19 3rd Floor

{Floor 3}

Inside the villa Sasuke rented, the Team settled into the roomy living area, complete with murals of the 3rd Floor's vibrant culture.

As soon as they set foot on Floor 3, Sasuke hurriedly gathered them for a meeting. He positioned himself at the heart of the living room and addressed the group with a grin, "Alright, everyone, Yours truly is now your fearless leader. Any issues with that?"

_

Silence hung in the room, but Sasuke wasn't one to be bothered. "Great, your silence means we're good to go." He pointed at Alexay, Paracule, and Rachel. "Now, onto the main event. You, you, and you... sorry, but you're out of the team."

After this bombshell, Hatz was the only one who had Rachel's back, saying they should take her for Baam. while the others just stared.

Shibisu eventually convinced Hatz after a few minutes of reasoning.

Alexay slipped away quietly, without any drama. Paracule, though, went on a full-on rant about how the team would crumble without him. Before he could make things any messier, Sasuke swiftly opened a portal under Paracule, sending him who knows where.

'Sorry, I'm not in the mood to deal with your nonsense'

With the extras gone, Sasuke turned his gaze to Rachel, raising an eyebrow like, "Your turn to exit, please." But unexpectedly, Khun stepped up, promising to form a new dream team and lead Rachel to the top of the Tower. The rest of the Team looked pretty divided. It seemed like a brawl was about to break out.

Sasuke just shrugged his shoulders and left the room, tossing out a parting line, "You guys sort things out and let me know by tomorrow. Take some rest and don't bother me for now."

*Why would you want to leave the Team….*

Sasuke could hear the loud noises coming from below as the discussion escalated. He shook his head and entered the room at the end of the hallway. It isn't his position to solve their problems. There is no need for Team if he have to solve all their silly problems.

As he walked in front of a large mirror in his room, he gazed at his reflection. The same old black hair and pair of black eyes met his gaze. But the moment he activated the Rinnegan, both of his eyes transformed into a rippled pattern of purple with six Tomoe swirling. After studying them for a few moments, he sighed and sat down on his bed.

"I thought I would gain the Rinne-Sharingan if I upgraded my EMS, but it didn't happen," he mumbled tiredly as he laid down and entered his Mind Realm. He hadn't checked his abilities until now because he lost interest when he saw the same six-Tomoe Rinnegan in his other eye.

Soon, he found himself within the purple Void space. He had visited this space a few times in the past but hadn't changed anything.

"Hmm? Why is there only Rinnegan Rune?" Sasuke looked around in a panic. No matter how much he searched, he only found the Rune of Rinnegan standing alone in the Purple Void, surrounded by the radiant Purple Energy.

Calming down, He looked at the Rinnegan Rune in the distance, resembling a vertical Rinnegan with six Tomoe inside. Taking a deep breath, He moved closer to observe the changes that had occurred. However, as he laid his eyes on the six Tomoe individually, his eyes widened in shock, his mouth agape.

"What the heck? Are you sure this isn't the Rinne-Sharingan? How can it possess six overpowered concepts that not even the Rinne-Sharingan has?"

"Runes, manifest its details for me to clearly see," he commanded excitedly, even though he didn't need to voice it out. Soon, runes formed and arranged themselves in order.

_

1st. Tomoe [ Origin ] - Synthesis

{Sub Skills}

Sage, Susanoo

2nd. Tomoe [ Space ] - Portal, Swap

3rd. Tomoe [ Dimension ] - Inverse

4th. Tomoe [ Time ] - Psychometry

5th. Tomoe [ Quantum ] - Runes

6th. Tomoe [ Soul ] - ?.?

"Holy Fuck!" He stood there, completely flabbergasted. Setting aside those ridiculously overpowered abilities for a moment, what truly left him dumbfounded was the sheer capacity to manipulate the very essence of these concepts, albeit with some limitations. It dawned on him why he had felt a sense of wholeness when the Administrator had harnessed his own Shinsu to upgrade his eyes.

"Hahaha, thank the heavens I didn't end up with the Rinne-Sharingan," he chuckled maniacally, realizing the monumental difference in his strength then and now. He had failed to notice it earlier due to his foul mood, but...

"Did I seriously open a portal to the Second Floor just to get rid of Paracule? Darn it!"

"Before, I felt like a three-dimensional being with three abilities. But now, after unlocking the other Rinnegan and enhancing my existing skills, I have six Concept Manipulations under my belt, and I'm strutting around like a six-dimensional being. How insane is this upgrade?"

Why did this happen? How had Synthesis, his innate skill merged with the Rinnegan? Just as he was racking his brain over these unanswered questions, his eyes sparked with excitement when he thought of one of his new skills.

"[Psychometry]"

Both of his eyes transformed into Rinnegan, and his vision warped. It felt like he was being hurled back through the river of time, his world spinning around him. After a moment, he found himself back in the same purple void. However, there was a noticeable change – runes surrounded the space.

This ability allowed him to tap into the memories and sensations of events, objects, or living beings. For instance, if he observed a sword, he could see its entire history, from its creation to every person who had wielded it. The same applied to events; he could now peer into this space and uncover the causes behind these changes.

He didn't have to wait long. Suddenly, the Rune of EMS started glowing purple, and an immense wave of blue Shinsu flooded the space. All of it rushed to enter the EMS, but then, his dormant star, his innate skill, awakened as it sensed something evolving and altering. The star latched itself onto the Rinnegan and sucked everything in its vicinity, including the blue Shinsu of the Administrator, all the runes, even the Rinnegan itself. And finally, the element that allowed all these components to merge – that radiant purple energy, or perhaps the Shinsu his own body had given birth to – not a creation of the Tower, but a part of himself!

*WHOOP!*

Sasuke's reality warped once more, and he found himself right back in the Purple Void. Staring at the swirling Shinsu and the solitary Rinnegan Rune, a jolt of excitement surged through him.

"Damn, Synthesis, you're way too overpowered!" chuckling and praising the Synthesis enough to make it blush, he calmed down a bit and exited the Purple Void.

Back in his room, he pondered the enigmatic 6th Tomoe, tagged as "Soul" with a bunch of question marks hovering over its abilities. It felt like he needed to grasp the essence of the soul to unlock its ability.

Pushing his thoughts aside, he decided to sleep. They have to take the Test tomorrow. He wants to get to the 20th Floor as fast as possible. It's not because he wants to see Yuri.. yes definitely not. Because till the 20th Floor, he can't visit the Middle area and Outer Tower. It's too boring to stay inside a place where all maniacs roam around only caring about Tests.

In the midst of thinking about what to do tomorrow, he fell asleep unknowingly.

The very next day,

Everyone gathered once more in the same living room. It was impossible not to notice the absence of Khun and Rachel, and the expressions on his teammates faces mirrored the void they'd left behind.

Sasuke grinned, relieved to see they'd finally reached a decision. "No more sulking because Khun left. He'll catch up with us in the future. It's his Canon event, after all."

"Eh, what's this 'Canon' stuff?" Shibisu scratched his head, baffled. Had he missed something? Maybe adopting Anaak and Hatz had made him lose touch with the lingo.

Sasuke ignored his question and continued, "We'll start Registering for the Tests from today and start climbing… I want to break the record of the fastest climb! Don't you all too?"

Seeing his words ignited their enthusiasm, he continued with a grin. "Our positions remain the same: Endorsi and Anaak as Fishermen, Rak as the Spear-Bearer, Hatz as our Scout, Laure as the Wave Controller, Shibisu as the Light Bearer, and yours truly as the one and only Shinigami."

Out of the blue, Endorsi raised her hand, and Sasuke quirked an eyebrow, allowing her to speak.

"So, what's our team name?"

This question hung in the air for a moment, but it didn't take long for Rak to chime in with a thunderous voice.

"Rak and Turtles. I'll let you turtles name the team in my honor!"

"What did you say, alligator? It should be 'Princess and Her Servants!'" Endorsi head-locked the chibi alligator, scaring him.

Hatz, with a completely straight face, suggested, "What about 'Honored Warriors'?" Shibisu stifled his laughter at the name, making Hatz drew his sword and chase after him.

"Ahh!" While they were running around, they accidentally stepped on the innocent sleeping Laure, who started bawling at his now dirty blankets.

"Hahahahaha!" Seeing their usual selves return and the heavy atmosphere dissipate, Sasuke laughed, grabbing everyone's attention. They halted their antics as Sasuke, still chuckling, continued.

"Our team's name will be..."

"Akatsuki."
