Bai Yong's body shivered when he saw the dead body of his men. He clearly know what capabilities this subordinate of his had. This subordinate of his was an Early Stage Martial Soldier, he is also a trusted aide of his father. He is also a personal bodyguard of his father. The only reason Bai Yong was capable of acting arrogant was first he was the second son of the city lord, second he knew how capable this subordinate of his are.

But now the subordinate the he looked up to was lying in the ground dead, with his head smashed open. Bai Yong felt like someone pour over a cold water on him creating a chill run down to his spine.

Bai Yong look up and saw two individuals walking towards him. They were both wearing white robes that cover their whole body. From their body he can tell that one is female and the other one was male. He tried to detect their cultivation realm but he could not detect any strand of qi in their body.

"Why can't I detect any qi from them? Are they mortal? then how can they kill Pak Tai(name of Thug#1)" he said to himself.

"May I know if the two seniors are the one who killed my subordinate?" Bai Yong cupped his fist and asked in a respectful manner.

"I am the one who killed him. Why? do you want to take revenge for your subordinate, you are free to try." Qian Ru said in a cold voice.

"No..no.. senior misunderstand, this subordinate of mine act on his own will. May I know how senior kill my subordinate?" he ask while his head still lowered. But his eyes were flaming with anger.

"It's simple, I just beat him with this" after saying that Qian Ru takes out a simple looking wood and show it to him.

Bai Yong look at the simple looking wood(it is just ordinary wood) and inspect it with his qi sense. Not finding anything Bai Yong thought "How could they beat Pak Tai with that wood, even though they don't have any qi." Bai Yong think silently in his mind before his eyes lit up as if understanding something. "I now understand, there must be something special with that piece of wood, there must be a hidden secret in that wood. I must get that wood from them at all cost" feeling lucky at himself Bai Yong smile at both of them.

"Seniors would you be willing to part with that wood, don't worry seniors I will pay for it. So how much would it be seniors?" he said while still smiling.

Qian Ru look at Bai Yong like she was looking at an insect, then she look at the wood in her hand. "This is just an ordinary wood, why would he want something like this" she thought to herself with a puzzled look on her face. Then like realizing why Bai Yong want it she wave the wood in front of him then said.

"You know this ordinary looking piece of wood is not so 'ordinary', there are many secrets in this 'ordinary' piece of wood. Even I don't know all of it, so if you want to buy this the price will be a little higher" after saying that Qian Ru sigh helplessly like she was unwilling to part from it.

After hearing and seeing her reaction Bai Yong's smile widened, he took out a small pouch on his pocket and handed it to Qian Ru then said "Seniors in that pouch is 300 low grade spirit stones, I think it is enough to buy that wood from seniors. Don't you agree?"

After receiving the small pouch and hearing what he said Qian Ru smile then handed the 'ordinary' wood to him and said.

"Now that it is yours now we would take our leave" she said as they walk towards the door. But before they could reach it Bai Yong tell to them.

"May I know what seniors name is?"

"Why do you want to know our names? are you suspecting us giving you a fake item" Qian Ru said with a frown on her face.

"No no senior misunderstand, I just want to inform senior that there would be an auction that would happen later tonight. It will be held by the Black Dragon Auction Firm. I was just curious if seniors know about it and if seniors would be attending" Bai Yong said.

Hearing what Bai Yong said, it piqued Ulquiorra's attention especially when knowing that there would be an auction.

Noticing their reaction especially the male Bai Yong smile then said to them "So seniors would you be participating in the auction?"

Ulquiorra look at Bai Yong then said "Yes" after saying that they turn around and left the restaurant. Even though it is just one word. Upon hearing it Bai Yong's whole body sweated and began to shiver uncontrollably, his legs and knees give up as he seat on the ground with a pale face. He don't know why the moment he hear his voice an unimaginable pressure came to him. He also can't understand that although he could not feel a strand of qi on their body, his senses tell him that if he make a move on them he would die. Bai Yong just seat in the floor of the restaurant fora few minutes before leaving to gift the 'ordinary looking wood' to his father.
