2 TROMBE!

**3rd POV**

"This moment, take a closer shot with the main drone cam, " The woman who is often called 'Miss', issues an order to one of her staff members.

The staff member responds by controlling the small drone cam which is a fly, close to Elos who was fighting for his life against the metal spike.

"Don't be monotonous. Slowly change the angle of the cam for the whole scenery of him and his 'Spectrum', " She advised as the staff member carefully controls the drone cam and records the whole scene of Elos's Spectrum (Trombe, the humanoid figure) flurry punches and his determined expression.

"Good, good! That's a nice cam shot, and don't forget to turn on his theme song in the background while at it!" Miss compliments the worker and patted the person's back.

"What are the audiences' responses from the live stream?" She asked with a loud voice.

"The responses in the live stream comments in 'Metube' platform are positive, Miss. One of them even commented, 'I think I got off from that'. "

"Weird youngsters these days but it's fine as long as the audiences are enjoying it, " She smacks her lips before playing around with her handheld fan.

"Should we trigger the next trap, Miss?"

"No, not yet. For now, we wait as there is one of the participants waiting for him..., " She sits back down on her armchair before crossing her legs.

"May I suggest instilling the idea of shipping characters in the fandom of our show?"

"Is that a fine idea that I just heard? Who said that? I want to give a raise!" She exclaims before most of the staff members raised their hands in response. Which was giving Miss a headache.

...........

Elos's POV

It all happened too fast, but fortunately, my life is still intact.

The humanoid figure stops punching the metal spike which was already bent beyond repair, as I got out of the lock with its help. It was only a few more inches before it could reach my heart. My ragged breathing slows down as the situation seems to die out.

The humanoid figure, which I called 'Trombe' starts to fade as my heartbeat rate calms down. The pain in my body gradually subsides.

"The wheelchair, " I muttered as my eyes darted on the said item. Slightly gritting my teeth at the thought of the close distance between me and the wheelchair.

"I can't move anywhere without it... and the rope got cut, " I looked at the piece of makeshift rope in my palm and cast it aside.

It seems like I have to find another way to get onto the wheelchair but how? My body is too weak for crawling.

"Maybe that humanoid could help me with that, " I said as I took a deep breath.

"Trombe!" I shouted the name again, but nothing happened, which I began to feel worried about.

How did I manifest that humanoid figure before? Simply saying its name does not work. Maybe, I need to fulfil some conditions...

"Think, think Elos! Or you'll be a bloody juice because of that wall!" I shut my eyes to get deeper into my thoughts. Trying to remember the sensation I felt the first time I manifested that figure.

I remember the first time feeling a burning pain in my chest, concentrated around my heart along with my convulsing muscle. But in general, I can vaguely deduce that it involves my vital organ...

"My heart? Is it my heartbeat?" I began to wonder while opening my eyes.

This might be the key to my mysterious ability!

If I were able to fully grasp the concept of it, I would have a higher chance of escape and survival for this whole predicament. But, the keyword is 'if'.

"I won't know if I don't try. "

"...what is there to lose anyway, " I shook off the pessimistic thought and began to focus. I could not afford to indulge myself in a negative fantasy. But, being too positive might be ignorant of me, and it would cost my life. So, I have to keep a balance in my view.

*Ba-dum*

I set a high expectation on my second attempt. As I could hear and feel the rate of my heartbeat accelerates irregularly from slow to fast and fast to slow repeatedly while hammering against my ribcage.

"Trombe!" The second attempt ended up as a failure. There were no signs of the bluish liquid aura enveloping me, nor there was the humanoid figure which is called 'Trombe'.

All of this brainstorming starts giving me a headache. I tried to endure and narrow my gaze onto the marble floor. As I wonder which part did I do wrong in trying to manifest Trombe.

..........

3rd POV

"Elos seems to not catch the correct method to manifest his humanoid thingy, Miss, " One of the staff members commented.

Miss narrows her eyes in disdain towards the particular staff member and says, "It's not called 'humanoid thingy', you dimwit. It's called a 'Spectrum', an extension of the race Spectra's consciousness. "

"I apologise for my ignorance, Miss. But I think it would be better if we 'push' him once again. "

Miss ponders for a few seconds as she juggles between decisions before asking, "...What's the audience's current reaction from the live stream?"

"Most of them wanted Elos to hurry up and manifest 'Trombe' before getting squashed by the wall. While few kept commenting, 'DIE! DIE! DIE!', probably some trollers or cultists. "

"...first, ban those minorities from taking too much space of the comment section. "

"What is your second order, Miss?"

Another few seconds has passed as Miss held her chin. Seeming to be mindful of her next action and said, "We only have around 18 minutes before ending the live broadcast so, we have to make haste. "

"Increase the strength of the moving wall to pressure Elos to manifest Trombe... this would increase the rating of our reality death game show, " She seldomly said with a deep tone. The sclera of her eyes seems to change into green colour.

..........

Elos's POV

"How did I do it like last time?" I kept racking my head while holding my chin, unaware to the surroundings. Since the moving wall is slow, I have some spare time to think of the way to manifest Trombe.

Also, I had a feeling that Trombe was majorly involved in my past life as a part of my old identity. Which means, it could be the ticket to finding my origin, maybe. But the current problem is, I do not understand how to initiate this ability of mine.

*Trik!*

"Huh?" I glanced at the moving wall which was already in contact with my arm. My suspicions arose as I realised...

The wall became faster!

"WHA-!" I yell out of surprise after the wall backs up and bashes against me.

*BASH!*

"AGH!" My eyes widened as my whole body was bashed against the opposite wall. A mouthful of my saliva spat out to the air with a small mix of blood.

The pain quickly spread to my whole being as cracks formed on the wall behind me. My ears ringing along with my mind temporarily stupefied from the impact.

My mouth agape after the rebound. I fell with my face against the marble floor. Drools slipping through the gaps of my lips which were kissing dirty tiles.

I glared up and saw the wall moving with a speed that threatened my life.

I swear I could feel my heart skip a beat. If not, I probably already dead or otherwise, this would be a torture. Either way, I accept it, the fact that I have to go through this to live another day...

To find my past and the meaning of my life.

Thinking like this makes my heart flare-up in hatred towards whoever placed me in this bloody room. Who prevented me from going anywhere if I do not give my one-hundred per cent.

If that is how it is, then so be it.

I will remember this pain the person gave me, and by the time I get out, I'll return it 100 fold without mercy. This reality nightmare, I will drive it back home with a hole in his or her body.

I could feel it, the rate of my heartbeat reaching the limit and became constant. This is...

"T-trom... be..., " I endured the pain and whispered the name of my companion, the humanoid figure.

Immediately, the pain in my body is amplified as I could feel in my heart. Causing it hard for me to keep composed breathing, but I distract myself with the incoming wall.

A tear rolled down to the floor as a liquid aura enveloped my whole body. Extending into the empty air beside me as matters began to mix. A bright glint of metallic grey shines from the light behind the curtains of the window. Reflecting the muscles underneath the tight wires. Its arms bulge with strength and a body of a superior.

Trombe has come to my aid.
