3 IT'S TOO LATE.

After crying for an hour in her husband's embrace, she slowed down. Nathan could only hear her little sniffles and then pulled her to face him. A unknown pain was lingering in his heart looking at Emily cry like that.

Nathan realized that he has seen away from her for a along time and now he has to interfere in her life. He than observed her stained red rosey cheeks. He wiped fresh tears with his thumbs cupping her face. her eyes were blood shot from crying so hard.

Nathan wanted to know what was actually wrong with her company and Thames Danvers.

He then slowly hugged her again and questioned her.

" Why is your father asking money from you? and why were you asking him where he was. He will be at their house in Sydney right? "

Emily was not ready to answer. she was not done crying. Still she wanted to share it with him.

Just as she was about to reply, Kate came inside the study room and was shocked seeing them both on the cold floor and was worried looking a Emily' s face. She went near them.

" oh my god! Emily are you ok?. why are you crying?. nath-"

Seeing her mother in law, Emily moved away from Nathan and wiped her face with the long sleeves of her shirt. she wanted to clear her mind and stop crying. she got up from the floor and went towards Kate. she said " I am fine mum. " with this, Emily escaped from the mother and son. she then went straight to the kitchen.

she tooka promise from me that I won't tell Emily until her final stage, when she is in hospital. "

Nathan stood up from the ground.

" I called Emily when the doctors informed me that Ester has only few days left. before calling her, I call you. but you were drunk that day and not in conscious. I asked your father to get Emily to Sydney. when she came, Emily never left her mother's side. "
