Bk3: Ch– 163 Prospects of Marriage(pt-1)

The Emperor’s office was hectic with the shouts; the maids were cleared away with only a few guard knights just out of the door. They could hear everything. Senal turned to look at Marcus, who in turn shook his head. They both flinched every time there was a shout from the room. There was a strange tension in the room. Marcus sent Tristan back first. However, Marcus could not leave the Emperor in hysterics and decided to stay guarding the corridor.

“The Empress will take a long time, right?” Argen arrived with Silver behind him.

He was given a promotion for protecting the Empress in the hunting ground. His new uniform was provided a dark velvet green color. He was given a position to lead the Empress.

“I think it will be long before anyone from inside gets out. ” Marcus replied, to which Senal nodded.

“Is it as I have heard? The Princess wishes to choose her partner?” Argen asked, curious.

The other two nodded. “It is going to create trouble, I see.”
