Chapter Two - arranged love

"Yes, I do."

His eyes were a very beautiful shade of brown. It caught the light and sparkled. It looked like there were tiny stars in them.

I heard someone clear their throat and started when I saw that it was my uncle raising his eyebrows at me.

I flushed, again.

That was like the millionth time today? I swear from the amount of heat I could feel in my cheeks, my face could probably melt metal.

"Aww did you see that? Looks like they both really do like each other. What from the way they were staring at each other." Leah, honey, no-

"Well... I guess it's time for lunch preparations. Y/n? Come help me in the kitchen." my aunt said, standing up and smiling at me.

To be honest, I was grateful for the intervention.

But to my horror, Leah also stood up and offered to help. Along with Mrs Kim. The sidelong look she gave me told me she wasn't done yet.

"No no. You are our guests. I can't-"

"Nonsense. We're basically family now. Right y/n?" Mrs Kim, not you too.

"Mrs Kim, please-"

"Oh darling, just call me aunty. Mrs Kim is too formal and makes me feel old." she joked and I grinned before following the ladies into the kitchen.
