1 Rose

One day I woke up in an unfamiliar bed. A beautiful girl with pastel pink hair and crimson red eyes had just entered the room when I woke up. "May i know your name?" She said. God her voice was just as beautiful as she was. "I'm Aria Thea" I said. "Where did you come from?" She asked. I froze I had forgotten all about the unfamiliar setting. I looked around. I went to the window to look outside. I had no idea where I am. "Where am I?" I asked. "In the Hart estate" she responded. "How did I get here?" I asked her another question. "I found you in my courtyard and asked the soldiers to bring you in here." She responded.

"So where are you from? What's with your strange clothing?" She asked.

I didn't know what to say. So I said, "I don't know."

"May i know your name?" I asked her.

"I'm Rose Hart. Duke Hart's second child."

Rose Hart I name that suited her well.

"What are you gonna do now?" She asked.

"What do you mean?" I replied.

"I mean you can't stay here unless you are a worker." she informed me.

"I'm not sure."

"Do you want to work as my personal maid? How old are you?"

"Is that really okay? I'm 16 years old."

"You will attend classes with me when I get back to school next week. I'm 17."

"Okay. Thank you." I said as someone knocked on the door.

"You may enter." Said Rose.

A boy with blonde hair and red eyes entered. He walked up to Rose.

"You better not bother Lady June when we get back to school" he said as he glared at her.

Rose stayed in silence then said, "Brother Iku, Lady June has to know boundaries even if she only recently became a barons daughter."

Hmm??? Lady June? Rose Hart? Iku Hart? Those names sound like the ones from the novel I was reading last night. It can't be. Can it?

After Rose's brother left she had a bitter look on her face.

"L-lady Rose are you by any chance engaged?"

She looked surprised.

"Yes. I'm engaged to the 2nd prince, Angelo Raes."

This is too much of a coincidence.

"Lately though a baron girl has gotten close to the prince. It's uneducated for the baron girl and the prince to be that close when he has a fiancé."

The bitter expression reappeared.

"Apart from that she also has my brother, the first prince, and Duke Andrew all attracted to her."

"How many years do you have left till you can leave school?" I asked.

"I have two years." She responded.

Two years? I'll do my best to help her.

"Please take care of me during this time, Lady Rose."

"You too, Lady Aria."
