Yuan Yi opened his eyes. He felt groggy. It was as if an anvil was sitting on his chest. He assumed it was because of his broken ribs.

The sky was bright, and the stars were gone. There was a fresh smell in the air, like an ordinary autumn morning.

He ran a hand across his ribs, only to find that the pain was gone. His ribs were whole. His body healed. More than anything, he could feel Qi in his body again, it was flowing. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, moving the Qi through his veins and dantian, and to his surprise, he found that he could cultivate again. Not just like before, but even better than before. Although, he was at the 1st stage of Qi Condensation again. Two years of hard work erased.
