7 Chapter 6.

*recap*

We all sat down at the table and my lips tugged up in a smirk as I realised that y/n was going to be sitting opposite to me.

Well this is going to be fun.

*present*

*Y/n's point of view*

I set up the table along with Leah as my aunt and aunty were finishing up in the kitchen. At this point, I just started ignoring Leah's remarks and teasing. Though I couldn't stop the heat in the tips of my ears and cheeks.

I settled in my chair after the food was placed and everyone were seated in their respective chairs. After sitting down comfortably and resting my plate of food in front of me, I looked up and my eyes darted back down immediately when I realised who was sitting in front of me.

Jongin.

And I don't know if I was seeing things or what, but I swear I saw him send me an evil grin, but when I looked up again, his smile looked almost innocent. Almost. But somehow devilish, too.

How? I do not know. But I could tell he was up to no good.

And just then Leah settled into the chair on my right and Mrs Kim on my left. If Jongin pulled anything, I'm screwed. Leah would never let it go and Mrs Kim.... Let's not go there for now.

For a few moments it was peaceful. Light chatter coming from my uncle and Minseok, as they seemed to be talking about something very interestedly.

Sports probably. Men. Sigh.

The ladies were also talking about something that I didn't pay mind to. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't understand anyway.

That left Jongin and I. Quietly eating our food.

That was, until, Jongin's foot came in contact with mine. I jumped slightly not expecting his leg to be so close to mine. Was he doing this on purpose?

One look at his face and I knew it.

I gulped, trying to move my leg away from his, as his ankles locked around my right ankle, holding on and not budging.

I tried to pull my leg away but no such luck.

I glared up at him, trying to ignore the tingling in the bare skin of my leg rubbing against his.

He just smirked back at me.

Jerk.

Just then, Leah had to turn to me and start a conversation. About studies. I awkwardly answered her, trying to hide the fact that I was this close to kicking the devil seated opposite to me in the shins and flipping him off for making my skin tingle, my palms sweat and my heart race.

God, I was acting like a high school girl getting nervous in front of her crush.

Oh no wait.

That thought totally didn't help my condition. At all.

And looks like Leah had asked me a question and I had zoned out, because when I snapped out of my thoughts I noticed her giving me a raised eyebrow.

"I-I'm sorry.. What did you say?" I stuttered out trying to gain back whatever dignity I had left.

I lifted my glass to my lips, drinking water and trying to distract myself from the mortification I would face if anyone found out what exactly was going on under the table.

Just then she had to smirk and lean across the table slightly, and whisper just loud enough for me and the devil across to hear her.

"You can let go of her leg now."
