2 Food and Housing Get!

"I'm a Waifu?!" Kyle shouted in shock before realizing that shout came out louder than he thought it would. Closing his mouth in panic, he looked around to see nobody had heard him.

Sighing in relief, Kyle calmed his beating heart as he looked back at the reflection. It is quite a surreal experience to be your favorite character, especially if she's a girl. But it didn't take long for him to realize that everything seemed normal...?

It was weird. He knew he was a boy just a few minutes ago, but he also felt he had been a girl his entire life. He tried walking around and could clearly see that he was moving femininely. 'God... This is going to take some time to get used to...'

She decided to goof around with his newfound body. Like making poses from the game, making funny faces, and shouting quotes like "YATTA!". It was mostly innocent before she finally thought of doing something... different.

'Wait wait wait! I can't do that! What would Kiana think about me doing this with her body?! Oh wait... I am technically Kiana...'

Taking a quick look around to find nobody near. He blushed as he simulated an image in his head and whispered, "Mmmn...! Mei-senpai~! Not so rough~!"

In his head, he could see that everything in the boner department went haywire as everything started to smoke and burned to the ground. Since he doesn't have a boner, they did not have anywhere to store the amount of energy it got from that one whisper.

'AHHHH!! WHY DID I SOUND SO HOT?!'

After a few minutes of calming down, he started to think about what he should call himself. Now that Kyle and Kiana has merged, he was a bit confused on if he should start to call himself herself. But from looking at his current body, which is 100% female. The most logical answer was going with female pronouns... Also being an anime girl was one of his most embarrassing wishes.

'Forgive me my male self, I am embracing the dark side.' She thought while letting a dramatic tear out her eye before laughing to herself.

Thinking on what to do first, she decided that Shelter and Food was the most important goal for now. So in here head, she created a plan called, 'Food and Housing!'. She only needed to find a place to live and get some food for the night. How hard could it be?

Tuna Tuna Tuna~!

'I want to go back home!' She cried in her head. All this time, she had been walking around the city asking for a bit of cash! No one gave a single yen! 'Why are people so mean?! I just asked for some yen to buy food!'

"Grrr... This is why Herrschers are born dammit! Not giving kids in the street some money made them hate humanity as a whole! Now look at me! A once honest child turned to crime and stole bread from vending machines!" She grumbled before taking a bite from a bread she found in a closed school.

Her frustrated ranting was quickly interrupted by the evil whispers in her mind. Yes! Let the hate flow through you Kiana! Why ask when everything was yours in the first place. Go take what's rightfully yours. Humanity won't acknowledge us without showing them the true might of their ruler!

If she was a bit more desperate than she is now, she might have just listened to the voice and go assert her dominance to the cashier. But she was not that desperate at the moment. 'Ha! Not today, Sirin me! That would be stupid! Not only will we let ourselves be known to the world. There are people here that are stronger than your average Herrscher. Also! Just because I made Alaya and Gaia to not kill us or try to imprison us in any way. That doesn't mean they could damage us in self defense.'

Hearing the voice saying nothing, she happily fist pumped herself and felt proud that she won her first battle in this world. A battle against herself... 'My hunger must be driving me insane.'

Sighing in defeat, she left the empty cafeteria and towards the front gate. It was a bit sad for her Kyle side to realize that most people wouldn't help others unless it benefits them, but her Kiana side made it easier to digest.

Arriving by the gate, she watch the little silhouettes of people walking down the side walk and cars moving here and there with a smile. 'I wonder how Mei and Bronya would react seeing this... Probably not much... But knowing that this was a city in a different world made this ordinary view into an extraordinary one.'

'Now that I thought about it... How is she doing right now? I hope she has a better fate than the one in the game. She deserved better... Oh yeah! With my wish her life should be great! I just wished I could be enjoying it with her...'

Looking down on her last piece of bread, she sighed and muttered. "Guess it's time to hunt some more food... I really need something more to fill my stomach."

She stretched her arms towards the sky and let out a satisfied sigh, before feeling a drop of water landing on her nose.

"Ey!" She shouted in surprise. Her hand wiped the water on her nose before looking up. Gray clouds filled the sky as the sound of thunder could be heard from afar. 'Shit... This is some bad timing!'

Looking back at the city, she knew she would never make it in time and stayed dry. So she ran back to the school and watched as rain started to pour heavily. 'Even in different worlds... Something bad will always going to happen to me...'

Hearing the sound of her grumbling stomach, she thought this must be quite a depressing scene to see. A young girl lost in another world, hungry, homeless, with no one she could ask for help...

Looking at the dark sky, she was reminded of the Animated Short Lament of the Fallen. An idea came to her mind, as pink cubes started to form on her hand. 'Should I...? No... If I were to make a hole in the sky that would alert the magus and start investigating the cause. Not only that, a glowing pink cube is quite a bright color on black and grey.'

Her thoughts were slowly interrupted as she heard the sound of footsteps getting farther away. Looking toward the direction, she saw a familiar person with red auburn hair while also wearing a brown school uniform. Her eyes widened in recognition as she screamed at the boy, "HEY! SHIROU! HEY! CAN YOU HELP ME!"

The boy looked left and right before thinking that it must be his imagination and continued to walk away.

"Oi! Dammit! This rain must be blocking most of my voice." She wanted to give up but remembering her original plan, this might just work with him. Quickly bringing her hood up to protect her head from the rain, she ran faster than any world record holder with the power of Honkai.

"iiiiIIIIIINCOOOMING!!" "Huh?" The boy finally looked back and his instinct went to work. He quickly dodged the girl and grabbed her hood to pull but was pulled instead.

"Wah!" "Gah!"

Feeling something heavy on her chest, she opened her eyes to find Shirou pinning her body down on the wet concrete. Their eyes met and stared in shock before Shirou get out of a daze. Bringing both of them up, he asked with pure concern in his face, "Are you alright? Is anything hurt?!"

His question brought her out of a daze as she shook her head, "I'm alright. But... I can't say that to my clothes..."

Frowning a bit, Shirou felt responsible and asked, "Do you mind if we go to my house?"

Tuna Tuna Tuna~!

"Ahh... This is good!" She exclaimed with a bright smile on her face. Finally after searching food for the past hour, she finally got herself something hot and delicious! These kinds of food brings out some posivity she needed in her life.

"Thanks for making this for me Emiya-kun!"

Shirou smiled happily as he sat on the opposite site of the table, "It's alright Kaslana-san. Making food for others is what I like to do. Also, I couldn't just leave you drenched out there in the rain after causing your clothes wet.

"Still! If another person was to be in your position, they would probably said sorry and ran away before they could even think of helping me."

"You praise me too much. Now can you tell me everything from the start? Like why are you at my school during the night and what were you doing before that?

"Oh sure! That's the least I can do after everything you done to me! It all started after I woke up in an alleyway near your school. I was quite hungry at the time and trying to find a place to stay for the night. I have been running around asking people for help but sadly no one did. Then I thought maybe the school had something to eat! Luckily for me there was a vending machine with only a single bread left waiting to be eaten. Using my portals, I created one to take the bread and ate it. Of course that didn't fill my stomach, so I planned on leaving but the rain came by first. Leaving me stranded in the empty school with no one around. Then you appeared and the rest was history."

Shirou stayed silent as he hear her story but realized some odd things mentioned in her story, "Wait... Did you say you woke up in an alleyway? Not only that you said something about creating portals..."

She gave him a nod as she demonstrated her ability by making one on her hand and the other on the table. She shoved her hand into the portal and grabbed her tea cup that was on the table.

Shock was clearly written on his face before exclaiming, "You're a magus?!"

"Eh... Not really. I mean yeah I can do all this, but this doesn't count as magecraft." She answered as she took another long sip from her tea.

"That... is amazing... but aren't you afraid I could be someone dangerous? Like an evil mage who will try to kill you and turned you into some kind of slave? Or that I will think that it's freaky and call the cops on you?"

Kiana merely shrugged as she pointed out some facts she had after just meeting him in these 30 minutes. "First of all, would someone dangerous bring me back home after drenching my jacket and pinning me on wet concrete? Not only that, feed her delicious food? Also, I don't think the cops would take you seriously if you said something about magic."

With a raised eyebrow, he asked, "So after giving you food and a place to stay for the night. You already trust me that much to tell me your mag-ability?"

"Of course not! Well I guess yeah, I trust you but that's like the most basic part of my ability. You won't be learning about them before gaining more of my trust. Also, a normal magus would have not talked with me, instead they would have placed me in some kind of lab and dissect to pieces for research."

"What they do that?!" He asked in horror.

She only gave him a silent nod before sipping her tea.

Something was definitely going through his head as his face started going through many different emotions. Sighing in defeat, he stared at the sipping Kiana and asked, "Why are you even telling me all of this? All this talking with someone you just met half an hour ago..."

"Hm..." Why is she telling him about this? Well it's to quickly make a connection with Shirou and go with the friendship program she made in her head. Also because he is THE Emiya Shirou! But trying to see from his perspective, she could see why he thought of it.

For Shirou this was his first real interaction with a magical person... or at least something similar other than himself and Kiritsugu. While she had known her from VNs, Animes, Movies, and numerous fanfictions.

"Because, I trust you and hope that you could help me out with my situation." She said remembering her first hour after arriving at this world.

Though she could see Emiya wanting to help, she knew it was all to suspicious. A random girl he helped and fed, just so happen to have magic, AND came to him for help. Who wouldn't get suspicious of that?

"Why do you think I would help you?"

Looking at the suspicion in Shirou's face, she answered, "Because you, Shirou Emiya, are the kindest person I met after today. Not only that, you are the only magus from the four others that is the most trustworthy and will try his best to help me."

It was true. The others were Rin, Sakura, Makiri, and Kirei. Though she could trust both Rin and Sakura, they are closely monitored by two people she wants to avoid before the war started.

Frowning at her words, he said, "So you only want my help because I'm the safest option?"

Shaking her head in denial, she explain, "Ehh... Not really, but that is one of the many reason why, I chose you because I have information that prove that you are the best person I could ask for. Not only are you kind and trustworthy. You love helping people. If you think this only benefits me, I will give you information about everything I know about the magus society, how to use your circuits effectively, and I will do my best to help you while we are helping each other."

A few minutes of silence came to pass, before the sweet taste of victory came, as Shirou sighed in defeat and accepted her deal. She mentally fist pumped the air as her days of reading dramatic mangas helped with the situation.

"So... Now that I think about it. You haven't said anything about your situation..."

Tuna Tuna Tuna~!

After her long explanation, on how she got here -not including her merging and more.- The only thing left that was standing between her and living in this house was the Tiger of Fuyuki herself.

With a bit of planning and rough editing, she and Shirou had made a good enough lie to convince Taiga. And they did it.

Looking at the sleepy woman in her pajamas listening to Shirou's explanation. She could tell it was working.

"-And that's all my reasons for why Kiana should live with us for the time being."

Her tired eyes darted from Shirou and to her before going back to Shirou. Sighing in exasperation she exclaimed, "This is what you wake me up for?! If she is your cousin then let her stay! I remembered Kiritsugu told me about having a wife with white hair so that checks out. There should be an empty room beside mine. I'm going back to bed."

Leaving the two alone to go back asleep, Kiana sighed in relief as her tensed body finally relaxed. "Oh Mei in Heaven! It actually worked!"

Shirou chuckled as he looked at relaxed as well, "It was a good thing we tell her about this at night. If she had more energy, we wouldn't be sleeping for the next hour."

Laughing at his words, she looked at him with gratitude, "Haaa... Thanks for everything Shirou."

"It's nothing. I did agree to help you stay here after all. Then again, we need to test out if you were right about using my circuit wrong."

"Yeah sure... But let's talk about that tomorrow. I really want to take a warm relaxing bath after all the things that has happened."

"Right..." Standing back up, he opened the door but stopped and looked back at her. "Just to make sure, you remember where the bathroom is right?"

"Yeah yeah, I remember. Night Shirou."

He gave her a silent nod and walked towards his room..

Looking at the ceiling, she finally could rest for the day and started cheering in her head, 'Food and Housing Get!'.

AN = If there is something I could fix comment on the paragraph. If any of you could give me advice on how to make things better comment on the chapter. I may be doing this for fun but getting better at writing is a plus for both me and the readers. Thank you for reading this.
