19 We need to talk.

Arthur POV

I woke up at 6:09AM. Oversleeping my alarm by a fair margin. Ophis was still curled up at my side, however she was wide awake and staring at me. I reached out my hand and stroked her hair "Morning Ophis! Did you sleep well?". She replied with a nod which made me pout and reply in a childish manner. "Come on Ophis, you should talk to me more! I like hearing your voice you know!" I finished with a sweet smile. "Okay" Ophis replied back to me. I looked at her with a bright smile, ruffling her hair and praised her "good girl".

I got up from my bed, Ophis grappling herself around me like a koala bear. "Come on Ophy. I need to go do some exercise." She looked at me confused "Why? You are strong. Like me". I looked at her face which looked sadder than usual. 'Why you do dis to me?' though I smiled to her and explained "I must train hard to get stronger so I can protect my cute little sister and Nabe from mean people!" Ophis's face relaxed from her small pout and nodded, clearly accepting my satisfactory answer. "Thank you little one. Now then! How about we get you some breakfast! I'm sure Nabe has some already made" I said walking out of my room and to the kitchen.

Nabe was sitting in the kitchen already. I walked over to her and kissed her. "This little one" I said patting Ophis's head "is hungry. Have you by chance, happened to have made her anything this morning?" Nabe smiled "Of course Arthur, its the waffles on the counter with chocolate on them" I smiled at her and turned my head to Ophis "Now then Ophis, what should you say to Onee-chan when she makes you a delicious breakfast?" Ophis turned her head to Nabe "Thank you Onee-chan"

Nabe smiled at me and turned to Ophis "your very welcome mistress Ophis". Ophis dove into her food right away.

*Nom* *Nom*

I smiled at Ophis with a nod and turned back to Nabe "thank you Nabe. I have to go and train. Ill be back in a bit"

TIMESKIP TO AFTER TRAINING ETC.

I had just finished getting dressed in my school uniform. 'School is certainly going to be weird today. I'm sure I'll have to talk to Rias about what happened after school yesterday'. I sighed as i left my room and went downstairs and conversed with Ophy and Nabe for a while before having to go to school. I had to explain to Ophis why she couldn't come with me today, though she seemed fine with it after I mentioned that Nabe could make her food with chocolate. 'How quickly i was turned on when chocolate was mentioned' I thought with a frown.

The drive to school was normal again today, nothing changing other than my choice in vehicle. I chose the Rolls today. When I arrived at the school gates and saw Sona and Tsubaki again, I greeted them. "Good morning girls" I said with a smile, though I didn't get much of a reply. Sona simply nodded while looking wearily at me. Seeing they weren't interested in talking, I snorted and walked away. I could feel their eyes on me and I shook my head.

I walked straight to class, not interested in talking to anyone irrelevant. Some people looking at me in fear of what happened yesterday, some with envy and some with lust and some soy boys just angry because they know I could beat their asses. My mood once again soured after thinking about yesterday.

I walked in the class, not surprised at having 2 people instantly draw their eyes to me. I walked past Rias and Akeno, giving them the same greeting as Sona and Tsubaki and they reacted the same. "Ugh fuck me. I know you are probably sketched out about me. But at least reply to my greetings. Its kind of rude not to, on top of the fact I look stupid at getting no reply." I muttered out loud, uncaring if they heard me.

I sat down and focused on the lesson, not taking my eyes away from focusing, and just like that, the first two lessons passed by quickly and lunch had arrived. I sat up from my seat and grabbed my bag. As I made to pass by Rias she called out to me "Hey! Arthu-" but I was already walking past her and making my way out of the room. I just assumed we'd talk after school, so there was no point in talking with her, especially knowing she did the same to me when I greeted her this morning. I knew that if I stopped, we'd just stand there and make pointless conversation due to awkwardness. I'll also say it adds suspense for when i no doubt visit the ORC.

I made my way outside and went towards the gym where I knew the kendo club would be practicing. I knocked on the door and heard a voice shout to me as she opened the door "What is it now perve-". As the door opened a kendo stick flew downwards, flying towards my face. For a human, it would've hit me due to her fast strike and most likely hurt quite a lot. For me though...Yeah I just grabbed it.

I saw that it was the pink haired girl from the perverts class 'Hm, if I remember rightly, her name is Katase' I racked my brain trying to remember. "That's not a very nice greeting" I said to her with a smile. She looked extremely embarrassed and took away the kendo stick. "SORRY! Sorry! I thought you were one of the perverts trying to peak at us or watch in on one of our lessons to stare again."

"*laughs* sadly no, that's not what I'm here for. I was actually interested in joining the kendo club. I have good speed and strength, I just don't have any technique". The pink haired girl looked at me shocked. "I mean, we don't have any boys in our club so you might feel a little uncomfortable" I shook my head at her comment "No, that's fine. I don't mind. I'm just trying to learn".

She nodded her head "Okay. I'll have to talk to Murayama about you joining, you should know by tomorrow. I'm Katase by the way" she said bowing slightly. "I'm Arthur. Its lovely to meet you."

We spoke for the rest of lunch, discussing the expectations, timetables for training etc. I mentioned the fact i might be joining the ORC club at some point, so i wouldn't be in the kendo club all the time. She seemed shocked but she said it would most likely be fine with Murayama.

Lunch had finished so I made my way back to the classroom. I was sure I'd most likely be asked to go to the ORC after school.

TIMESKIP TO AFTER CLASSES

The school day had finished and I was preparing to leave the class when a hand stopped me from passing by the door. Being asked to stop and being forced to are very different. And I don't appreciate the latter. I looked to my right to see Akeno with her hand up, stopping me from leaving.

"Move your hand." I said to her calmly. "Rias want to talk to you" she replied. "Oh? So she sent you to ask me rather than doing it herself? Its not like she's far away" I said, looking back to her seat where she was grabbing her bag. "Why do something yourself, when you can have someone do it for you?" Akeno said to me. I understood her sperate meaning, though I still wasn't impressed with the attitude. "Manners Akeno. Its called manners. Now move your hand before I move it myself". The class was empty so it was safe to use force or any other form of a non-human ability.

"Oh, will you now" She said to me with interest, though I could hear the under toned lust exuding from her voice. Deciding to follow through with what I said. I pushed her up against the wall to move past her. "Mmm" I heard the muffled moan come from Akeno. 'Haha, well that worked perfectly' I thought to myself. I already knew she was a sadomasochist so I assumed giving her a small amount of pain would please her.

Shaking my head, I was about to leave the classroom when a voice called out to me. "Arthur. Weren't you going to be coming to the ORC club today? I think now's a good time to do so." Though I didn't show it on the outside, I was shocked 'This is Rias from DxD?! That gave me goose bumps! A serious Rias. How interesting!'. I didn't really need to decide, I knew I would of been going anyway.

"Sure Rias, lead the way" I said to the red head. I turned my head to Akeno, she was still looking at me intently 'Damn. Your mum must've been so hot! Baraqiel fucked up man.' Rias, me and Akeno walked towards the club, Rias in front of me and Akeno behind me.

We arrived at the old building on campus and went through the double doors to the main room. There were only a few people already in the room. Koneko and Kiba. "Sup Kiba, neko-Chan!" They looked surprised that I was addressing them, Koneko especially. Kiba replied with a simple "hey" and Koneko didn't even bother responding. I took that moment to use observe on everyone in the room to get a basis on them.
