8 CHAPTER EIGHT

Jeonghan left the Student Council Office after he finished fixing all the paper works that were left.

He's spacing out. Wondering if he did the right decision to agree with Seungcheol's offer. It's 50$ payment, who won't reject it? But, he's worrying about his girlfriend, Sowon. What will be her reaction once she knew this? Jeonghan messes up his hair as frustration started to eat him up. He even got more frustrated when he remembers Seungcheol's rules and conditions.

"But before we do this, I have my rules. The things you should follow during this deal." Seungcheol spoke, while Jeonghan was left with confusion. Jeonghan immediately feels that it's not going to be good.

"First rule, both of us should go out every weekend. There's no way that Areum will only bother me in my own house, for sure, she will also follow me everywhere I go." Seungcheol started to discuss everything. Jeonghan sighed, "But, Sowon and I always go out every weekend." He always goes out with Sowon whenever it's his free time. "Looks like you'll meet less now," Seungcheol said. Jeonghan rolled his eyes as he whined inside. He can't let two weekends pass by without being with Sowon.

"Second, you should hold my hand publicly, we will never know if she's wandering with us around without us noticing her," Seungcheol said, and Jeonghan widened his eyes, "WHAT?! Hold your hands in public?! Are you serious?!" Jeonghan shouted, but Seungcheol shushed him, "Only when we go out, not here in school of course." Jeonghan breathed freely. He thought he's gonna do something lovey-dovey with Seungcheol here in school.

"Third, I will take and fetch you home everyday before and after school. Who knows if Areum stalks me up until here, right? But of course, I will take and fetch you home without anyone knowing. So tell me your schedule so I can change mine." Seungcheol said, Jeonghan whined inside. How can he even fetch and take Sowon home?

"The last rule is. . ."

Jeonghan shook his head. He came back in reality. He doesn't want to remember the last rule. It gives him chills. Suddenly, an arm wrapped around his shoulders, it was Jisoo.

"Hey, you seems to be spacing out. Are you alright?" Jisoo asked as he looked so worried with his friend. "Yeah, completely fine. Just, thinking about something." Jeonghan said and forced out a little smile.

"Let's go. Class might start soon," Jeonghan said and fasten his pace, and Jisoo let out a small smile as he walked with the same pace with Jeonghan.

Seungcheol went straight up to the cafeteria after talking with Jeonghan. Wonwoo texted him that the three of them are in the cafeteria to relax themselves a bit with some food.

"Hey," Seungcheol greeted and sat infront of Wonwoo. He noticed that Mingyu wasn't there. "Where's Mingyu?"

"At the counter, checking some ladies out," Wonwoo rolled his eyes as he spit out those words. Well, you know. . .

"So, how did it go?" Hansol asked. Yes, they knew what Seungcheol was up to. The three of them agreed, as Areum knows Seungcheol will never get attracted to guys, but, he did with Jeonghan. That's the logic.

"He agreed," Seungcheol spilled the beans and drank the coke infront of him with a smirk on his face.

"Just be careful with Jeonghan, Seungcheol," Wonwoo said, smirking. Seungcheol smirked even more, "Why would I? He's the one who should be careful with me," Seungcheol said, and placed down the coke he's drinking.

"You don't know his charms yet. Just be careful, you might fall without you knowing." Hansol said and laughed, Seungcheol scoffed. "I don't like guys. I didn't even date one," Seungcheol retorted, the two guys infront of him shrugged.

"But you'll experience it now," Wonwoo's last comment before they changed their topic.

Seungcheol was so firm he'll never fall. He's a guy, he don't like guys. He didn't date anyone the same gender as his. He's only interested in girls, that's the only thing he's sure of.

-

The class started. Seungcheol and his friends came just in time. Seungcheol smirked as he saw Jeonghan on his seat already, reading some books. Bookworm, just like Wonwoo. Seungcheol thought and walked straight to his seat. Jeonghan didn't bother to take a glance on him, or maybe he just didn't felt his presence, did he?

Seungcheol cleared his throat once, but still not getting Jeonghan's attention, he's too focused, you know. Seungcheol cleared it twice but much more louder and caught everyone's attention.

"Did you catch a cold? Here's some pill," a female student said, as she turned herself to Seungcheol, but Seungcheol didn't even paid attention on her, all he needs is to get Jeonghan's attention.

"Yah! Why aren't you paying attention on me?!" Seungcheol yelled, that caught everyone's attention again, but he doesn't care.

"What is it?" Jeonghan finally responded. Seungcheol was lost for a second before answering, "Nothing." Jeonghan just rolled his eyes. Seungcheol sighed in embarrassment. What is he even doing, right?

Mrs Nam entered the room, with some paper on her hands. Everyone in the class went silent, but Seungcheol just arrogantly sat there, not minding the Teacher's presence.

"Good morning. So, these papers I have on my hands, are the forms if anyone of you is interested being a Student Council. Mr Yoon's term as a President will end by this month, and also his members like Mr Boo and Mr Moon." Mrs Nam spoke formally, she turned her head on Jeonghan, "I hope you will run again, Mr Yoon. I see a lot of improvements here in school during your term. Keep up the good work," Mrs Nam complimented, Jeonghan bowed lightly at her as a thank you.

Jeonghan was still thinking twice if he should run again. He might, if Seungkwan will be on his party again. He only relies on Seungkwan.

"Plus, another announcement. By the end of the month, as Mr Yoon's term will end, we will hold a music fest here in Pledis University. Anyone can join and showcase their talents." Mrs Nam smiled. Students went excited after hearing the announcement. All happened in Jeonghan's term as a President.

"Let's continue our lesson now," Mrs Nam said and faced the board.

Seungcheol took a glance on Jeonghan, he can clearly see that he's excited for the Music Fest. Seungcheol just shrugged, as he knew it was a normal expression for someone like him, specially when it will be done on his last day of his term as President.

-

Classes were done, and now, they're heading to the cafeteria. Jeonghan fixed his things and went straight up to his friends. While walking with them, Jeonghan snatched his phone from his pocket, texting Sowon of course.

To : My Wish 💖

Have you eaten? Do you want to join us for lunch? I'll wait for your reply. See you!

After that, he hid his phone back in his pocket again and catched up with the four's speed. Both of them couldn't even spend time together. What more now when he agreed to Seungcheol's offer and there's no turning back.

"Hey, are you okay? You seemed to be spacing out since earlier," Jisoo asked. He touched Jeonghan's forehead and neck to see if he's having a fever, but no.

"You doesn't have any fever or something, but you seems so dull. Are you not feeling well?" Jisoo asked once again, checking him out, but Jeonghan forced out a smile. Jisoo knew he was faking it, but he let it slide because he knew that Jeonghan is not in the mood for talking.

They reached the cafeteria and saw many students gathering around the corner. "Whoa, what's with the chaos?" Jihoon wondered. The four sat at the table while Jihoon was the last one to sit.

"I guess it's about Seungcheol and his friends again. Students will never be that hype if it weren't them," Seungkwan said, and relaxed himself on the chair.

"I'm gonna get the food," Seokmin immediately volunteers, and Jisoo was thankful enough with Seokmin. He doesn't want to lose in rock paper scissors and get their orders again.

"Lucky enough today, aren't you?" Jihoon teased Jisoo, and Jisoo threw him a piece of a tissue paper. "Stop teasing, or I'll throw my phone on you," Jisoo threatened, Jihoon laughed at their childish acts, "As if you can throw that phone of yours on me," Jihoon dared and Jisoo sighed in defeat.

Jeonghan remained quiet, even though he smiles a bit when there's two bickering in them, but, he didn't bother to say a word, as he keeps on thinking about the deal.

"Jeonghan-ah!" a familiar voice of a girl called Jeonghan out. Jeonghan's fake smile turned into a super forced one. He doesn't want Sowon to notice that he's not in the mood for anything.

"Hey, how did your class go?" Jeonghan asked. He pulled a chair for Sowon who blushed for Jeonghan's sudden actions. "It went really well, and, I got casted for a modelling in Japan, it will be more than two months." Sowon sadly tells Jeonghan about the news. Jeonghan felt devastated. Can he even survive two freaking months without Sowon?

"I won't stop you. I know it's your dream so, go for it." Jeonghan smiled. He caressed her by her cheeks.

"Can you wait for me?"
