7 It Won't Last Long

Veon returned the laptop to Jules and he looked at me. "What can cure toxoplasoma gondii and Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease? Because of what we read, these are the possible effects, not so much on the scientific bases," Veon said and Sheloah nodded.

"True. Number 5 is somewhat proven with what had happened a while ago," Sheloah said and they all started thinking.

"Pyrimethamine," Jules said and they looked at him. "It is also a medication for malaria and it is also a cure for toxoplasoma gondii. It is a folic agent antagonist which means, it may prevent the body from absorbing the important B vitamin folate especially when a person takes high doses over a long period of time," Jules explained and Sheloah scratched her head.

"I have no idea of what you had just said but… yeah," she said and Veon laughed at her slightly.

"Anyway, you said that pyrame—whatever, I don't know how to pronounce this. It's just that you said it is a possible cure," Veon said and Jules nodded. "Later in SM, we look at the pharmacies available for this pyrameblabla, whatever," Veon added and Sheloah laughed at him as she nodded.

"For the Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, there is no treatment. They tried all possible cures, but nothing happened 'til now," Jules added and Sheloah nodded at him.

"Thank you, Jules." She thanked him and Jules now returned to the others. "Now, we need to think of a plan," Sheloah said as she stretched both of her arms.

"You said we will go to SM later at night, right," Veon said and Sheloah nodded at him. "We will use the service car of the school. The key might be in the guard's room," he added and Sheloah now looked at Veon seriously.

"But the guard's room is near the covered court," she said and Veon tilted his head.

"Yeah, so?" Sheloah scoffed at his question.

"'Yeah, so' your face! Do you remember? The zombies are now there because of the music being played by the speaker!" Realization dawned on Veon and he looked at the floor.

"Damn… what now," Veon said and Sheloah shook her head.

"No choice. You know how to drive, so you drive. We have to go there, get the key, and run to the canteen where the service car is," Sheloah said and Veon nodded.

"We need people to go with us," Veon said and Sheloah looked at her classmates.

"Tyler and Josh will go with us. As for Edward, Dean and Ace, they have to stay. They have to look after the class." Veon nodded at what Sheloah said and she continued speaking. "We need to hurry up so we could return to them. Dean, Ace and Edward have no weapons to protect the class." Sheloah held the gun which was hidden under her skirt, tied to her thigh. "All we have here is our gun."

"The bullets that we have now need to be used well. We can't shoot everyone we see. It even makes a loud noise so we should not resort to using it at all costs," Veon said as he sighed. "We should at least get melee weapons for them," Veon suggested and Sheloah nodded at him.

"Six floors down, and we will arrive at our school's home economics room. Do you suggest we get knives there, return here, then give weapons for them and leave some for us?" Sheloah tilted her head, waiting for Veon's answer.

"Possible, but do you think there are zombies down there?" It was now Sheloah's turn to sigh.

"That… we are unsure." Both of them stood up. "But we will still go there. We need weapons," Sheloah said finally.

"We won't finish this with just the four of us," Veon said and Sheloah leaned on the railings.

"We will think of a back up plan. Just trust me," she said and Veon just looked at her. The wind blew as Sheloah held her hair in place.

Baguio City is the Summer Capital of the Philippines. It had cold climates and people usually go to this small city for vacation. Since most of the people live in hot areas of the Philippines, they usually go to Baguio to cool down. Now at this time, it is already in the -ber months so it is now colder in the city.

Sheloah looked at the sky. "We leave by 4:30PM. Tell the plan to Josh and Tyler. After, I will tell the plan to the whole class." Veon did what Sheloah said and she was now left alone, deep in thoughts.

They need to do this fast. Once they are done getting what they need, they will make a new plan on how to leave the school on the third day. They can't be too sure of their safety here.

She looked at her classmates who were still conversing with each other, with smiles plastered on their face. Sheloah wanted to see these smiles. She wanted all of them to survive as a complete group. She wanted all of them to escape this place together. They need to move fast.

These smiles… it won't last long.
