5 Part 3(The Unexpected Meet)

Arnav dials a number.

Arnav: Hello I am A.S.R. Am I talking to Detective Decosta??

Decosta: Yes! How I can I help you, sir?

Arnav: I want you to find me some information about someone. Also his current details. Where does he go? Whom does he meet?

Decosta: Alright Sir. But what is the agenda? I mean we need to know what should be the topic that I must be focusing on?

Arnav: Actually he is my close friend but I think there is something which he is hiding. I want to know what is he planning? Is that enough for you?

Decosta: Yes! It would work rest we will find. You just email me his photo, his address and phone number.

Arnav: Ya sure, you will get it in 10 minutes message me your email Id and I need this work to be done as soon as possible.

Decosta: okay.

Arnav cuts the call. After some time someone knocks at the cabin door.

Arnav: Come in

Mr Mehta. : Sir that's the file.

Arnav: Ya thanks. I will see it.

Mr Mehta: Anything else sir.

Arnav: No that's all.

Khushi enters A.R. premises and again she felt her heartbeats racing.

Khushi to herself: Oh! Devi Maiya Why is this happening? Is he here?

No no Khushi it is just because you are here in his company.

Here in his cabin Arnav too felt his heart beating fast.

Arnav's thought: Why I am feeling as if she is here. No way she cannot be. Damn it's just because am tired. I should complete the file and leave. I am overthinking.

Downstairs

Khushi: Hello, We are from venditt. We got a call.

Receptionist: Just give me a minute. Hello, Lavanya Ma'am there is someone from venditt.

Hello Lavanya Ma'am there is someone from venditt

Lavanya: Ya send them to My cabin.

Khushi, Akash and Payal go into the cabin.

Lavanya: Hey, actually the systems are not working correctly would you check?

Khushi: Sure Ma'am.

The trio starts their work.

Finally, they are able to resolve the matter

Lavanya: Thank You So much.

Khushi: Okay then, we will take our leave.

Lavanya along with the trio comes out of Lavanya's cabin.

At the same time, Arnav also comes out of his cabin to go home.

Khushi was walking and talking with Payal and Akash and that's when Arnav noticed her. He was downstairs now.

And then he saw that the floor where she was about to walk was wet. And before she could fell down.

Arnav shouted "careful" and caught her in his arms.

Khushi's eyes were still closed as she was anticipating pain which never came.

For a moment she felt so secure. She felt familiar. She knew this touch. It was his touch. He used to hold her like this whenever she would fall.

Flashback

Arnav and Khushi were walking in a park. And Khushi was telling him about her day in college.

Arnav was listening attentively. When suddenly Khushi hit her leg with a stone and was about to fall.

Khushi "Careful," said arnav saving her before she could fall. Arnav was still holding her in his arms

Arnav: Cannot you see and walk Jaan.

Khushi: No, I cannot because I have you Arnav to save me.

Arnav: Ya but what if I wasn't here?

Khushi: Won't you be there with me always, love?

Arnav: Offcourse I will be there for you always.

Khushi(Smiling): Okay so I am not worried even if I will fall. I know you will be there. By the way, now Can I stand?

Arnav: What if I say no Jaan.

Khushi: Love, please.

Arnav: Alright.

Flashback ends

Khushi opens her eyes but didn't express any emotions she knew Arnav could read her eyes she immediately stands up.

Arnav too leaves her.

Arnav's thought: Her eyes still have that purity but they look so blank.

Khushi's thought: Damn! He hasn't changed even a bit. So caring and concerned like before.

Both were still lost in their own thoughts.

This whole of the scene was observed by someone who was now fuming and splitting fire from eyes.

The person went away not able to see them together.

Their chain of thoughts was broken as Payal spoke

Payal: Di are you okay?

Khushi : Yeah I am okay Payal. Umm thanks Mr..??

Payal(shocked): Di don't you don't know him. He is Arnav Singh Raizada.

Payal took out pen and paper

Payal(excited): Sir please Can you give me your autograph. I am your fan. In such a small age and you have achieved so much. It's so appreciable.

Arnav: Thanks Payal. But you need not praise me.

Payal: You know my name? How?

Arnav: Your di(focusing on word 'di') took your name.

Akash didn't know why but he didn't like it when Payal was so openly praising a man in front of him. Was he feeling jealous?

Khushi: Oh! Well, thanks, Mr Raizada for saving me. I think we should leave now.

Akash in mind: Isn't he Arnav di's senior ?? Oh! Yes, he is but obviously how would di remember.

Khushi: Akash What are you waiting for? Let's go.

The trio left.

Arnav too got out of the office to go to his home. His mood was totally off. He needed some peace before he heads towards home.

Arnav sat in his car to start for a place which always gave him peace.

Khushi told Akash and Payal to go back to the office. As she had some work so she would return later.

This was just an excuse she needed some time to digest whatever just happened in A.R... She wanted to be alone for some time.
