33 Wet Dream?

"I.am.here."

Somya heard a deep, cello voice from behind her and reverberating everywhere. It gave her a sense of Deja vu. Suddenly her surroundings became extremely quiet as if they were scared of that person's voice too. But her heart was still beating loudly for unknown reasons. A gut feeling arose from the pit of her stomach. Something bad is going to happen!

Unexpressed emotions never die. They are buried alive and will come forth later in uglier ways. Dreams often reveal feelings that we've repressed because dreams are a reflection of our unconscious mind, Our Emotional Truth.

Somya's eyes snapped open. She sat up in bed, her forehead drenched in a cold sweat.

What a strange dream!

Somya had these nightmares since childhood. They always occur at midnight, and the weirdest thing is, she always forgets them when she woke up. But today, she can remember everything she saw. Her dream felt so realistic that she had to think if it really happened or not.

She looks around, searching for a clock because a clock can never be in dreams. She breathes a sigh of relief after finding it.

"This is too odd," she said to herself.

But she can't understand what was this illusion about? How can she recall it now? For the past month, the number of times she woke up at midnight gasping for air had increased drastically.

She can always feel her dreams were dark, but she can't tell what she saw before. But now, for the first time, she knew what she saw, and it was scary. Her way of reacting to the unfoldings in the dream was unlike her true self as if she was living the dream in someone's else body.

She takes a deep breathe to forget all these things and gets out of her bed.

'Forget it! It was just a dream and nothing else. It does not make any sense,' she chanted, believing her dream had nothing to do with the reality, and strode towards her bathroom.

But just because the mouse closed his eyes on seeing the cat doesn't mean that the cat is gone. You can only dream about things you already know, and the faces of people you see in dreams are faces you've seen before in real life. Psychology says dreams carry more weight and meaning than our conscious thoughts while awake. Most of our dreams contain a Secret Message.

Somya ignored these things because she can't relate her weird nightmare with reality. She would never have snubbed it only if she had known that she dreams the same thing every night.

'knock knock'

Somya was brushing when she heard the knock on the door. Expecting it to be housekeeping, she moved forward to open the door. But she finds Varun standing there with a bag in his hands.

She was still in her nightwear with a toothbrush in her mouth. A little foam can be seen coming out of the corner of her lips. She rushes towards the bathroom to hide her disordered self. No matter how cheeky, at the end of the day, she is still a girl. She wanted to save some face in front of him.

Varun lightly laughs at her cute reaction. He doesn't understand what is the point of hiding when he had already seen her. Standing with one side of her pajamas folded till her knees and her shirt's collar a little down from her left shoulder, allowing him to peek at her suggestive collarbone, she was out to start a new trend of being a Morning Bunny! Too adorable!

He throws the courtesy out of the window and gets in.

"Hey! Where's it?" Somya said, coming out of the washroom after fixing her appearance.

"What?" He asked and started arranging food on the table.

"Your shame! I can't see it anywhere." she faked a smile.

"How can you get inside without my permission?"

"If you don't start eating now, then forget about having breakfast," he deadpanned.

She frowned and quickly took a seat in front of him.

"I had a dream!" she told him while eating breakfast.

"A wet one?"

"Varun!" she groaned.

Varun grinned, "What is it?"

"It was a bizarre dream," she said, holding her chin.

Varun raised a brow. "Oh! I was hoping for a steamy one."

"Varun?" Somya thought he ate the wrong medicine today. Where did her rude but serious Beauty go? Is she hallucinating him? she asked herself.

He laughed. The sound bounced off the walls and struck a chord in her heart. Her stomach fluttered at the deep, velvety sound. He was so handsome that it blinded her.

"Eat, silly!"

Cough, cough!

They were interrupted by someone's coughing. Then only Somya noticed the presence of someone else in the room. It was the driver from yesterday. What's wrong with her vision! Was she too charmed by Your Majesty's presence that she forgets about his loyal servant?

"Sir, should I leave?" Avi asked, scratching his head.

"No. You can stay here, but you just have to pay the bills," said Varun, nonchalantly.

Avi gulped. At one moment, his boss was flirty with a young lady, and in the other, he was throwing a warning at him in the disguise of humor. When did his voice start being this entertaining? His boss is too scary!

He quickly left with an awkward laugh.

"So, my dream was..."
