2 Starting the cultivation system
Nine Wei woke up from her reverie and glanced at the familiar surrounding of her rented house. She had rented this one room apartment with her scholarship money.
The atmosphere of this place is quite friendly and close to her school so she rented it. Her younger brother wanted a separate room for himself in their two-room apartment so she suggested this idea. Her adoptive parents only gives her three hundred a month and the rest of her needs is covered from what she gets from her scholarship.
Ning Wei suddenly heard a sound in her mind.

Ning Wei's mind went blank for a moment and she appeared at a strange place.
A large area covered with peach blossoms and other plants. A lake is situated in the centre area with a pavilion in the middle of it. Ning Wei stepped on the path leading to the pavilion; upon entering she came across a glowing egg. The egg cracked and a little kitten came out of it.
The little kitten's appearance is of milky white in colour with abundant fur on the body. It looked at Ning Wei with a innocent gaze with it's black onix eyes.
"Welcome master!"
"!!!!!"
Ning Wei was filled with curiosity as to why a cat appeared from an egg when the kitten spoke out in a cute way.
"Who is your master?"
She felt some fantasy novel's plot is going on.
The little kitten replied in an obvious way, "Of course its you. The system's master is my master."
"Wait! Wait! What is going on here? A system? Like in the kind that appears in novels??"
Ning Wei felt perhaps she had gotten too fed up with her life to create hallucinations.
The little kitten felt its master couldn't understand it and spoke up in a very simple version.
"You are choosen for the art cultivation system to help you in successfully becoming an artist. The system will provide you with training on painting, calligraphy, designing, martial arts, music, embroidery, culinary as the major courses and host can also request for other trainings provided host has gathered enough information about it".
"Help me with so many things.....wait! Is my rebirth related to you?" Ning Wei felt the world going crazy.
"Yes. Master fulfilled the qualifications so the system chose you as the host. You are lucky!" The kitten smiled shyly at her.
Ning Wei took a deep breath and tried to digest all the information. She looked observed the cute little kitten who came from a egg and felt that it wasn't a dream. If it was then maybe she would never wake up.
What felt like a long time, Ning Wei finally spoke up. "So how do I train?"
The kitten sprang up on its feet and spoke while swishing its tail. "Master you have to summon the controller and then select the art form you want to practice and it will provide the necessities. You can then train as much as you can."
"Controller?" Ning Wei was confused on how to do that.
Suddenly a screen appeared in front of Ning Wei with all the details. The left most corner contains all her details and below that various art forms are written.
Ning Wei tapped on painting and the information was viewed.

"Only C? I painted quite well but it is only C level?" Ning Wei suddenly felt a bit discouraged. She loved to paint and practised very hard. Even in difficult times she never left painting.
"It depends on master's overall talent. Master has only tried the three techniques so it is necessary to unlock new ones. Once your level satisfies the system it will provide the suitable technique for the user."
Ning Wei tapped on the item icon in the right hand corner and various painting items was displayed.
"The painting items displayed are according to the level of master's painting. Once the next level is achieved new items will be unlocked. Master can also bring the items in the outside world provided that only master uses it." The little kitten quickly told the details so she can understand the importance of space.
After half an hour, Ning Wei fully understood the system's functions. She wasn't in the right mind after getting such huge information so decided to practice from tomorrow.
"By the way, do you have a name?" Ning Wei looked at kitten and asked.
"I don't have a name but master can give me one." The little kitten spoke with sparkling eyes.
Ning Wei pondered for a moment, "Then your name should be Xiao Bai". She nodded to herself for coming up with such a name.
The little kitten paused on swishing its tail. By the time its recovered Ning Wei had went back. It wanted to cry without tears.
