INTRODUCTION TO WHAT YOU THOUGHT WOULD BE ARTHUR BUT IT WAS ME DIO!!

Nah but seriously, it's an intro for Arthur

A/N FROM THE FUTURE: go to chapter 3-4 if you don't care much for a long ass intro :)

Arthur POV

Hi there! The names Arthur Liones, a male and currently 18, studying in college to get my diploma here in Tokyo Japan, fluent in both Japanese and English, so I can get by fairly easily! Mhm yep, praise me, I'm a smart cookie aren't I? Pff you don't even have to answer me, I already know I am...Well at least that's what I wished I could say, I have average grades, nothing entirely spectacular like you would gather from this little sneak peak into my life I just gave you.

I'm quite a tall guy, standing roughly around 6ft 2 inches in height. I have dirty blonde hair that is usually quite messy, mainly due to the fact I don't do anything with it after waking up. I have a slim build with quite a decent amount of muscle, just naturally, not because I got it at the gym or anything. My feature are decently defined, nothing too amazing. My face also doesn't have many blemishes. So overall, you could say I was decent looking! If i was to rate myself based on my body and looks, i would say at least 7 to 7 and a half.

Truthfully, the only reason I'm fluent in Japanese is from anime and some very small online video courses I watched, I thought the language was awesome, plus I really wanted to watch anime without needing subtitles, I got there eventually with a little bit of effort. As for getting into college in Japan...well I got some help from an old teacher of mine, Aizawa was his name, a good, honest man, a bit lazy, but a great teacher all the same.

He had contacts in Japan and after buttering him up (get your mind out of the gutter) and expressing my interest in going there to study, he helped me out and got into contact with his contacts as well as my parents, he managed to get me an interview with a college there and to my surprise, I impressed them! They said I had potential with the course I wanted to follow and they would gladly accept me as long as I was able to get there on time for the semester to start.

My parents gave me the money necessary to get there and sent me off with a wave, and from London, Uk to Tokyo, Japan I went. You see, my parents were quite well off, I mean you kind of have to be to live in London in this day and age, like ugh a simple 2 bedroom house going for millions, it's honestly mind boggling in my opinion.

But anyway back on point, my dad was a neuroscientist, well known in Europe and my mother a corporate manager for some company that helped the military, so yeah, the got paid a fair sum annually, so no, I never struggled for anything whilst I was with them in the UK, I was well behaved, did the necessary things around the house, it was peaceful... It was nice.

Arthur's thoughts- Ahh memories... *sniffle* I miss them dearly, I really do. *clears throat* w-what? I'm not crying! Y-you are! B-baka!

Well anyway, swiftly moving on, here's a little story all about how my life got fl... wait nope, we're not there yet, here's a little on my time in Japan to bore you further!

I have a small apartment on the outskirts of Tokyo, it's.... Expensive, I won't lie, it's incredibly expensive, especially for one such as myself, and myself being a student without a job *cough* I'm too lazy *cough* and no source of income other than the small amount I get from my parents due to them wanting me to get things done by myself, it sometimes gets quite hard, but I manage to get by with the few little jobs I do for the neighbours and small business owners in need of a helping hand. I'll agree with my parents, when I said I wanted to get away and study in Japan and was finally allowed after my teachers and my own persuasion worked, going to Japan, let alone studying here was practically my dream since I started watching anime, I expected troubles with money, I really did, but I was prepared, I had quite a large sum of money saved but it was still MUCH harder than I expected, just as my parent said it would be.

I started my college course in September 2020, which brought me to now, as I said, average grades, boring life. I was truly working towards one of those office jobs people talk about, y'know the 9-5 office job thing, yeah you get the point. I had a few friends, the casual, we sometimes went out, had some fun and I came back to my apartment poorer than when I left it, just so I could stupidly indulge myself in what other people count as fun. I had a few girlfriends, I was quite good looking so it was possible to get one, but I never really felt anything for them, not like I thought I would, we never got past hugging, kissing, that sort of thing, so yeah, an 18 year old virgin weeb in Japan... Yup, didn't see that one coming did you *chucke*, of course you did.

I always felt I was different, never really fit in with a crowd, don't get me wrong, I tried, but I just didn't, so when I was introduced to anime...Ma lord it was like some God blessed me. And I thought I'd hate it! Ara ara~, I was a sussy Baka back then. It's true what they say you know? When you finish that first episode, it's truly over for you, it sucks you in like a black hole and swarms your life, never to see so much as a little daylight again, I binged watched for days on end, huhu "eons pass like days", truly, those days turned to months, that's why my grades are so average, I stopped studying and started binging, like a real weeb! Hell yeah! But yep, after anime, it was like a cycle, I went from anime, to manga (haha those cultivation's ones), to light novels, and then when all the legit stuff was gone, I went to fan fictions, to see if people could come up with anything interesting, and to my surprise, even after those manga's and light novels, the real stuff for ROB's sake! It was some of the best stuff I ever read, it was great! Reading about those MC's that got isekai'd or transmigrated after dying because they saved some God loli, or getting hit by truck-kun, HAH, they were so cliche, but I loved them with a passion!

But they had to run out at some point as well...

When all forms of that sort of entertainment ran out, life got exceedingly boring, it was like clockwork, get up, morning routine, go to college, go home, watch YouTube, go to sleep... And repeat, day in, day out, it was all the same. I prayed to any ROB's out there, any old bearded male, any daughter of some one-above-all, ANYONE AT ALL TO ANSWER MY PRAYER! But nothing ever came, I even used my birthday wish, and the shooting stars I saw when stargazing, hoping for an answer to my calling, a sign that something would happen, a show of belonging, of truth!

To say the least, it didn't come, I didn't really expect it to, I mean who would I be to assume that some alright being, who looks over multiple universes! Would hear my prayer and answer my call to give me somewhere to belong. So I just carried on with my family life.

The end...

Well obviously it wasn't the end or we wouldn't be here, going through my life story, who would want to do that without some positive ending?

Well, now that we're done with the formal introduction and auto-biography of my life.. Let's get onto the good stuff, and how I was reincarnated into the fiction world of highschool DxD!
