1 Chapter 1

| Artemis pov |

When she looked up, she saw a tan young man with golden-orange eyes, she could've sworn they were glowing slightly, with his hair being a pitch black, he was wearing a black uniform, with a black cape down to his ankles. He had a confused expression on his face as he looked at her. When she looked at him he had turned away slightly.

She was debating if she should run or not. He doesn't look like he'd hurt her but she knows better than to judge a book by it's cover.

Just as she had started to get up to run away, he had started walking. It was as if he hadn't even seen her.

She looked at his back with a confused, but also surprised expression. She thought for hardly even a second as she got up and started to walk behind him.

------

She had been silently following him for a while now. It was clear that he had been trying to ignore her but he finally turned his head and looked at her with a very 'wtf' expression.

She just looked him in the eye. Not saying anything as she continued to follow behind him despite the way he was looking at her until he stopped and turned around.

"Can I help you?" He asked, still with a 'wtf' expression.

She just shook her head and then continued to look up at him.

"..."

"..."

"Go away."

She just shook her head again as she continued to look up at him.

"Why?" The 'wtf' expression finally faded as he just blankly looked at her.

"..." She opened her mouth as if she was gonna say something but she stayed silent. She turned away with a slightly guilty expression, which would have been a rather cute scene if they weren't surrounded by dead bodies still.

He just looked at her blankly for another moment before he turned and started walking again… As she followed behind him…. Again.

-----

After a while of walking, they finally arrived at where she assumed was his destination.

There were people all wearing a similar uniform as he was wearing, although his was a little more 'fancy' than theirs. At Least she thought so.

"Report." She heard him say as she turned to look at him again. One of the uniformed men was now standing in front of them as he started to list injured, dead, and some other things which she didn't understand so she just stayed silent and started to look around again.

She noticed some of the uniformed people glancing at her every now and then but that was all. They just continued what they were doing, some were treating injured, some were talking, some were just passing by.

After waiting for a bit. The uniformed guy had stopped talking to the black haired man and they continued walking. And of course by they, she was still following him. He did glance at her one more time but he didn't say anything.

-----

After walking through a few more corridors they had finally arrived at the exit out of the building.

She looked back and realized that it was a castle-like structure in the middle of a forest.

Now that she was out she debated if she should run away, it didn't appear like he was going to stop her if she tried. But then she looked around and realized… It was trees, and nothing but trees. There wasn't even a path. So she just bit her lip and continued following behind him.

After walking for not too long, they arrived in a small clearing. There were creatures she had never seen before just lazing around. They appeared to be mounts by the harnesses on their backs.

Her guess was confirmed as the black haired man got onto a horse… And by horse, well… she looked up at the pitch black horse at least a head taller than the man, with wings like shadows blowing in the wind, and a long black horn on top it's head, just above it's golden yellow eyes.

As she was staring at the horse in awe, she came to her senses as she realized an important problem… So how is she supposed to follow him now?

Editor: **Well his outfit is ugly but at least he's hot- ;)**

Author: **She just doesn't know what fashion is, ignore her.
