26 Tournament Part 1

The streets on the imperial capital of Divine Dragon Empire was crowded, the people were all busy. People were running back and forth, some were even busy decorating the streets with the empires flag. Yamamoto who was walking on the busy street called out to a young man.

Minutes later the people started to cheer and shout as they look, clap and stomp their feet as they saw the incoming figures. Leading them was a male and a female wearing a set of armor. The male was wearing a golden armor with red cape in his back, he was carrying a golden sword with dragon engraving on its blade. He gave the feeling of a rightful person.

The female was wearing a set of blue armor with black skirt. She has a beautiful and proud look, She has a rapier hanging on her waist.

They were the two of the 'Three Great General' of the Divine Dragon Empire. Jin Tian knew as the 'Hundred-Swords General' and Lei Shuang the 'Thunder Frost General. The both of them sat beside each other as they look at the crowd shouting their name.

"His Majesty the Emperor the crown prince and the second prince has arrived. Accompanying them was the 'Crimson General' General Xie" a soldier shouted as he kneels.

The crowd stop their shouting and kneel to the ground they all shouted simultaneously,

"We greet His Majesty the Emperor"

The emperor looks at the crowd and said with a smile, "all of you stand up." Then look at his two generals and said,

"General Jin and General Lei the both of you give your all on the war against the 'Nine Profound Empire' you even seriously wounded their general. For what you did to the empire, I emperor Long Liu thank you deeply." the emperor said as he looks at his two generals with respect.

"We just do what we are supposed to do your majesty," said General Jin.

"Your majesty need not thank us, because we need to protect our empire and the citizens against those bastards." General Lei said.

"Still allow me to thank you again for protecting my Empire," the emperor said as he signals his guards.

A group of soldiers came in carrying two boxes of gold and arrived at the front of the two generals.

"General Jin and General Lei this is just one of the present I have prepared for the both of you. Later go to the palace and meet me, I will give the other presents there" the emperor said.

"We thank his majesty" the two of them said as they kneel.

The emperor look at his people and said in a loud voice, "My people as you know we are at war at our neighboring empire the 'Nine Profound Empire' for almost a hundred years. They are aiming to take our land from our family. Those beasts want to make our family, our friends and our people as their slaves."

The emperor take a deep breath and continue, "But fortunately our generals here are able to stop them for now, the reason they were able to stop the enemy general was because they underestimated our power, they thought that we would be easily conquered like they do to other kingdoms and empires. But I know, the next time they attack they would be much more careful, decisive and ruthless. Luckily for us that it is the 'Black Lion General' was leading their army when they went to war. If their number one general was to lead their army, sadly to say but even if our 'Three Great Generals' were to battle him together, they will surely lose. So today aside from celebrating our victory against the empire, we would also hold a tournament today."
