELP!!!" I scream out but am not heard. The darkness swallows my words whole stopping them from ever reaching him.

"Your in Olympus right now, okay? The other gods are having a meeting about the dagger that was placed in your heart." My hand slowly makes its way to my chest where the dagger still lays.

Gaia opens my mouth sounding exactly like me and seeming distressed.

"What happened?!" She said worriedly.

"Charmaine placed this dark enchanted dagger into your heart. They believe it has something to do with Gaia's return but have no clue as to what is has to do with you." Suddenly a sharp pain is sent through my body as I sit in the darkness. I curl into a tight ball shaking vigorously as my head begins to pound. My heart beat is louder and clashes against its cage. What is this?!

"Another peddle has fallen for you. All I need is to wait patiently for your time to run out." What do you mean by run out?!

"When the last peddle falls, this dagger will have completely drained you of everything you posses. Doesnt it sound wonderful?" She says while her laugh echoes through the darkness. The pain slowly fades away. Im stuck seeing whats happening but having no control over my body.

"What is the point to all of this?" I ask while sitting and focusing on what's going on around my body.

"What you gods have created was never foreseen by me. We are meant to rule and be adorned!" She yells at me. Suddenly, the door to my room crashes open and Cronus comes rushing in.

"THATS NOT PERSEPHONE, ITS-" He is cut off as my body begins to tingle all over. His mouth is covered by vines with thorns tearing at his skin. I let out a chuckle as I sit up. Hades looks from me to Cronus then back to me.

"Its Gaia! You need to take the dagger out now!!!" Cronus yells while dashing towards me. Hades lunges forward reaching out for the dagger stuck inside my heart. Everything freezes in place as the guardians of the time paradox appear behind me. In able to move freely whereas Cronus is stuck in place as he was running forward and Hades is stuck reaching out. I shove his hand away and stand up.

"Took you long enough girls." I say.

"We had issues."

"With Allegras cooperation." I look from the two older girls to the youngest one. Her skin and hair is pure white along with her eyelashes. Her eyes are a light gray. She is short and thin like a 8 year old girl.

"Is this true, Allegra." Her name is spit from my mouth is disgrace. She looks at me fearful as her tiny body begins to shake vigorously.

"Im sorry your all mighty." She leaps forward at Hades and Cronus gently tapping them making them dissapear. She looks at me with pity before disappearing as well.

"Where did she go?!" I scream while Harlow and Candace close there eyes.

"We cannot."

"Feel her."

"Any longer."

I jump out of the bed feeling the rage running through my veins. My heart beats faster and faster by the second almost as if it was going to explode at any moment.

"You are weak goddess. Your body cannot withstand the full length of my powers yet." Gaia says while slurring her words.

"Please, why are you doing this?!" I whine while reaching around the dark space to feel anything.

"Zues shall fall and I shall rise." Is all she says.

"Find Allegra!!! This mission is useless if we dont have her." I scream in anger.

"Now I need to find my body." She says while the two girls leave the room falling through the ground. I need to find a way out of here before its too late. I jump up reaching for where I can see whats going on. As I leap for it, I just seem to fall further down than I was in the first place.

"You cant get out little goddess." She says while smirking. My body shivers as the next petal on the bloody red rose begins to tip further backwards. I wont have very long. A sharp pain is sent through my head making my knees beneath me buckle causes me to collapse on the floor. White lines seem to spin around me in the darkness slowly numbing my body as my eyes roll to the back of my head.

"Persephone! I dont have much time, you must listen!" I hear a familiar voice scream while they pick me up.

"I am Allegra, the youngest of the three sisters and guardian of past. You MUSTNT let Gaias essence win. The real Gaia purposely created you to restore balance and heal the earth which is dying! All thats left now of Gaia is the darkness that had consumed her and killed her. You cannot let it do the same it you!!"

"W-wait. . . I dont understand! Thats not Gaia?" She nods her head quickly crouching down next to me.

"I only have a few moments longer. Listen, the essense has no control over your power, you must get Hades to help, he is the only one capable od pulling you out without damaging your body."

"How do I give him a message?!" I ask worriedly.

"Use your power!!! I must go, they are here!!! Be careful!" With one last glance back she jumped in thin air and darkness surrounds me once again. I lift my head off the coldness and look around. Gaia is searching a tomb for her body. How do I get Hades attention. . . Wait!!!

Me and Rosettas S.O.S call!!! If I get HER attention then she can get help. I stand up weakly feeling my body being pulled back down. Come on. . . I pull my hands from my sides up slowly feeling my arms being strained. Energy surges through my veins leaving a toll on my body. I feel through all nymphs at once making me drowsy. Come on. . . I need to find her.

"What do you think your doing little goddess?!?!" Gaias voice echoes through my mind. Another petal falls sending a shock through my body. I fall to my knees and concentrate on which nymph im looking for. I feel her flowery heart. . . A sunflower. She is running. . .

"UGH!" I let out a scream in agony as my hands begin to fade into a dark black like the plague. Tears stroll down my cheeks as the pain continues to vibrate through my bones. Please Rosetta. . .

"STOP YOU STUPID GIRL!!! YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!!!"

"I wont let you kill. . . the people. . . I love." I say coughing up blood. I get on my knees and hands feeling one last surge of power fly through me. Sunflowers beging to sprout everywhere. . . everywhere in the underworld. More than I anticipated. I feel Rosetta look at them and her heart feels like it was sliced through.

"Persephone!" She says while grabbing the flower. I smile as my tears begin to turn to ash and float up in the darkness.

"You will pay dearly for-" Gaias voice starts but fades as I lay on the cold bare ground. My eyes blink gently open and a whirring sound goes through my head. I feel no air come as I inhale. I close my eyes once more but they dont open again.

I wake up to my head pounding. I try to sit up but something keeps me on the ground so I look down at my body to realize I'm chained down to a metal table. Gaia appears in her form again and walks up to me.

"Ah, you finally woke up. Seeing as how I cant trust you to listen out of common knowledge, in just gonna make you listen." I struggle trying to break free.

"Your powers wont work, your drained your body so it'll take a while to recharge. Now listen." I snap my teeth and spit at her feet.

"First, I'm going to kill your beloved Hades, then I'm going to cure my son, Cronus, of his heart that you have poisoned with love. And finally, ill just kill everything else as a whole. . . while you watch of course." She smirks and let out a malicious giggle.

"You wont hurt anyone!!! I wont let you!" I say spitting my words at her.

"Says the little girl who couldnt defy her mother for 20 years. You cant go anywhere without needing supervision." She is lying!!!

"I am perfectly fine on my own!" I yell while trying to lunge at her. The chains begins to burn my skin holding me down tighter to the table.

"Oh I forgot to mention, the chains tighten and heat up every time you apply too much force to them. So id be careful if I were you." My body feels like trembling but I clench my fists holding myself back. I cant let her hurt them.

"What do you want from me? Why are you doing this?" I say in defeat.

"Oh, I havent already told you? The gods have poisoned my beloved planet with these little pests called humans that they created." Zeus made them for the world to be nurtured and loved. . .

"I can save the planet, just let me go and I promise ill save it!" She lets out a loud laugh while clutching her chest and the side of the metal table.

"No point in saving something if the same things are here to destroy it again sweetie. Just let me do my job." She begins to walk away. Not thinking straight, I say the first words that come to mind.

"Your not the real Gaia!" She stops in her steps and slowly turns her head to the side.

"Your right, I'm her pain." With that she dissapears into the darkness. There is something off about her. . . She displays this hate towards those hurting the world and something she created but. . . Why so much love over a planet? She is Gaias pain. . . what does that mean? Something from her past must be keeping her here and she is trying to release it. Jupiter. . . Thinking of Gaia has always made that name pop into my head but I dont remember who that is. . . With the name comes a familiar face. . . A man with long silky blonde hair and caramel like skin. His smile was so bright. . . who is Jupiter. . .?

I feel my real body begin to move more and as I try to stand up forgetting the chain, my body is tugged back down to the metal bed roughly making me let out a grunt. The chains begin to burn my skin leaving a red rash. I ignore the pain clenching my teeth. I need to wait it out. . . I need to wait for my powers to regenerate. I lay in the metal bed thinking of Jupiter and watch as Gaia searches for her body. Gaia called Cronus her son. . . So she created the titans? I dont know how that exactly works but wouldnt a father be needed. . .? Cronus. . . JUPITER!!! Thats his father!!! The world has something to do with Jupiter and Gaia is trying to preserve it or something like that. . . She is only the pain of Gaia.

Gaia mustve died of heart break from something that happened to Jupiter which connects to this planet and this planet is the closest thing she must have to him. She is going to kill people out of the pain she got from love! That is why she said I poisoned Cronus' heart with love. The real Gaia is still in there!

Another petal suddenly falls causing me to lose conciousness for a split second. The heat from the chains become unbearable making a shrill sound escape from my lips. Blood pours from my nose as my eye sight becomes blurry. I cant die here! My body trembls in the heat uncontrollably as I clutch my fists and let out screams of agony.
