127 Vol. 05 Ch. 08 – Chaos at Level 6

The Devil Fruit is a mystical and mysterious fruit found all over the world which, when consumed, gives the eater superhuman strength at the expense of the eater's ability to swim. Devil Fruits can grant the user a wide variety of powers that can be used in many ways, from simple utility to powerful attacks. The Devil Fruit has a circulation cycle when a Devil Fruit user dies, his ability to be reborn in a new fruit within another similar fruit and awaits the next user. But very few people know about the latter as no one kills a devil fruit user carrying various fruits nearby.

Because of that cycle, the marine does not execute special Devil Fruit user prisoners afraid if the Devil Fruit reappears in the world it could cause a big mess if used by the wrong person. For Arthur, Impel Down was the right place to get Devil Fruits because he knew who the users were now. No patrol guard could stop Arthur from descending the stairs to level 6, nor did he forget to spread the [Mark] he had stored in his storage ring and he finally arrived at his destination.

Arthur: "Excuse me, I'm looking for prison number 13." Arthur who arrived at level 6 immediately became the center of attention of the prisoners.

Guard: "Yes, Chief Warden Magellan." The guards immediately ran to level 4 where Hannyabal asked everyone to get ready.

Magellan: "I don't know what you want by break-in the Impel Down, but don't expect to be able to break out, Phantasm D Arthur, ex-Tenryuubito, captain of ART Pirates with bounty 880 million B." Magellan already knew who was going to be his opponent and had no intention of hold back his attacks.

The Devil Fruit eaten by Magellan is the Venom-Venom Fruit where this Paramecia-type Devil Fruit can give the user the ability to produce and control various types of poison, as well as provide immunity to all forms of poison, turning Magellan into a Poison Man. In battle, Magellan coats himself with liquid poison to transform into armor, preventing opponents from easily landing direct physical attacks without being poisoned in the process. Even though his appearance looks like a Logia-type Devil Fruit user but he still has his full body underneath his poison armor which will still take damage if he is hit.

Arthur: "You came just in time to say goodbye as I'll be getting out of here, Chief Warden Magellan." Arthur, who needed to raise his head to look directly at the more than three times tall Magellan, spoke casually as usual.

Magellan: "Oh, why are you in such a hurry. I still have a lot of prison cells that you can choose and use here, so why don't you walk inside instead of me having to force you.
