4 Party Time

After waiting patiently for around 4 hours Felix finally heard what he had been waiting for. From outside he heard a growl and the adventures giving out orders.

"Trader make sure to stay inside of your carriage, it looks like we just walked into a pair of Needle Tailed Tigers. Jeremy, you make sure that none of the slaves try to get out, and if any try then you know what to do."

All the slaves remained quiet which made Felix's job easier, with closed eyes he paid attention to the deep growls and what seemed to be claws scratching against a shield. After about 15 minutes the growling stopped and he began to hear the laughter of people.

"Emma hurry up and heal me, that damn thing hit me with his tail. Gotta say that this is one of the closest calls we've had this whole trip."

Felix smiled and gave a short nod 'Sis it's time.'

Two of the laughters immediately stopped and there was a scream of what seemed to be a woman but that too was quickly silenced.

They began hearing metal clashing and yelling coming from two men.

"Where the hell did you come from? Who are you."

"You'll pay for killing our members."

The slaves quickly tensed up as they heard the sound of steel clashing against steel and the horses neighing after being spooked. After a short minute, the sounds were gone. The thing that replaced it was the sound of one swift movement that were completed in unison then, total silence.

{{Looks like it's safe to come out}}

Felix nodded and began getting up, and got closer to the clothed door.

"No don't you might get …. "

He ignored whoever was talking and stepped outside. When he looked around he found an army of men standing straight with a shield and spear in hand. He looked around and found the bodies of 3 of his men around a light armored man who was now dead. There were another 5 around a big body that seemed to have full body armor and an unbelievably heavy-looking shield.

There were the bodies of another man and 2 girls but they seemed to go down smoothly since there were no Unsullied corpses next to them. They seemed to have been stabbed through the neck before they could react. He looked at the bubble that was on his right side and found something interesting written on it.

----------

2 Unsullied have reached level 8

1 Unsullied has reached level 10

1 Unsullied has reached level 11

1 Unsullied has reached level 16

8 Unsullied have been killed

3 Unsullied are injured

+5 AG coins

Felix read the list again but didn't quite understand what was meant by level 'Sis what is this?"

{{ I dunno but after scanning the men 5 of them they seem to have increased their speed, stamina, and strength by a frightening amount. They seemed to have extracted an unknown substance from the adventurers that they killed.}}

This surprised him 'Increase in their strength and speed? Substance?"

He walked closer to a body but found nothing more than blood. He shrugged and looked around at the men, 'Looks like it's about time'.

"My name is Felix Claudius Traianus but you can just call me Felix, from now on you are under my command."

As soon as he finished his sentience the Unsullied raised their shields to chest height and brought their spears closer to their bodies. He had to admit that the sound that they made when they moved in unison made him feel amazing.

"Gather the bodies of our comrades and take anything that can be useful from our enemy, take any coins or goods that the women might have. I also need 16 of you to make 9 holes over there that are about this deep, long, and wide look around for anything that might help you. The 3 of you that are injured sit down and use anything that these men might have on them to treat your wounds"

Without saying anything the men began doing as they were told the ones that weren't doing anything took the duty of watch. 4 men came to him and placed themselves on his right and left side.

He was about to go look at a fancy red chariot that was in front of the old and ugly one that he had been in when he heard movement from behind him. He turned around and found that his men seemed to be pointing their spears at the wooden cart. 'Oh, that's right the slaves'.

He was walking towards them but then he remembered something 'Sis that mask that I got as a gift can you bring that out?"

As soon as he said that he felt something cover the bottom half of his face. He jumped back in surprise but then touched it and realized that it was the mask,' Such amazing sorcery'. He still wasn't sure exactly what he was going to do with the slaves, so he decided that he might as well wear the mask in case he wanted to let them go.

Felix wasn't stupid, he knew that they had seen his face, but he hoped that the mask might strengthen the point of not telling anyone what he looked like. There was the option of killing them but after being in the war zone with the two slaves that took care of his group he had gotten a negative view on slavery. There was also the fact that he was surrounded by slave warriors, unlike the Roman Empire who had many slaves that became soldiers, he had nothing to offer. The system said that the men would listen to him but he didn't want to risk it. They might have been trained since they were 5 but they just met him and now where in a new world.

He arrived at the opening of the carriage and found that the man who the woman had slapped earlier poked his head out. Felix lifted his hand and the men lowered their spears, he then signaled the slave to come out.

The man was about to ask the kid why he was wearing the mask but he immediately stopped when he saw that the kid ordered the man to lower their weapons. He was shocked and at first, doubted himself that the hand motion he had seen was an order but he then saw the 4 men that flanked the young kid and knew he wasn't mistaken.

One by one the slaves slowly came down from the carriage and sat down on the ground. Felix saw that there was some dried meat, bread, and fruit on the front of the carriage and he told one of the four men to give some to the slaves. After that was done he set his eyes on the red carriage in front, one of the unsullied opened the door and suddenly there was screaming.

The warrior grabbed a man and pulled him out of the carriage, Felix looked at the skinny man with interest. The man was wearing a strange black suit with a white undershirt and not a robe that he had seen many wealthy men in Rome wear.

"Would you happen to be the slave trader?"

The man looked at him with confusion but after looking at the men he quickly nodded "Yes I am, If you take me to the nearby Village then I promise you I will never tell anyone what happened here I will also give you 10 gold coins.

Felix looked at the man squirming for his life and sighed 'Guess that no matter where you go these rich people are all the same.'

He pointed at the slaves "As the buyer of them you should have a manifest that provides me with the price and charges of these slaves right, where is it?"

The man nodded and pointed at the carriage "It's in there?"

Felix went inside the carriage and looked around, on one of the couches there was a book with lots of papers inside. He sat on the couch and began looking through it, once again he was able to read it even though he knew that it wasn't written in Latin.

After some time searching he finally found the list with 8 names on it. He read through it and shook his head, 5 of them were imprisoned due to the lack of paying taxes the other three were charged with theft of food.

He climbed down and looked around, by now the bodies were looted, the holes were being dug using the big shield and swords from the adventurers. He breathed in the clean fresh air and nodded and suddenly two large black figures caught his attention. He began walking towards them and found that they were actually tigers like the ones that he had seen in the Colosseum. The difference was that these seemed to be around twice the size, they also had black fur with red stripes, and what surprised him the most was that they had three long tails that had what seemed to be spearheads at the end.

Felix looked at the amazing beasts but his gaze was glued at something that had inserted itself in the sides of the tigers. He touched it and immediately pulled his hand back "Is this Ice? How can this be here?"

He turned to the 3 men that were guarding him and found that they didn't seem to be too spooked, "Have any of you seen such a beast before, or a weapon like that?"

The guards quickly shook their head and answered "No master, we haven't"

Felix nodded and was amazed by the men's courage, if it really was true then they were extremely brave and well-trained meaning that the adventurers were really monsters since one of them took five of them out.
