298 AC:

it was 14 years since I came to GOT, a lot happened in 14 years, but most importantly my father just came from king's landing to check on his son, actually, he comes once every year to visit and check on how things are going, in the tv series this is the year my father dies, and I'm planning to stop that from happening by injecting him with the regeneration serum which I will slow to only 20 times the normal speed, which is enough to kill the poison and will be hard to notice, I plan to do it in the night before he goes back to king's landing.

as I enter the dining room I find my father and mother waiting for me, after I sit in my seat wich facing my father's, while my mother is sitting in the seat to his right.

Jon Arryn: so, how is life fairing to you Arslan?

me: it's going well, how's king's landing?

Jon Arryn: a shithole as it always was and will be, plots everywhere.

after a little chat, and after eating I go back to my room.

I noticed that my mother did not talk even once, I guess that that is what a loveless marriage does.

I will go to my father's room at midnight to inject him with serum.

after doing my before-sleep exercises, I shower and then change my clothes and go to sleep.

just as I put my head in my bed.

I start hearing some noises outside my room like someone is yelling and then...

"KNOCK" "KNOCK" "KNOCK"

I look at the door.

me: enter

and the door opens and a guard enters,

me: what is it?

I said as I put my dagger under the pillow.

the guard: my prince, it's your father.

I stop what I'm doing and look at him.

me: what is it about my father.

the guard looks at me nervous worried about his head for what he's about to say.

me: spill it out.

the guard: your father is dead.

me: WHAT!!!?

that can't be, my father is supposed to be poisoned by the Lannisters at king's landing.

no wait, it's not the Lannisters, it's my mother, yes I just remembered it's my mother who did it by the orders of Petyr.

me: take me to him.

I said as he started taking me to my father's room.

after I got there I can see my father sleeping peacefully.

when noticed, all the maids and servants and guard were looking at me with sorrow in their eyes I look at his right and I can see my mother does not even look sad, no one can blame her, as even is she wasn't the one who poisoned him, it was known that their marriage is loveless.

after I check my father and call him a few times without response, I look at a servant.

me: send a raven to the lords of the vail, Jon Arryn, Lord of the vail is dead, we will hold a meeting the day after tomorrow to decide what to do from here on.

the servant nods and leaves, I turn to my mother.

me: can I talk to you for a second?

she nods and follows me to the throne room, after we reached the throne room, I looked at the guards.

me: leave us

and they left.

I turn to my mother and said.

as I say this my mother looks at me with a shocked face.

mother: what do you mean, no, of course I didn't, I would never do something like...

me: STOP!!

I cut her half trough her sentence, and she stops and looks at me.

me: I know you did this on the orders of that snake called Petyr.

I said as I got even closer to her, as she looked shocked again

mother: no, that's not true, they lied to you.

me: mother, admit it, admit it so that I can find it in my heart to forgive you, admit it so that I don't have to kill my mother.

I said as I looked her in the eye, so she can see I'm not joking

and then she admitted after knowing that there is no way around this, and I punished her by house arresting her for an indefinite amount of time, she was then taken to her room that she will not leave except for nature's call by guards that didn't know why but followed the orders nonetheless.

.the 2 days later, the lords, of the vale came to hold the meeting, it was then decided the day after the burial ceremony will be the day I will become the lord paramount of the vale.

they were also convinced that my father died of the disease using Lelouch's Geass(although in the anime it was said that the Geass only affect the nerves system, but this Geass is without restrictions )

after the news was spread across Westeros, people were shocked by the sudden death of Jon Arryn, and people could feel the shadows of war closing on them.
