10 Best friend: The saviour

THIRD PERSON POV:

In both the houses everyone is up and following their daily routine. Today Ritwik is on cloud nine he have that never ending smile on his face and only Kushan noticed it. As usual they all left for their works after taking breakfast.

In Mehta Organizers:

Palak is finishing her progress report of yesterday which is being submitted to her dad or boss before leaving to Oberoi’s. Before submitting it she made a copy of it which is also being submitted to Oberoi’s. Then, she submits it and informs that she is going to Oberoi’s.

Later, on finishing her work she head towards Oberoi’s. There they started their work. Ritwik’s PA informs that Palak with her team are reported to the venue and started their work. They both are busy in their own work so they didn’t get time to meet or greet each other.

It is past lunch time but no one acknowledges that as they are busy in their work. Meanwhile, Ritwik’s PA comes and tell Palak that Ritwik sir invited her for lunch. Listening this, she looks at her watch and notices that it is past lunch time, so she order everyone to take a break.

“Sorry, I can’t come but please send this to your sir.” She said handing him a tiffin box. He nodded and left from there and headed to Ritwik’s cabin to inform him.

He reaches in his office with tiffin box and tells him that she is not coming for lunch and she had given this tiffin box for you.

Ritwik takes the tiffin box and opens it. The smell brings a smile on his face. It is Ritwik’s favorite ‘Thepla'. He thinks to message Palak but he remembers that he don’t have her number so he dm her on instagram.

Palak is taking rest for some while and she thought to check her phone whether some mail or important message is there or not. Then she noticed Ritwik’s message, she opens it and sees it. The message is, Thanks for thepla

now you have brought it for me, you have to join me for the lunch and I’m not taking no from you. Otherwise I’ll not eat this.

Reading this message, she without replying left to Ritwik’s cabin. She knocked and hears the come in.

She enters inside and complains to Ritwik, “Mr. Oberoi you seriously so stubborn.”

“Yes, I am. If I’ll eat this without you then along with stubborn I’ll become selfish too.” Ritwik said gesturing Palak to sit.

“It’s only for you, so you can have it alone.” Palak said taking the seat.

“You brought it for me so I wanted to share it with you.” Ritwik said then he orders her PA to bring their lunch.

Listening this Palak said, “No need Mr. Oberoi.”

“I’m not taking no from you and I have already ordered our lunch and I’m sure you don’t waste food.”

“OK fine, I don’t know how your mom handles your tantrums.” She said playfully.

Listening this, he felt little bad but he didn’t show it on his face and replies her, “I usually don’t throw tantrums on anyone.”

“OK I take it.”

Meanwhile their lunch arrives and they starts having it and Ritwik is having theplas with so much concentration. Palak is little smiling looking at Ritwik’s face. They finished their lunch and after sometime Palak said, “Can we resume our work?”

“Ya sure but you haven’t submitted yesterday’s report yet.” Ritwik said making an excuse to spend some more time with her.

“Oh, I forgot about it, I’ll submit it by 4.” She said while hitting her forehead.

“Ms. Palak you were supposed to submit it yesterday only.” Ritwik said with a little sharp tone.

“It’s just a daily report, not an important document that, when you miss it and your company will have to bear losses.” She said annoyingly by raising one of her eyebrow.

“It is important for me and I want it in an hour on my desk.” He said authoratively.

“Mr. Oberoi you are impossible, it’s just a daily report and you have made a mess of it and I’ll submit it to you before half an hour.” She said and leaves the cabin.

“Is she the same girl whom I met that day?” He murmurs to himself and resumes his work.

She is on site and completing her report. She completes it in few minutes and to submit it she goes towards Ritwik’s cabin and reaching there she knocks the door and here the come in.

She enters and puts it on the desk and said in low tone, “I have submitted it before time.” And she lefts the cabin without listening anything. Seeing this behavior of Palak, Ritwik thinks that she is workaholic but she doesn’t likes that someone interrupts in her work.

Palak is in lobby when she gets the call of Tani.

Before Tani can say anything Palak said irritatingly, “See, you’re THE RITWIK OBERIO is so rude.”

Tani – Hii to you too my Aloo? She said sarcastically.

Palak – Stop being sarcastic I’m already annoyed.

Tani – Now what happened and why are saying that Ritwik is rude?

Palak tells her everything and listening this Tani started laughing.

Palak – Did I crack a joke?

Tani – You are impossible Palak, I mean who gets annoyed on this little thing that too by Ritwik.

Palak – Stop your one sided talks and tell me why did you call me at this time?

Tani – Haww, you are breaking BFF rule.

Palak – What rule?

Tani – You can’t ask your BFF that why she called you, so better remember this.

Palak – Like seriously, you and your stupid rules.

Tani – These are not stupid, you are stupid.

Palak – Taniii !!! I’m already irritated now you don’t start your drama.

Tani – Fine, don’t spoil your mood, I was just joking.

Palak – I don’t know why I’m behaving like this.

Tani – I’ll come to your place at night to meet you so now cheer up and resume your work, we’ll meet you soon.

Palak – Now I’m happy, can’t wait to meet you.

Tani – Now keep your phone aside or else Ritwik will say anything and your mood will be spoiled again. Then you’ll spoil my mood too.

Palak – OK fine bye! Saying this she hangs up the call.

She is descending the stairs and Ritwik is behind her who comes to check on work at the site. He is busy in his phone that he didn’t even notice Palak.

Both are in their worlds when suddenly Palak missteps and is about to fall but to her luck Ritwik sees her and saves her from falling.

Palak is in Ritwik’s arms and due to fear of fall she holds Ritwik’s hand tightly. He is admiring her frown on forehead, tightly closed eyes and closed lips. Not feeling any kind of pain, she opens her eyes and sees Ritwik and she realizes that his hands are on her waist, she comes out of his arms and removes his hands from her waist. Ritwik comes out from his dreamland and stands still.

“Thank you Mr. Oberoi.” saying this she walked away without giving him chance to speak anything.

Whole day passed like this, Palak doing her work and Ritwik busy in his work. They didn’t see each other after that incident. Before leaving for home, she submits today’s report to Ritwik’s PA and also takes a copy of it to submit in her office.

When she reached her home, Tani with cute viaan is waiting for her and seeing Tani she runs into her arms and hugs her and all her tiredness flies away.

“You go and freshen up then we’ll chit chat.” Saying this Tani breaks the hug and pushes Palak towards her room.

After freshing up she comes out in living room and notices that everyone are having fun playing video games with Tani that too without her.

She move towards Veer and sits besides him and pokes on his cheeks.

“Su thayu?” Veer asks stopping her poking his cheeks. (What happened?)

“Tame badha mara vagar masti karo cho !! Palak said with a poker face. ( You all are having fun without me!!)

“Chal Chal tu pan aavi jaa.” Tani said gesturing Palak sit to beside her. ( You also come here)

“Na mane pahela jamvu che.” Saying this she moves towards dinning table and everyone follows her one by one. ( I want to have dinner first)

Everyone sits on dining table and they started dinner with lots of fun as Tani is here and no one can sit silent in her presence. After finishing dinner, Palak and Tani is helping Smita in kitchen. Later, both bff goes to her balcony to spend some time.

Both are sitting silently on balcony’s floor and leaning on the wall with hot chocolate. Palak’s head is leaned on Tani’s shoulder and Tani’s head on Palak’s head.

“Still you mood is low?” Tani asks.

“I don’t know, I’m just not feeling good.” Palak replies.

“When I called you in afternoon your mood was good after talking with me, so what happened suddenly.” Tani questioned.

Listening this Palak shares about today’s stair incident.

“Oh My God! The magical moment, you and Ritwik Oberoi in each others arms!!!” Tani said with dreamy eyes.

“Chup Tha navri, koi pan topic par chalu thai jaay che.” ( Shut up idiot, you can start on any topic.)

“Pote magical moment karine aavi che aane have mane chup thavanu kahe che, aavu toh nai chale !!” (You solely done your magical moment and now you are saying me to shut up, it’s not done!!)

“Tani tu maar khaish aaje pahela thi dimag kharab che aane have tu pan mane heran karu chu.” ( Tani I’ll gonna beat you already I’m frustrated and you are also troubling me.)

“Saru have nai heran karu pan ae toh keh k Ritwik ni scent kevi hati?” ( OK fine I’ll not trouble you but tel how was Ritwik’s scent)

“Bandh tha have, bau thayu.” ( Stop it now, it’s enough)

“OK let’s talk about tomorrow’s outing, what are you going to wear?”

Palak stands up and opens her wardrobe and said , “You choose for me.”

Tani gets up and starts searching in her wardrobe and after twenty minutes, she finds a perfect dress for Palak. It is black, Puff sleeves, bodycon above knees. Than they matches accessories with it.

After finalizing everything Palak asks Tani, “What about you?”

“I have already decided my outfit, I’m not like you tortoise.”

Listening this Palak throws pillow on Tani’s face and Tani hits back and then started their pillow fight. They both are running hear and there jumping on bed, hitting each other. After sometime they both gets tired so they lay down on bed and laughing their hearts out.

After chatting for some more time, Tani lefts for her home and Palak slips in her dreamland.

AT OBEROI VILLA:

RITWIK’S POV:

After finishing work in office, I left to home and have dinner with whole family and sits in living room after dinner as usual. Later, everyone lefts for their respective rooms and me too. After freshen up I laid down on bed holding phone and checking emails and messages. After some while, I remembered how my day was!

Day by day work load is increasing. Thinking of my business and work load and staff managing, I suddenly remembers about Ms.Palak and today’s different nature of her. She have something that makes her different from everyone. By the way, I think she is upset with my behavior at lunch time. But what can I do, work should be our priority. Thinking all this I slept.
