Rosa woke up with a groan. She was lying on the inn’s bed. She felt the warm blanket pulled up to her chin. The room was semi-dark with the light curtain closed on her side. The room had a light orange glow with the amount of light peaking in through the window. She pushed herself up with a groan, her body was feeling sore. She pulled up her shirt to check the place she got kicked. It did not feel like she broke anything but there was a dark blue mark on her stomach.
Her memory went to the scenes of the fight. ‘He was strong. I still can’t fight well with opponents twice my size.’
While on the battlefield she could dodge and avoid the counters, this time the place was small and it was harder for her to dodge.
‘I need more training.’ She thought rubbing her eyes. ‘Ugh and a bath I stink.’
