2 CHAPTER 2

CHAPTER 2

First Assignment

The ambience and environment seemed to be of a modern age, a modern world,

Chirps of cricket heard aloud in the twilights. The sight of the camera's view rolls over to an unknown destination. Flying across walls and soaring the sky. It's given location was unusual. A house isolated far from the world,--

--In a half dead, half living environment.

A creature swiftly flew from above, clashing with the surface of the leveled land. Clothed in a black strange cloak with sleek golden designs around the arm. The style of the given creature was unlike any in current times. He had a golden crown over his head and just as he stood still, his eyes were caught, closed. Well not for long.

He folded his hands at his lower back as he stepped forward to the door of the house. The house, as its design was displayed, seemed to be of ages and was indeed wearing out.

He walked past the locked door with a strange ability to transform his embodiment to fog.

Past the door, his body merged back to the exact same status of a human, just as seen earlier, but with parts of the fog still accumulating to the body.

Into the house, he first encountered the living room. His steps were aye forward until he came in contact with a picture frame hung on the wall of the left end of the living room. Below the frame was a table, and a card.

Seen from a specific angle, the television was turned on with a lowered volume. The channel as it was displayed turned out to be an animated network, for kids, if not any other. He looked at the screen of the television before gasping.

He unfolded his hand as he had the intention to take hold of the card.

The nails of the creature deeply grooved in on the wooden dining table which the card was over.

He looked into the card and what was written was clearly visible.

"Fifth Commander of The Anti-Magus Community!"

Little trembling squeaks were heard by the corner of the living room. From where the creature stood, he looked towards the given area and his eyes fell upon a little child whose arms engulfed the teddy bear he held tightly.

He folded his hands back at its previous position before he kept walking. P'rhaps, it must have been that the child was none of his concern.

His cloak swept the floor as it was seen. His legs were in no form visible to the camera's sight. Sight rolled up to the face of the creature as it was just aye soothed.

He walked past a door leading out of the living room and into a hallway, which houses a stairway that led to the higher floor of the building where the rooms were.

He took the stairway and again, his feet steps were monitored. It was like he effortlessly walked the stairs. Like he floated, or rather, slid upwards.

The position at which his hand was folded was tight with his thumb engulfed by other fingers both on the right hand and the left hand.

Sight slowly went up from behind and more details were indeed caught. The wrist area of his garment was extremely large with a given design. It had a sharp edge, like a tip that reached for the floors.

His ambitions were unknown but were just yet to be bloody. A horrific ambience became presence as he stood before a given door as the camera slipped through the keyhole. The other side of the door had a couple lying peacefully on their widespread King's bed.

The lights instantly faded as the door knob twisted.

One bloody night indeed, awaits...
