23 Twins

In a certain village, Qian Ru and Silver Star was walking on the streets why covered in white robe. The two of them attract the attention of the villagers, especially the males. The both of them continue their walk until they reach the center of the village. There, they saw a group of people throwing rocks at someone. The two approach them and saw two kid curled at each other while they were shivering, from their looks they should be about seven to eight years old. Their body was covered in multiple bruises.

"You two demon spawn are the causes of bad luck here in village" said one man as he throw rocks on the two children.

"It must be because of both of you that my wife leave me for another man. You two are really the jinx of this village" said an ugly unreasonable man.

They continue to berate, admonish and hit the two children.

When Qian Ru saw what was happening, he could not help but compare herself to the two kids. Even though her parents were already dead, and she feel depressed just remembering the past. She knew that she still has her Big brother for her. She knew that her big brother would never left her, and she also would never leave him.

With a move of her hand, the two children become envelope of light. Seeing the scene happening if front of them, the villagers stop what they are doing and steps back. Qian Ru removes the hood covering her head and move towards the two children, while Silver Star following behind her while gazing sharply at the villagers. Noticing that the shout and the throwing of rocks stopped, the two kids look up only to see a beautiful lady moving towards them.

Qian Ru kneeled in front of them and look at their faces, they were a young girl and a young boy. Their appearance were identical to each other signifying that they were twins. Everyone who see them would guess that they were just ordinary children, but when one look directly at their face, they would see that their eyes were different. The young girl has a red right eye and a left blue eye, while the young boy has left red eye and a right blue eye. The two of them look at her warily, the young girl hides the young boy behind her.

Qian Ru look at them a little surprised then she smile sweetly and said, "Don't worry, Big sister here will not hurt you." as she said that she touched their heads with her snow white hands. Her hands emit a green light that gives the two children a warm feeling. The bruises and injuries on their bodies began to heal instantly.

The villagers who saw this happening open their mouths wide in shock. Though there are cultivators on their village, they could be counted on one hand and they don't have the ability to heal wounds this fast.

Seeing that their wound have healed and sensing the warm feeling on their body, the two kids eyes slowly closed and fall asleep. Looking at the scene in front of her Qian Ru smile sweetly as she carefully separate the two kids afraid of waking them up. Qian Ru lift the young boy slowly and hand him over to the watching Silver Star, then she slowly carry the young girl in her arms and started to walk away.

Looking at the two ladies carrying the kids, an old villager shouted, "Young ladies, you cannot take them. You see their eyes right, clearly they are not human, they are demons. They would only bring bad luck and calamity towards the two ladies."

Qian Ru stopped and look at the old man and said, "Whether they are humans or not, whether they would bring calamity or bad luck to me has nothing to do with you." she said icily that makes the old mans face pale.

"You plan to take them away, do you think I will let you do that. I will only let you take them away if the both of you agree to sleep with me.Or else you can just forget of taking them." a muscular man said as he smiled lecherously at the two of them. He is the strongest in their village being an early stage martial fighter. He is also the chief of this village that is why he do whatever he wants even sleeping with someone else's wife. The moment he saw these two beautiful lady, he said to himself that they would belong to him.

Seeing them not moving and also not replying to him, he thought that they agreed to sleep with him and walk towards them. As he was approaching them a man suddenly appear in front of him which gave him so much scare that he yelp in surprise.

He look at the man in front of him, the man was looking at him with a menacing gaze, his hair was swept back, with a strand hanging down his face. He was wearing a white clothes with a pink sash around his waist which hold a sword on it. As he was about to say something, he hear the mans voice.

"Base on your little strength and the way you act, clearly you are a frog in a well. You think you are powerful? Then let me show you what real power is."
